Shirley Heights Lookout

Wow what a party! Went on Sunday night and fortunately we listened to shared advice and showed up early (just before 4pm when it opened). Paid $15/person at the gate on the road to get in. We were able to snag a shared table and buy our meal tickets very early which was huge because the line got VERY long fast. We got our food around 5pm and moved through pretty quickly. Given the amount of food they were serving, we were happy with our meals. I really enjoyed the steel drum band that starts off the evening. As the crowds grew, it was a LONG wait to get a cocktail/beer (like 45 minutes) which was a bit frustrating. When the main band came on it turned into a real party and the band was excellent. Views are amazing and it's a great place to see the sunset - if you can bet a spot to see it (LOL) Go and enjoy!

There is food, a bar, large picnic tables and restrooms Big bonus is the stereo drum band for a total local feel It is a bit crowded so be patient to get a spot or bring a blanket to sit in the grassy area!

It is a must do if in the area. The band, views and vibe were amazing and worth the trip. There is a $10 to get in. There are long food and drinks lines so be prepared and suggest you have one person in each line as they are separate. Tables fill up by 5:30 so go early or after 7 if you want a seat. Food was fine as chicken sandwiches were overcooked and I got only 2 ribs for $30.

Food was good. Music loud and fun. Drinks cold. View worth the hike. Taxi convenient to get down to the harbour after few drinks. Perfect day.

An amazing view of the whole Antigua from way up here its included in the price of your ticket for nelsons dockyard so if you can get up here and see the amazing view of eric claptons house go see 'sexy sue' in her little gift shop she will tell you all about the place

Watching the harbor glow under golden skies is truly magical. ✨️ Helpful Tips: ⏳️ Arrive early on Sundays for the best seats and to avoid long lines (based on reviews). 🌅 Weekdays are quieter and great for a peaceful experience. 💲 Bring cash/card, food & drinks can be pricey, but the vibe makes up for it (according to other reviews). 📸 Don’t forget your camera, this place is a goldmine for sunrise and sunset photography! Even without trying the food or drinks, I can say Shirley Heights is a must see in Antigua. Heights and views beautiful. AVOID FOOD. Full tourist - calling that jerk chicken was a war crime. It’s roast chicken with a jerk sauce over it, served with chips. Service was glum: like I’d offended them in another life. Must go for the view, just don’t get hungry.

A must-do for an intimate island experience with great music, lovely views. Reggae Thursdays are supposedly quieter than Sundays but my, still very busy with a good 20-30 minute wait to get thru the food line. Didn't seem streamlined or with much verbal direction so come with patience. A few servers and cooks weren't happy to be there, others were kind. The grilled wahoo was excellent and worth the wait. Music was the best part.
