Great experience as always. You can really tell how much thought and effort goes into the menu — everything feels intentional and well executed. The wine pairing is brilliant and adds so much to the overall experience. The only feedback I’d share is around the ventilation on one side of the space — it would be amazing if it could be improved so that clothing in the coat room doesn’t pick up lingering food smells. Overall, we’ll absolutely be back!!

We made a reservation for this year’s Valentine’s Day dinner and opted for the 8-course menu, which left us thoroughly satisfied. A highlight of the evening was the wagyu Denver carpaccio, which we especially enjoyed. The cod dish was well prepared, though the sauce was slightly heavier than our preference, likely due to the richness of the beef tallow. For the main course, we had anticipated the 60-day dry-aged wagyu beef as indicated, but were instead served a regular beef steak cut. Throughout the meal, we appreciated the thoughtfully curated accompaniments, including palate-cleansing bites such as a raspberry ice cream hors d’oeuvre, as well as the breads and bonbons served between courses. Upon arrival, we checked in about 10 minutes prior to our reservation and were seated approximately 20 minutes later. There was also a delay before our drink order was taken and served, and one of the drinks initially delivered was not what we had ordered. Additionally, we noticed that some tables seated after us received their courses ahead of ours. That said, we understand that Valentine’s Day is an exceptionally busy evening for restaurants, and the minor service delays may have been due to the high volume of guests. Overall, we still had a very enjoyable experience, left satisfied, and look forward to returning to try the à la carte menu in the future.

I had the pleasure of dining here tonight and loved the experience. The atmosphere felt relaxed and allowed for a very enjoyable slow dining experience. The service was attentive, warm, and welcoming. I appreciated their attention to detail while explaining each course. The food was divine and each bite was heaven.

Incredible food! All food here is local and seasonal. It takes longer to reach the table as everything is made fresh. We had the bison carpaccio as a starter , squash salad and then a denver steak with potatoe gnocchi and smoked brisket ragout. We also added the sunchokes as a side. They we SO good! Pricey but fair.

This restaurant was the highlight of my visit and was so incredibly delicious. True farm to table with outstanding quality. Staff is very friendly giving excellent service. Truly unique and creative dishes, including my new fav Alpine cheese ice cream. Elk was the best I have ever tasted. An original place with a dedicated team and warm environment.

Great service. They are attentive and clean even the smallest of crumbs. The tartar does not stand out. The scotch egg was good. Most importantly the 6oz top sirloin (medium rare) was *tough*. It was a very big let down and was suppose to be the highlight because I was excited to try “Alberta beef”. Unfortunately, for such a well known restaurant.. I wouldn’t recommend to my friends.

One of the best steak house I have ever been to. Ordered ribeye for means, egg plant salad for appetizer. The ribeye was so juicy and soft. Appetizer was done in a very creative way.

Michelin quality food for top tier high street prices. We absolutely loved it and fairly shed a tear at the thought we will never eat here again. Simply faultless. We ate a là carte and had the elk, bison, chocolate Swiss roll and cherry ice cream, as well as two wonderful glasses of Canadian red wine.
