I enjoyed the Peking Duck here. Each piece of meat came with its crispy skin, which was a nice touch. While waiting for the duck to be carved, a staff member shared the origin story of Peking Duck and the restaurant in the dining area, making the experience even more interesting.
Overall, I prefer the taste of Peking Duck at QJD. However, their lotus leaf pancake didn’t quite meet my expectations. I appreciated the subtle lotus leaf fragrance when wrapping the duck, which added a refreshing touch, but I wasn’t a fan of the pancake’s texture. For some reason, it also had a slightly gamey taste that day.
Nevertheless, I’d still be willing to give them another try if I visit Beijing again.
