I only have positive things to say about my experience at Honey + Garlic. I recently completed a physiotherapy program with Ashley Jestin and am so satisfied with the results! Ashley is a very kind and caring practitioner, it was my first time in physio and she totally put me at ease. She is a great listener and I can tell informed consent guides her practice. She gave me all the knowledge and tools I needed to be an active participant in my recovery, which really helped motivate me to get back into things!

Highly recommend Kiefer here if you're looking for osteopathy. He's kind, gentle, down to earth, calming, and I find his treatments leave me feeling better every time. The studio itself is really nice as well, I'd recommend it to anyone.

It was the best RMT experience I’ve had in Vancouver. I’ve tried several places, but Amy was the most professional and skilled therapist. She understood my concerns right away and balanced the session perfectly, focusing on exactly what I needed. Her technique was precise. Also, Honey Garlic Studio itself is such a clean and welcoming space with a great vibe. It made the whole experience even better. I had an amazing visit and will definitely be coming back! 💆‍♀️✨

Big fan of this clinic - have worked with their rmts, physios, chiro and tcm practicioners. Stoked that they've brought on an osteopath too - it's new to me, but I gave it a shot because the other practioners have been fantastic in the past. Kiefer is great - he's helped to address some decade-plus tension problems with curiousity, humour and a very practical approach.

Jon gives a great massage, especially if you need a firm one to reach the harder areas. He also takes feedback well and can taylor it to the amount of pressure that you need.

Honey + Garlic is my go to for RMTs. Everyone is so friendly and qualified. I got to know both the practitioners and the staff at the front really well over the last few years and the practice does a wonderful job of making you feel comfortable and at home. It’s dog-friendly which is a huge plus. Shoutout to Vicky, who I think my dog loves more than me now.

I always feel super welcomed here—everyone on staff is incredibly kind and helpful (shout out to Vicky—I'm going to miss you !). I've been seeing Dr. Alexa for years now for chiropractic treatments and there's a reason why I've been so loyal, she's outstanding at her craft. I ALWAYS know I’ll feel better and relieved right after my appointments with her. I've also had RMT treatments done by Jessica Hutson and Jadey Li, who are both just absolutely phenomenal ! I highly recommend this place.

I booked a 90-minute massage appointment for 9am. It happened to be snowing quite heavily on the morning of and I took extra time off work to make it there on time. I saw that there was a sign on the door saying their reception doesn't start until 9am, their sign was inside and there was no one at reception. No one answered or came out when I rang the buzzer so I left. I assumed they had closed because of the snow. The appointment reminder email I received had no information about reception starting at 9am. The email did said don't show up more than 5 minutes before your appointment but then someone should open the door. I couldn't go back because I had gotten a ride there and didn't have time to wait around for someone to maybe open the door because the person dropping me off had somewhere to be. I called within 10 minutes and got charged a no-show fee even though I was there, just no one opened the door. I'm not waiting around in the snow for a business that should be open to open the door for me when they look closed and empty, especially if I had booked an appointment well in advance. The receptionist said, "It's JUST $30 plus GST." That's still money and your staff may have lost money but so did I - I had to take extra time off work and waste time commuting. Perhaps consider staffing the office appropriately at appointment times instead of making clients pay the price of your ineptitude. Take responsibility for your mistakes and poor planning.

Love it here, Professional, clean, convenient location, open 7 days, free street parking on Fraser and 16th Ave all street parking. Book your RMT if you find someone you like, appointments fill up fast! Thank you Honey and Garlic.

Came in for a 60 minute RMT session with Kat. She was very friendly and asked various questions to make sure she pinpointed the exact parts of my body that needed attention. I had an overall great experience but there were a few things to consider: Cons: 1) Parking is scarce. They're located right infront a bus stop which made looking for parking hard (unless you transit, it's right along the Fraser 8 route). I had to park 2 blocks away and was worried about the 1 hour parking limit but my session ended right on time. They have a small section of free (1 or 2) parking on their block but it was completely full around the time of my appointment (10:30AM) 2) There was a lot of noise coming from outside/ waiting area. I'm not sure if it was other patients coming in or other employees socializing outside, but I had a bit of a hard time relaxing when I could hear people's conversations. Would be concerned if this was coming from other employees... Not something you'd want to build a reputation from. Pros: 1) They direct bill! They do all the insurance work with the company, you are just responsible for paying the remaining balance (however much depends on your coverage) 2) Easy to find. They're right off the intersection of Kingsway and Fraser. So overall a great experience thanks to Kat, but the noise took away from a 5 star review. Will definitely be back though!

Atmosphere: clean, cozy, renovated 5 years ago before they opened. Let me preface the review with this: I've been to more than 10 RMTs throughout the years (due to availability of the RMTs, location, and my hectic schedule) and I rarely give 5's but many RMTs here deserve a 5, specifically Stephanie, Heidi, Kat, and Carolyn. Staff: They pay attention to detail (eg bedwarmers are on during the winter time, shoulder pillows, clean linens, relaxing music); ask for a thorough history; and cater to your specific quirks. Most importantly, they're so knowledgeable and have given me useful advice on how often to change my shoes and rolling at home with a lacrosse ball. Convenience: They offer direct billing and accept credit or cash. I love that I can book and cancel appointments online. There's usually street parking as well. I've never left with a poor massage. I highly recommend this place.

I've been seeing Leonie for acupuncture for a few years now (should've written this earlier!) and she is amazing. She is incredibly warm and caring and it really comes across while she is working on you. I'm a big baby when it comes to needles, but Leonie constantly checks in with me to ensure that everything she does is okay. She's treated me for back pain, immune boosting and energy boosting, and I've had incredible results from her treatments. I think she is extremely talented at what she does. As for the studio itself, it is very cute and clean and in a great neighbourhood. The only other service I've been here for is physiotherapy, and sadly my wonderful physiotherapist moved away.

Poor customer experience. The receptionist Vicky is not nice and rude. She makes things up that are untrue and actually false, making it seem like it's the customer that's at fault when really, it's her saying false things. The owner also doesn't listen so it's like talking to a wall. Don't go here, find another place that will actually listen to customer feedback and make it a better experience. Rather than tell you that you have to pay fees for a really bad customer service. So rude. Vicky also doesn't listen to customers, just does what she feels like and then puts the blame on the customers. The fact that the owner doesn't want to listen is a tell-tale sign of a poorly run clinic and just waste your time. They don't understand what a good customer experience means, so find another place that gets it and will actually listen to what you have to say. Other clinics have the ability to listen to feedback, this one just doesn't and won't, so if you are paying good money for service and expect a good service you won't find it here.

Staff is incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The environment is super clean and calming. I just had my first acupuncture & cupping treatment at this studio and, in just ONE session, my past two years of chronic, depression-inducing pain was alleviated. Can't wait for my subsequent treatments!

Almost thought I was in Yaletown when I walked in here ;) that's how spiffy it is. Actually pretty cozy with the furniture, didn't feel like a clinic and what not. RMT's available too, $95 for 60 minutes. just opened in February; $75 for physiotherapy first session, then $65 after. Don't need a doc's note. Big seating area.

I've been to 2 physio sessions at honey and garlic. I went there after my first accident and the receptionist and therapist was really knowledgeable and helpful about how to deal with my issues. The recommended me a lawyer to deal with Icbc ( they were a pain). My back also felt so much better each time. My physiotherapist is called Kevin. He's nice and knew exactly what to do to ensure I have a healthy back again. He tried various types of back exercises and massages. I definitely would be coming back. The place is clean and very professional.

I had been seeing Liam for a while (at least a year) and then stopped when he moved out of the country (he is great. Yesterday I went to a different studio and had a terrible experience where I woke up with bruising and a ton of pain. I came in today and saw Carolyn, she was absolutely wonderful not only taking me day of but was very gentle and talked to me extensively before starting about my pain and what I wanted done. Even right after I already feel MUCH better then I did this morning. Everyone here is very qualified and friendly and the studio is very cute! I already have another appointment booked and fully plan on coming back to help with my tension and migraines.

Live this massage place. They always take the time to listen to whats going on in with your injuries and I always feel so much better after leaving this place. The chiropractor Sarah is super nice and awesome as well

Convenient online booking reservation system and great hours of operation. They are open Saturdays and have after 5 appointments. The 3 times I have been there the rooms are always clean. Both Jessica and Carolyn are great Rmts and I always leave feeling more relaxed and better than when I came in. They don't have a parking lot but there is street parking on Fraser and the side streets.

I was looking for a RMT and a gf of mine recommended for me to come check this place out (she comes here). I went and checked this place out online and it had amazing reviews. After reading the bios of RMT, I wanted to see Stephanie and Kat as I felt their style best suited me and what I am looking for. To my luck, Stephanie's schedule worked for me as Kat's availability was super limited. One great thing about this place is that you can book online, how convinient! Upon entering this place, the first thought that came to my head was "omg how cute!". It's not your typical blank room with a massage bed. It's well decorated and makes you feel super welcomed and at home. Stephanie was awesome. She did a great job assessing me asking me questions and touching my back/spine to see if it was aligned. Beforeqwe began our massage,she went outside so I can get undressed and hop on the table under the sheets. I loved it, loved the room I was in and the music playing in the background. After when my time was done, she gave me a few minutes to get changed and waited for me at the front for payment. It was such a positive and professional experience yet I felt like I was at home or with a friend. I can see why this place has 5 stars. I highly recommend this place!

Came here in dire need of help, because I definitely strained some muscles / haven't had a massage in ages. Honey and garlic had an easy online booking system, and I booked with Jessica. She was amazing. Loved the deep pressure. Usually I prefer male RMTs because of the pressure, but she was outstanding. Relieved the tense spots, and really spent the time focusing on my many tense areas. Clean, cute, rooms and atmosphere, would definitely come again next time I am in Vancouver!

I just started going to this place and so far have had a chiro treatment and acupuncture. I like it there so much that I'm going to try out the Physio and massage they offer. Nice to have a location with so many services instead of running here and there to different locations for various treatments. Such a warm and cute place and friendly therapists. Only downfall is the lack of parking- a bit of a pain to get to in that sense.

Just had my first RMT session with Stephanie today. She was great! Really friendly and informative, and went over a few ways to help strengthen my shoulder. She also suggested physiotherapy to help protect re-injury and I'm always a fan of people who understand the value of different disciplines. The decor is warm and welcoming and my right arm feels so much better after my session! Also the online booking system is super convenient.

I went in for acupuncture and couldn't have been more impressed. My acupuncturist Leonie was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. It was my first time getting acupuncture and Leonie made me feel very comfortable. She explained everything very clearly and answered all my questions. She gave me so much valueable information about whole body health and gave me some great take-home tips. The acupuncture itself was great! I didn't really know what to expect going in, but I was pleasantly surpised. Leonie made sure to check in with me a number of times during the session to make sure I was comfrotable, warm enough, etc. Overall I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be going back! The studio itself is lovely and I cannot say enough good things about Leonie!

Upon entry to the clinic, the decor and environment felt warm and inviting. Front end staff and therapists were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I had a great massage with the owner, Jessica F. Will definitely be returning.

Jessica F is an amazing RMT and I heard that the acupuncture is phenomenal. I would definatley recommend anyone who's looking for an RMT or Accupuncturist to give them a try.

A great new clinic in East Van! The interior is decorated in a neat industrial-meets-vintage style. Very friendly staff (pretty much all female and on the younger end of the age spectrum). I had an awesome massage from Jessica Hutson and will definitely go back!

I followed Jessica Farrow from her old place of employment to Honey + Garlic even though H + G is farther away from my home because Jessica does such an amazing job. Her new place is clean and I love the way she's designed the space. She is very invested in my health and overall wellness and I know that when I get a massage from her I'll feel better than when I came in. I would recommend Jessica as an RMT and Honey + Garlic as a health studio to anyone!!
