I absolutely love this hotel. One of my favorites in the world. In short, stay here! Staff is lovely, rooms comfy and super clean, excellent soundproofing, wifi fast and reliable for work, location is probably the best in Paris. Elevator! Unlimited amazing chocolates!

I booked a last minute trip to Paris to visit a friend, and since it was a couple weeks before Christmas, a ton of hotels were booked or had random dates available here and there. I still needed to book some days and was walking down the street and noticed a random dark doorway with flames on the sides (in the daytime) and thought it was a club or something lol so I went to check it out. That is how I found the place. I of course checked reviews online and then booked it later.
Staff is amazing. So warm, friendly, kind, and welcoming. I’ve stayed at other boutique hotels and places like the Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental, and the service was great but it was always straightforward and professional (like any warmth was from their training). Here it felt like I was staying with a friend’s wonderful family (who also carried my million bags around for me when I changed rooms). As you can probably tell, I’m a last minute person and had a lot of stuff with me, so I made it to breakfast with 5 minutes to spare- they kept it open like 30 mins after closing for me and even made drinks and omelettes to make sure I could eat everything I wanted.
Now about the rooms: awesome. I will say first that despite being right off of a busy street, their windows are absolutely soundproof. Like I stood like 2 inches from the glass to check, it was super impressive. The rooms were also better than in the photos and absolutely spotless. I have a bad back, and the beds were super comfortable and big. WiFi was strong and good enough for working. Water pressure was great, no weird temperature changes, and toilet had a strong flush lol if you care about that.
The rooms were also intuitively designed and felt brand new. I stayed in the Cosy room the first night (because it was the cheapest lol) which is on the small side but typical of other Paris hotel rooms (had to use a side table as a desk to work, but they had stools that perfectly fit so I felt like they thought that through). Bathroom was a totally normal size. I had one large suitcase that could fit a human body, a larger carry on roller, a duffel bag about the same size as the carry on, and maybe 2-3 shopping bags full of stuff and was able to open everything at the same time and move around the room (and I’m not the kind of person who puts suitcases on the bed).
I booked the same room a couple nights later, there was a gap in my stay just because of availability since I booked maybe 3 days before my first night. They kept my giant bags in their luggage storage during the gap in the stay, which honestly was amazing because by then my big bag had to have been 100lbs and had the density of the sun. They also offered to keep me informed if a room became available for the gap. Without me even asking, they had blocked that room for me to book when it became available and offered a discount (I was already staying with a friend for those days but I thought that was really considerate).
When I came back for my last night’s stay after the gap, amazingly they had upgraded me to the biggest room for free! This room was insane, I think it was the biggest room I’ve stayed at in a hotel anywhere. The room had its own hallway, living room sitting area, two normal-sized desks, a bar area, even fresh flowers. Bathroom was huge and had a bathtub separate from the shower.
The location is also the best. I’ve stayed in multiple areas in Paris over the years and different spots in Le Marais and this exact spot is hands down the best. Can go right downstairs and come across great restaurants, museums, and shops. Many places open late. Close to public transport. As a solo female traveler who has nice stuff I felt safe walking around the streets by myself even at 1am.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Just stay!
