Nice lunch, busy vibe (very noisy!) Most people younger than us, so maybe aiming at younger customers. Seats not very comfortable! Washrooms not too bad, took me a minute to work out how to shut the door! (Definitely a bit old for this place.)
Seemed clean. Food was nice. Cranberry juice very good.

I came to NOLA as a cook to find some good food and found it here. Get the “Taste Of New Orleans, Baby”! Great prices, wonderfully kind and genuine people. The bartender was even kind enough to talk to me for a little bit and give me some more places to check out locally. Definitely stop in here. Great place.

Just had the best experience at The Channel. Food, drinks and the Oysters were delicious. I was a crawfish virgin and experienced my first boil and it did not disappoint. Looking forward to more fabulous NOLA yummies. Thanks, Melvin! You sure did us right, Chef! 💕

The Firecracker Shrimp Po’ Boy I had here back in May was SO GOOD! The bartender we had was so personable and told so many stories. We stopped in because of the rain, and was surprised by the food and hospitality.

My mother and I had just wrapped up the Hop On Hop Off’s Garden District tour and we stumbled upon this place for lunch. I’m so glad we did because we had an unforgettable firecracker fried shrimp po’ boy!
We loved it so much that we went out of our way to grab lunch here again later on our trip!

Best, low-key Sports/Irish Bar we visited on this trip. Location is fantastic, being in the Irish Channel and away from the craziness of the French Quarter, you'll feel like a local. They also had the best jambalaya and the spicy shrimp po-boy was also fantastic.

The food is amazing! Classic bar food with NO favorites. Every thing is cooked perfectly! Great place to go for the games (huge TVs) or just to hangout with friends.

First time eating here. Love everything. Ask for Melvin and eat the oysters.
