Entry fee for three adults and one vehicle came up to be $271 USD for non-residents (while residents of pay 1/4th of that price).
Animals are there but not in abundance. We did see a hyena, a few dinkas, a warthog, random gazelle (and impalas?), etc. never saw an elephant but their droppings are plentiful. We camped near the fishing lodge and was about 50 F at night so bundle up (Oct 18-19). Scenes are good, pretty stunning.
Checking out took us 30 minutes bc we bought our vehicle registration on E citizen and the tickets at the gate bc there was a glitch. Lots of confusion when checking in and out. Overall a great place to check out as an American.
Ps. We drove from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha before hitting up the park. The police pulled us over and shook us down for 10,000 KES. We should have negotiated for 500-1000 KES so be careful driving outside of Nairobi— especially in one spot.
