"When Alberta-born chef Blair Lebsack and wife, Caitlin Fulton, opened the 60-seat farm-to-table RGE RD in 2013, they were first in Edmonton to proffer nose-to-tail dining with all its requisite sustainable, seasonal and hyper-local descriptors. The menu offers generous portions of flat iron bison steak, coriander-spiced pork loin and smoked pork belly, all roasted in one of two wood-burning ovens, and matching wonderfully with a Canadian-centric beer-and-wine list."

I had the pleasure of dining here tonight and loved the experience. The atmosphere felt relaxed and allowed for a very enjoyable slow dining experience. The service was attentive, warm, and welcoming. I appreciated their attention to detail while explaining each course. The food was divine and each bite was heaven.

This restaurant was the highlight of my visit and was so incredibly delicious. True farm to table with outstanding quality. Staff is very friendly giving excellent service. Truly unique and creative dishes, including my new fav Alpine cheese ice cream. Elk was the best I have ever tasted. An original place with a dedicated team and warm environment.

Great service. They are attentive and clean even the smallest of crumbs. The tartar does not stand out. The scotch egg was good. Most importantly the 6oz top sirloin (medium rare) was *tough*. It was a very big let down and was suppose to be the highlight because I was excited to try “Alberta beef”. Unfortunately, for such a well known restaurant.. I wouldn’t recommend to my friends.

Amazing experience! Our server, Rob, was excellent — friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great menu recommendations. The food and drink options were impressive, and the espresso martini was one of the best we’ve ever had. We love that they focus on high-quality, locally sourced beef and ingredients — definitely our kind of place. Don’t miss the pierogies, and the steak with beef marrow butter potatoes was absolutely outstanding.

Michelin quality food for top tier high street prices. We absolutely loved it and fairly shed a tear at the thought we will never eat here again. Simply faultless. We ate a là carte and had the elk, bison, chocolate Swiss roll and cherry ice cream, as well as two wonderful glasses of Canadian red wine.

Went here for a small staff dinner and we opted to try the tasting menu. Definitely one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve had in a while and the service was fantastic. While the food was good, it didn’t blow me away. Overall, the food was quite delicious but I felt that some courses were better than others and the way the tasting menu was presented didn’t always make sense. I will say that they are definitely good at what they do, since the steak was the best part of the menu and if I were to come back for one thing it would be the steak.

By far the best put together 6 course meal of all time. We got to try two brand new dishes that were as amazing as the rest of our dinner. Serving staff were awesome and walked us through course highlights like how each course was made and by whom, special ingredients and techniques used, and they certainly seemed to enjoy their job. It was fun to watch other patrons as they tasted courses that we had tried 15 mins earlier. Very friendly crowd and I can't wait to return to try something new again!!

I ate elk here for the first time in my life. I really liked it. It went very well with my mushroom fricassee. The white miso purée was barely warm, but nobody's perfect. Without that, I would have given it a 5. Nobody brought me my coat from the cloakroom or said goodbye to me, but I'm nitpicking. The table service was friendly.
