Bahn mi? Yes please! Fresh baked bread, crisp veggies and delicious grilled meats... count me in every single time! Order and go spot with all kinds of treats but the line is for the bahn mi sandwiches and drinks. The mixed Thai drink is packed with delicious jelly and young coconut in a perfectly semi-sweet creamy drink.... get one! There are lots of meat options but we went with grilled pork and grilled beef and neither disappointed. Will we be back, absolutely!

Haven't been there for a while (long distance) but i love that family. Especially the mother. The queen. She talked to me today (purple hair) and i think she is so beautiful in and out. She works so hard along with her sons and daughters in law. Yet she's so courtesy and super bice. I love her Chào lòng. But be awared. She's super nice but don't mess with her. Lol. She's 1 tough cookie. I normally dont leave review but I got to do this one. Excellent foodi.

Very solid sized banh mi for the price, was happy with the product until I got to the bottom and I was eating straight pork fat. I get that the pork belly is savory but this amount of fat is completely unacceptable. I will be back to get the bbq pork version to potentially update this review. I really liked this spot, but I am extremely disappointed at the lack of meat in what I ordered.

This is my fave banh mi in Denver. They consistently load it with all the goodies and the bread is baked in house. I always order the traditional banh mi sandwich with pate! That's just the way I like it!

5/5, Favorite banh mi to date. I’ve tried more than enough Vietnamese shops from coast to coast and this is a gem. I got the grilled beef with pate and it was fking fire. Let alone the flavor, the portion I got was huge for $8.50. They also were super friendly and gave me local recommendations. Wouldnt recommend walking here but they have plenty of parking.

Love their Banh Mi! Especially the grilled pork (no. 13) one. The sandwich is always big and full of flavor. They also sell other Vietnamese lunch dishes if you want to try something different.

No better Vietnamese food. This place is Outstanding with their sandwiches and food. We are from Chicago and decided to stop by. One of the biggest Banh Mi I've ever seen for the price. We are looking at how we can make it back before we leave. Only minor complaint is that you can't eat inside.

Out of all the places I've tried, I'm convinced this place has the best banh mi bread in Denver. It's not too crumbly or hard, it's perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And if you eat a lot of banh mi, you know the bread is just as important as the filling! While they have ample choices for banh mi, they also offer a large variety of take home dishes and traditional Vietnamese snacks or desserts. Some of their stuff can be on the pricier side, but the flavor for their dishes never misses. I'd highly recommend this place for all your banh mi needs since this is my favorite place for banh mi in all of Denver!

My usual banh mi place was out of town for vacation so we had to get banh mi at New Saigon as a detour. I don't know - maybe we came on an off day but the food was just okay. I had a pate banh mi and while it was good, it felt like something was missing. The pate chaud was big in size but the stuffing was off for me compared to Bakers Palace. The best thing we got was the Banh It Tran or sticky rice dumplings. It had a lot of flavor and came with a nice amount of fish sauce.

Took the trek in the negative 3 degree weather to try a banh mi sandwich and yes, an iced Vietnamese coffee. (The strong yet subtle sweetness of the coffee warmed my soul.) SO worth it! Service was friendly and super helpful. Couldn't wait to bite into our BBQ pork banh mi. Unfortunately, there is no dine-in but that didn't deter my friend and I from turning on the heat in the car and eating in the parking lot. An Ode to My Banh Mi - Your first delight is the loud crisp of the bread as you take your initial bite. Then you get punched in the face with the many flavors of the pickled vegetables. The sweet bbq slowly begins to enter into the mix. Not to be ignored. The thin slices of peppers make sure to get jalapeño face. (May have bought 2 sandwiches in case I can't leave my house due to cold weather.)

This place was the best banh mi I've ever had in the whole US over 5 years ago. I came back this year and was a bit disappointed in the amount of grilled pork in my banh mi thit nuong but the baguette was really good. This is not a sit down restaurant, so expect to go. They have a huge selection of other Vietnamese bakeries and drinks like soy milk, che, etc. they also have boba but it was okay. The banh mi was the best. Service is super fast and they have a numbering system.

I go back time and time again for their combination banh mi, springs rolls, and pate chaud pastries! Their spread of ready to eat meals is always stunning as well!

If you want a good Bahn Mi in Colorado, this is my go to place. I am here probably once or twice a month. Their grilled chicken, grilled pork, grilled beef banhmi is 10/10 (I believe it's their number 12, 13, 14- something around there). I've been to every Bahnmi sandwhich shop in Denver, and I always regret not going to New Saigon Bakery. Outside of their Bahn Mi's their dishes they have available are flavorful and delicious. I get their cat fish, or vietnamese chicken wings, or quail.

I love this place! Their Banh Mi is sooooo delicious. I love fresh bread. This place feels like home. The food is made with so much love. There's so many options. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. Great place for lunch. There is no seating. The service is quick and fast. Beware during the weekends there are long lines but so worth it!

Not to be confused with neighboring New Saigon restaurant, this bakery and deli is about as good as it gets in Denver metro area for banh mi. We been to just about every banh mi shop in Denver, so save yourself the sometimes disappointing journey and just come here. They don't skimp on the filling, which is always fresh and high quality here, and the bread is quite good. Area is kind of run down, and parking lot is kind of jacked up, but it is what it is. Inside is nice, organized, and clean. Ordering and pickup was a breeze, and service was relatively quick. They do have other stuff that's not banh mi, but I only get banh mi from here. So I can't comment on their other stuff, but I cannot stop eating the banh mi here.

Solid bakery branch off from the restaurant. I've gotten their banh mi and coffee a few times and never disappoint. The size of the sandwich and quality for the price is fantastic.

Best Banh Mi in Denver that I have found to date. Just get extra meat as they can be a bit bready otherwise. BUT, the bread is fabulous. I've Gotten their noodle bowl to go as well. Everything there is excellent. Worth the drive all the way across town.

New Saigon Bakery & Deli specializes in bahn mi, which is a Vietnamese sandwich on a baguette. They also have drinks and prepared foods. This is a take-out only. No dine-in. I got the #1 Combination bahn mi, which is their cold cut sandwich filled with pate, ham, pork belly, and steamed pork, and topped with cilantro and pickled veggies. It was huge! The sandwich was so delicious and tasty. It's probably the best bahn mi I've had. I also got a pork chaud. It is a flaky pastry with pork inside. I thought this was okay. Everything else they had on display looked really tasty. I hope to return to try it all. This is a take-out only. No dine-in. It seems like a pretty popular place. There was a long line when I showed up, but the line went by fast.

Local vietnamese bakery with no current dine in. Fast and amazing service! I highly recommend this bakery for the best bhanmi in Denver. I always ask for extra aioli sauce. Their bhanmi portion maybe larger size so you may not be able to finish in one serving or you may want to take extra and keep it in refrigerator. I recommend requesting the veggies/pickles on side so the bhanmi can last longer in refrigerator and to eat later after microwave and lightly toasting it in toaster over or airfryer.

What a breath of fresh air after visiting a nearby poorly run Chinese supermarket. Pleasant aromas at the parking lot and every worker was smiling and appreciative. I had the lemongrass beef banh mi. I also ordered a bean jelly dessert drink, #3?, and a banana leaf wrapped with rice and meat. The clerk was pleasant as I inquired about the radiant offerings on the counter and display case. They are launching a new business with a slant towards dessert (Pho and Butter?). This deli had multiple desserts, rice noodle bowls, quail, shrimp, etc. I wanted to buy more but I was loaded with groceries. No seating so plan to take out unless you go to their attached restaurant next door. The Yelp GPS takes you a block early onto a one way street in the wrong direction. Good size corner parking lot if you are driving the right direction. I wouldn't be surprised if I raise my review after trying some of their other items. If I had to be hyper picky the banh mi was a little too doughy and the meat a tad sweet, but I enjoyed it and it was a generous portion. For a Sunday at 1PM, I only waited about five minutes as the sandwiches are made to order.

Great quick grab-n-go spot for Vietnamese food! The moment you walk inside, you know for sure this is an authentic Vietnamese place. I randomly stumbled upon this place when trying to look for a quick place to grab food in the area. I ordered the dac biet (special combination) banh mi from here. The sandwich is HUGE. The price is more compared to how much I'd pay for banh mi in Houston, but for the size that you get, it's honestly worth your money. This is one of the biggest banh mi's I've ever had. Way better than the ones I've had in Houston. It was so good. It has everything that you would expect in the typical cold cut combination banh mi. My only complaint is that I did wish it had a bit more pate in it. I honestly couldn't even finish all of it in one sitting. I was only able to eat half of it at a time. I also tried their ca phe sua da, and it was so good and strong. Perfect for a morning pick-me-up. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and will be coming back! They have so many other Vietnamese food options here, but I was only able to try these at this time. It's attached to its restaurant, which I wished I got to try, but I didn't get a chance to. I will definitely have to try the restaurant next time I'm in Denver.

New Saigon has the best banh mi's in Denver. For a reasonable price of $8 (before tax) they offer a good-sized banh mi sandwiches filled with delicious toppings. Highly recommend grilled beef if you're not too adventurous of the various meats that they offer. Also, don't forget to get your Vietnamese coffee if you're needing a "pick me up".

My boyfriend and I were visiting Denver for a snowboarding trip. I an so glad I found this place. It reminds me of the ones I used to go to in LA as a child. They have a ton of food and desserts in refrigerators, on the counters, and in their warmer. Everything is fairly priced. We ordered two sandwiches and they were huge like enough to feed 2 people. I was excited to try the nem nuong cuon (grilled pork sausage spring rolls), because you can't find it at many Vietnamese restaurants. I was not disappointed here and this will be a regular spot for when I visit. One warning is be cautious driving in the parking lot, because of all the broken glass.

I got the bbq beef banh mi and it was good for the price especially since not a lot of places sell banh mi. Really glad to have found a banh mi place after moving here from California where we have so many options for different cuisines. Will definitely be back!

Pros: lots of different Vietnamese treats and ingredients to pick up! I love sesame balls with the bean filling. Only $1. Very reasonable prices. The BEST Vietnamese ice coffee, you have to get it! I will be back to try new sandwiches and treats. The bread was perfect on my Bahn-mi. There's a little taco trailer in the parking lot called three amigos? Tacos? It was a cute logo. Idk but might try them too. Cons: I f'd up and got rotisserie chicken Bahn-mi and the meat was gamy and not the best. I will get grilled chicken next time. Parking here is very hard to get to if you're turning in going south . There was a neighborhood road closed behind it. The restaurant and bakery are attached to an auto parts place. Limited parking in the front. This place is busy on a Saturday afternoon so expect to wait for your bahn-mi, it is worth it!

I had one of the pork bahn mi's and it was fantastic. The pork was flavorful, the bread was fresh, the proportions were perfect. I even got two meals out of one of the bahn mi's.

We were trying to figure out why the line consistently wrapped around the Bakery because it couldn't have been THAT good, right?! Wrong. This New Saigon Bakery and Deli was the exception to any average Vietnamese fast food or take out joint I have been to. Everything is for order to take out as there are no tables for dine in, but what's fascinating is the number of options one could find here. I mean, they have almost everything. From Vegan Vietnamese Sandwiches (Banh Mi) mimicking the traditional Cold Cut Combo (soooo good, BTW) to the number of hot food options you could take with you to your next large gathering -- this is a great stop for anyone looking for a quick Banh Mix fix or party tray order. If I lived or worked in the area, this place would be in my top 3 for a lunch pickup. Service is good and they moved guests through the line pretty quickly. Bread for their Banh Mi is so fresh and fluffy. Very addicting.

This is my favorite place in all of Denver to get a banh mi. I travel from Aurora to get this sandwich all the time. Their bread is great, great flavors, love the size for the price, and they are always quick and friendly. They do run out though so make sure you get there early! It's a small family owned bakery and have many other items there to get. Coffee, treats, other deli items. There isn't anywhere to sit inside. So be aware of that. Their next door pho restaurant is awesome too ! Just know that if you eat at the pho restaurant you can't order a banh mi. You have to go to the bakery. I love this place !

I ordered the dac biet (combination) banh mi here and wow is it good. The wait can be a little on the longer side but that is because they prepare everything to order. Everything from the bread which is a French baguette to the cilantro is all delicious. They also have a large selection of food like packaged snacks, pork buns, and boba.

The food is delicious and decently priced. I think their banh mi are cheaper than other places but tastier. The noodle bowl/plate is also so flavorful. There isn't seating inside to really eat so everything is packaged for to-go.

Banh Mi, Banh you, whatever it is, these sandwiches are straight deliciousness. As a Denver newb, I decided to drive down Federal to find a local hidden gem. I discovered a plethora of Vietnamese and Mexican restaurants that peaked my interest, rather my appetite. Trust me, it's worth driving through the heavy construction to get here. The traditional Vietnamese bakery is very clean and well kept. There were so many items and a lot of sweets that could distract you for days. Luckily, I knew I was in the mood for a Banh Mi. And you should be, too. There are 16 Banh Mi's on the menu. Say, what?! How the heck are you supposed to narrow it down? I had never seen Char Siu Pork inside of a Banh Mi before, so I knew I had finally made my decision. (#6) Char Siu Pork Banh Mi - number six on the menu board, but number one in my heart. Wow, this was up there with one of the top Banh Mi's I've consumed. For $5, they're practically giving this stuff away! Savory, crispy, juicy. Good lawdy, I could go on and on. The bread was absolutely perfect, the meat moist, and the daikon balanced the entire sandwich out with its light acidity. I'm making myself drool all over again. The prices are bonkers, the people are nice, and experience was painless. Although this venture is newer, they've been major players in the local dining scene for decades. Now I can see why. Check 'em out!

When you come in this place, you might be overwhelmed by all the food everywhere. It is just like any other bahn mi bakery place. Trust me when I say, you should try some of the other food items beside the delicious bahn mi. The spring rolls, boba, Vietnamese coffee, shrimp chips, siopao are just some of the other great items to check out along with the premade meals. Every time I'm in the area, I have to stop by and get stuff to eat and or drink. Just wish they still made cakes too.

This is the one and only place to get a perfect and delicious bánh mì. It's such a simple treat that so many places can't seem to get right, but New Saigon hits it out of the park every time. The service is friendly and speedy and the variety is huge. My go to is the heo quay bánh mì - roasted pork belly. The bread is perfectly crusty, veggies are crisp, fish sauce always great. If you've never been, you're missing out!

While living in Houston, banh mi was a staple for lunch. I'm talking at least twice per week - every week - for 4 years straight. The mighty Roostar on South Gessner was my supplier, and that unassuming little restaurant really set the standard for me in terms of how to gauge great banh mi from the rest: 1) The sandwich bread MUST be baked in-house. 2) Sandwich fillings should be generous, flavorful, and well-prepared. Furthermore, there should be a variety of filling options to choose from. 3) It should be inexpensive. I've had banh mi several times since relocating to Denver, with mixed results. Without a doubt, my short list of three pre-reqs for great banh mi had not been met here and I was slowly starting to give up hope - until today. New Saigon is the real deal; believe the hype. Their fresh-baked bread is the perfect balance of crusty and chewy (I should also add, the sandwiches are MASSIVE compared to your standard fare). Filling options run the spectrum from pork, to chicken, to beef, to shrimp, to veggie, to vegan (with vegan cold cuts, no less)... just to name a few. No sacrifices made by me or my wife in our respective orders - plenty of selection to suit pretty much any dietary restrictions with an end result of a large, delicious sandwich to devour. I ordered two sandwiches out of habit - the 14 and 15 (beef and chicken, respectively). No need for two here - the chicken sandwich on its own was plenty to fill me up, and then some. I'm used to spooning some hot chili oil on my banh mi and didn't see any on offer at the restaurant - a little Trader Joe's Chili Onion Oil added on once I got home did the trick. The chicken itself was marinated and cooked perfectly, and the traditional toppings were piled on in the correct ratio. And finally: the price. With sandwich prices averaging $6.00 to $6.50, the price is definitely RIGHT. That familiar post-meal regret I've experienced from eating banh mi at other places where the tab came in at $15.00 for one sandwich certainly didn't happen here. Pre-req #3 satisfied! A few other quick tidbits: I had read about the length of the line in other reviews and was not looking forward to having to wait. My wife and I decided to try the early route and rolled up at 10:45 am on a Wednesday and were literally the only people in the bakery - we walked right up, placed our order, and were on our way back home about 5 minutes later. So... the lunch rush can be beat, apparently. Another thing worth noting is that they do have a large-ish parking lot, so no worries about trying to find parking on busy Federal. Lastly, the other reviews also make a point to highlight how friendly and helpful the staff is here - our experience was 100% the same. New Saigon is definitely not a "hidden" gem in Denver, but it's a gem nonetheless. Looking forward to many visits here for amazing, affordable banh mi in the future...

Brought over100n food asked for a bowl and wanted to charge me$1 seriously what happen to customer service

This is definitely a solid bahn mi shop as there are several variations of the bahn mi. I also loved that they offered various different foods and lunch boxed Togo. Something that I really enjoyed here was the spring rolls. It is tightly packed I hate it when you bite into a roll and everything falls apart. They don't give you the typical peanut sauce instead you get a housin sauce which I loved. The sticky rice with Chinese sausage and chicken and dried shrimp was ok, I probably wouldn't get it again as the chicken was overly dry. The rice noodle plate was ok as the meat was a little dry for my liking. I will definitely come back for the bahn mi though!!!!

This is my go to place for banh mi. The people are super friendly and the variety of sandwiches is huge! Prices are very reasonable. I'm always order a bunch of sandwiches to go so I can enjoy them later. Come here if you want a true Vietnamese banh mi experience. If you've never had a banh mi and love American subs/sandwiches, you are missing out for real! These are toasted and the meats are so much more flavorful! Try a Vietnamese coffee or Chè (fruity sweet drink with jelly) to complete your cafe experience.

We've been searching for a banh mi place since moving here and thisis this place is legit. I walked in around noon on a Saturday and they have lot of snacks and bakery items. What we swallowed: GRILLED PORK BANH MI: This was a pretty big sandwich (also not cut in half) so get your grippers ready and open wide. The veggies were fresh and the bread is what totally made it: crispy edges and perfectly soft and tender insides. This banh mi was everything a banh mi should be. I'd drive down here just to get this banh mi. It's pretty darn good.

Enjoy Banh Mi? This place makes fantastic Vietnamese sandwiches and a host of other Asian foods. So good! If you get there and don't know what to order, the #13 Sandwich is very popular and my fave so far. Their service is friendly and fast while you wait. Try the take home spring rolls and any of the buns, they are so fresh and filled with flavor! I encourage and invite you to give them a visit, just know that you won't find a place to sit unless you go next door to the adjacent partner restaurant. My family gets everything to go.

Make sure to come earlier in the day to get fresh bánh mì sandwiches because they do run out when we went a second time on Sunday at 3:30pm Crispy French bread and fresh grilled meats stuffed makes this an authentic and hard to find Gem of a Vietnamese place. I was very disappointed when i visited this place 2 days ago. The owner was very rude and cocky. I know he's burned out but that shouldn't be my problem. Their food is good but I rather go to another vietnamese hoagies place. Cheaper and a lot nicer.

This is one of the best places to get a fresh yummy banh mi. This is my personal favorite because the meats, veggies, and others are the most fresh and flavorful EVER. This is a must go and is the best stop after a long day of shopping at the nearby Asian store. All in all, this is the best banh mi place I've been too, this is a must go.

I've been here I don't know how many times and I enjoy whatever I get every time. Guess I'm just wanting to wait until I tried every item before leaving a full review. What was I thinking? I obviously love New Saigon Bakery & Deli! Every Banh Mi we've had (and we're grateful they cut the huge sub-like sandwich in half so we can swap and enjoy two flavors in one visit!) is wonderful and leave us wanting more. Other stuff like the long long long long eggrolls are yummy, greasy, crunchy, tasty! The sweet offerings are all desirable as well. I remember when they made birthday cakes, exactly the kind of Asian tiered cakes that are delicate, not-so-sweet, and fragrant. (Note Vietnamese are heavily French-inspired as well, so naturally their baked goods are wonderful!) The different kinds of drinks come in all colors that make up the rainbow! The dine-in area is kept clean but if you want to take your stuff to-go, they got it down to an art. Either pick and choose from the prepackaged goodies or order your stuff to go and they'll wrap it up real nice for you. For the stay-in diners, the shop owners have thoughtfully left jugs of water for customers to consume. But if you're as tall (or as short) as I am, you'll have to get on your toes to get a cup (which always amuses me because most Vietnamese are probably my height too, lol) I find it cute. I wholeheartedly wish to come back here once the COVID-19 Pandemic is under control.

Been looking for a Banh mi shop and there are a lot on this boulevard but this one has sooo much variety of quick grab and go authentic Vietnamese meals, fullest baguette sandwiches, strong coffee and other boba drinks. I. Love. This. Place. Best banhmi around. The bread is fresh, lots of protein inside, fresh veggies and you can add more. My faves are the grilled pork (#13), the tofu one, and the shrimp one. So filling and delicious. I've had the vegan one too and it was o-k but I thought it had too much mayo substitute. Today I also got one of the entrees to go, lemongrass shrimp I think?? 10 huge shrimps, super flavorful with garlic, pepper, lemongrass, onion, and a spicy (but not too spicy) chili oil. Lots of snacks, desserts, ready-made dishes, boba, slushes, and coffee too. It's a hike from where I live but totally worth the drive!

Wow how have I not written a review for New Saigon Bakery & Deli yet... this place is on the top of my Denver must-eat list. First, the bahn mi. Amazing. The bread is a fresh baguette that they bake each day (PRO TIP: come sooner than later, because once they run out of bread they stop making sandwiches). The veggies are fresh as heck and the meat is always seasoned and cooked perfectly. Not to mention it's ONLY $5! Second, the boba is a perfect addition to your meal. Any flavor is great, but I usually opt for the Thai tea. Lastly, don't miss out on the spring rolls, rice puddings, or other dishes they sell... so fresh and so freaking good. Great people, great food, amazing prices... make New Saigon your next lunch stop - you won't regret it.
