Le Café de Mars

We found this place on Google map in a hurry and that was nice surprise . Sunday ,lunch time - not to busy inside . Food was really nice - pork rips , steak just perfect. Fish very delicate ,perfectly cooked just for me ginger wasn't very noticeable in that dish and I need to add a bit of salt and pepper for more taste.Burger ok but the potatoes were too oily. Friendly and efficient service. Prices OK - especially competing to nearby restaurants . Decor inside - but too simple for me.Could be a bit more cozy.

The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. They also speak very good English, which makes everything easy even if you don’t speak French like me. The food was an amazing surprise: everything was delicious and the prices are really affordable for everyone, which is not so common in Paris. I had a dish with burrata, pears, and hazelnuts that was simply outstanding perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The veggie burger was also fantastic, one of the best I’ve ever had. But the dish that won me over the most was the lentil, turmeric, and coconut soup: truly incredible, flavorful, and super comforting. Highly recommended! 💛

I definetely recommend this place. Food is incredibly tasty and unique. All foods have signature touches. Steak is being marinated for 72 hours. Mushrom bread starter was also amazing. Servers are polite and they are very good at their job

Recommended by our tour guide. We ate the Sweet Potato & Curry Soup, Lamb Tagine, Broccoli Couscous & Herb Salad, Bacon Cheeseburger & New Potatoes, "Drunken Dragon" Beef Onglet Steak with Mashed Potatoes & Shiitake Mushrooms, and Salted Caramel & Walnut Tart with Crème Fraîche. Solid recommendation!

Had a lovely lunch here, served by really friendly staffs. The food was amazing, especially the steak. Was lucky to meet the cat that just came back from a walk outside.

We didn't have a reservation and they were all booked. The bartenders didn't turn us away and gave us a seat at the bar. We loved the food here. We tried the fish and the steak. They were delicious. I also recommend the cheesecake. The crust was the best part. The staff were really kind and helpful. We enjoyed the small chat with the bartenders.

Small and uncomfortable tables, with barely enough space to eat properly. The food was far below expectations, especially for the price — the value for money was terrible. The waiter got our order wrong three times and showed no attention or friendliness at all. The desserts were also disappointing. We were four people and paid €200, which is absurd for the experience we had. Definitely a typical tourist trap. We do not recommend it at all.

We popped to Le Café de Mars yesterday. The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about what was vegan on the menu with good English. There was a salad option and a burger. I chose the burger and it was great. We shared a beer and enjoyed watching the cafe’s cat sunbathe!
