"Nature is the headline act at Fivelements, a riverside wellness retreat, right down to its all-natural homemade spa products. When in Bali, where better to boost your health than a thatched-roof bamboo paradise where gently piped Indonesian music and the whoosh of a river below merge with jungle life? There’s no booze and no smoking—the emphasis is on wellbeing—and if you’re someone who finds dieting or abstinence a challenge, you might want to sit this one out." - Juliet Kinsman

Dear Sakti Dining Room team, I recently visited your restaurant and truly enjoyed the experience — the place is clean, unique, and has such a charming concept. I really love that you offer so many interesting tea varieties. However, I was a bit disappointed that many of them were not available during my visit. I’ve also heard that you’re planning to create more tea selections made from natural ingredients with wonderful health benefits — that sounds amazing! I hope the project is already in progress so I can try them when I visit again in early November. In addition, I’d like to suggest being more consistent with your menu of the day. As far as I know, it usually includes dessert and soup, but when I asked about the dessert, I received different answers — one staff member mentioned layered cake, while another said banana cake. The same goes for the ice cream and sorbet flavors, which seemed unclear and inconsistent. A bit more coordination on this would definitely enhance the overall experience. Lastly, I’d recommend adding some kind of air freshener or scent solution around the dining area, as the pond nearby had a slightly fishy smell that reached my table. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there, and I’m looking forward to coming back in early November — hopefully with more tea options and an even better dining atmosphere.

I participated in a 7-night retreat that was truly transformative. There was great care and attention to detail in planning my itinerary, and it was based on my retreat goals. During my stay, one of the staff even thoughtfully suggested I replace one of my treatments with a service that would further support me in my healing journey, and I accepted the recommendation. All of the staff, from the front desk, to the healers, groundskeepers, and restaurant, were all very kind and friendly. I'm not a vegetarian. But I LOVED the menu. The flavor profile and diversity of food options was very impressive. I soon developed my favorites that I re-ordered and branched out to try new dishes as well. The chefs truly did an amazing job and should be commended. I can't say enough about how the natural environment, healing services, and staff all worked together to provide the healing, restorative experience I truly needed. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for helping me restore my internal light.

We recently stayed at Five Elements for six nights and it was truly a magical experience. The food and service were absolutely outstanding — every meal was a delight, and the entire atmosphere of the retreat promotes total relaxation. The staff were exceptional, especially Nita and Rita, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference. Thank you again for such a memorable and rejuvenating experience. We can’t wait to return!

From the minute I walked into Fivelements Retreat, I knew I had made the right decision to spend 3 nights there to integrate after a pilgrimage the week before. Ketut (my wellness consultant) was brilliant at finalising my wellness package and every treatment I had was world class. I joined yoga on the 3 mornings I was there, had a sound bath healing session, reflexology, acupuncture, chakra cleanse, fire ceremony, healing massage and water healing. All of it culminating in a deep reset and rebirth - exactly what I hoped for. I was upgraded to a suite with its own private pool, outdoor bath and shower - heavenly! The food was magnificent with so much attention to detail and all of the waitering staff plus the therapists had been briefed that I was on a low sugar plan. The attention to detail was great and all of the staff I came into contact with, were friendly and helpful. Most of the therapists have been with Fivelements since it opened 15 years ago, are happy to work there and are mindful and professional in everything they do. All in all, I highly rate this beautiful retreat and if you have the opportunity to stay there, grab it with both hands.

Life-changing water healing experience with exceptional staff! Fivelements delivered the most transformative wellness experience of my life. From the moment I arrived at the Fivelements Healing & Wellness Village, Yuman provided exceptional guidance and care that set the tone for the entire visit. His warm hospitality and deep knowledge of the healing practices made me feel completely at ease. The water healing session was unlike anything I've ever encountered - it recreated the peaceful security of in-utero movement, leaving me feeling euphoric and deeply renewed. The morning yoga with Yogi was exceptional - his soft-spoken, intuitive teaching style perfectly complemented the sacred riverside setting. Yuman's attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly elevated the entire experience. The chemical-free lunch using their own organic ingredients was nourishing and delicious, and the staff's commitment to authentic healing shines through every interaction. Every detail reflects their dedication to genuine transformation. This isn't just another spa resort - it's a profound journey of renewal guided by exceptional people like Yuman and Yogi. Absolutely essential for anyone seeking genuine transformation in Bali. Thank you

I want to be honest, I stayed here for 3 days and paid quite a lot because I took the package, with a nice room and spa. However, the restaurant made me feel uncomfortable. As someone who really cares about cleanliness, I saw the waitress cleaning the tables only with a cloth, not using any soap, disinfectant, or spray, so my table smelled quite bad. My placemat was dirty, the napkin they gave me was not good either, mine even had lipstick stains. I don’t know if this is important or not, but the restaurant was not tidy. Some tables had proper silverware set up, while others were messy or even empty. Even the napkins had different colors, which didn’t look neat. I’m sorry, but since I also work in a hotel, I pay attention to these details. The staff’s English was very poor, even for very basic conversations. The concept of the restaurant is unique and nice, but the service was not satisfying, and they were unhygienic. I came for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, and during lunch the glass on my table was dirty, with white stains on it. Because of that, I never drank the water they provided. That’s all, thank you.

I attended one day five elements signature program yesterday with my friend. The area is beautiful and my first massage was great. I would probably give 5 stars if I finished then. But right after, we had another session - identical massage (except they skipped feet scrub) followed by facial, done by a different therapist that was rather irritating than relaxing with fast and superficial movements, head massage was really bad. All together we were on the table over 4 hrs back to back. We both left with headache and backache, definitely not relaxed. We were told that we agreed to this plan but to one advised us what it was. I had no idea that balise ceremony is massage and facial. I imagined it was some holistic cultural ceremony. No one guided us in our choices. They advertise signature day and that is what we had. 2 whole body 90 min massages back to back immediately followed by less than average facial. |Frustrating, not relaxing, we wasted a day and came back in pain. Fire ceremony was interesting at the end.
