Bún Chả cá Ông Tạ

I was just wandering around, starving, and I ended up in this place. I first went to the cafe across the street but they didn't have any food, so I went here instead. It doesn't look like much, but the soups is yummy, the noodles aren't soggy and just right, and the fish cakes were really good! I also liked there pickled carrots and onions.

First stop in Da Nang and I landed here, and must I tell you I was completely surprised at the delicious noodle soup that was served, the flavors so wholesome and satisfying, this spot is an absolute must try.

The seafood flavored noodles here were absolutely delicious! My generous bowl was filled with scrumptious fish cakes and a variety of fresh herbs, and the flavor was outstanding. While I enjoyed most ingredients, there was a bit more bamboo than I prefer. However, this did not detract from how much I enjoyed the overall tastes of the broth. If you're looking for an authentic, affordable Vietnamese fish noodle soup, I highly recommend stopping at this joint.

We came here as this was highly recommended on google. We were enjoying our noodle until seeing 2 rats running around the kitchen area. Staff saw the rat but they didn't do anything.

Beautiful noodle soup. Love the soup itself and the fish cake was made fresh daily. Would recommend to add more garlic crush with chili for better tast.

I visited on Nov. 2019. Famous but still local. Soup, rice noodle, fish cake, different type of herbs and lime / pickles / hot sause on the table make the dish into complicated harmony and fantastic taste! Rice noodle is really healthy, also. They serve Bun cha ca only, I suppose. Just a difference in sizes. Small size@25,000VND is quite enough amount for me (typical Japanese in 30s year old.)

Delicious ! Went there for dinner and the place was filled with locals. The fishcakes tastes so good, you could taste the real fish meat in there and less of flour. Cheap, value for money and fast.

It did not knock us off our feet but it’s good. We followed a recommendation from our hotel. So it was nice to have that effort taken off of us. We were the only guests at that time so everything was super fast. There are plenty of options to spice up your meal on the table, which we did and did not regret. Staff is friendly and finger pointing on the menu did the trick (as almost always). Value for price is really good here!
