Brooker's Founding Flavors Ice Cream

I saw the logo while I was sitting at a stoplight And was immediately intrigued because I love ice cream and I love America. I came in and the Shop is decorated with American Revolution era props. It’s clean, nice music, and delicious ice cream flavors all humorously based On our founding fathers. I ordered one scoop, and it was generous And I was able to mix and match two different flavors… Not to mention, the staff is very friendly. Definitely the highlight of my day!

Brooker's Founding Flavors Ice Cream is quite extraordinary. This 18th century themed decor, along with employees dressed in colonial costumes. I went with my parents after a big family dinner at a Korean restaurant. They have several flavors with historically-referenced names. Wanna know which one I chose? I had a couple scoops of Marie Antoinette's Let Them Eat Red Velvet Cake ice cream. That tasted really sweet. Brooker's is also notable for the Liberty Bell Monumental Sundae challenge.

I got the blueberry cobbler ice cream. I also tried a few of their other flavors. They’re not bad but they’re not worth the hype at all. Ice cream quality is solid, but I don’t think anything here is that special. I’d take Handel’s ice cream over this place any day. I submitted a few photos of the menu just so you guys could judge for yourself how overwhelming it is to read the menu when you first enter the establishment. The name of the restaurant is pretty cool.

Ever since seeing the location in Orem I have wanted to try the ice cream and atmosphere. Living in Sandy I was very happy to learn that a location that opened in Draper. Finally making my way there on a date, the ice cream and the atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I especially love the names of the flavors they have given. I feel that the names of the flavors will spark inquiry into the familiar and unfamiliar people that they are named after. It goes without saying that the taste of the ice cream and the friendliness of the staff are worthy of the establishment and business.

If you love ice cream, this is the place for you. Their high quality ice cream comes in many flavors, all named after figures of the American Revolution. I like that they have some lesser known ones, such as James Armistad and Deborah Sampson. They also offer drinking chocolate so thick and rich it's like drinking a melted candy bar. They have a fun founding father’s theme and the employees dress up. The lines are long but move fast. This location serving sizes are a lot smaller than the other locations we’ve been to, which is very disappointing.

Tried the new ice cream place, lots of character and a huge selection. The ice cream was high quality, My Husband felt they were better than Handel’s. They had so many flavors we were overwhelmed, and each ice cream has unique names, thankfully they have lots of menus printed to look over while in line. They have vanilla or chocolate waffle cones which is fun. We tried pralines and cream (I thought that was best), pina colada (also really good), chocolate hazelnut (the hazelnut flavor is subtle), gooey butter cake (not as good as the pralines and cream which is very similar) and honeycomb crunch (which we thought was not that great). Multiple ice creams had a gluten-free label at the counter (see image). I think I would like to go back and try their hot drinking chocolate, 13 cool flavors, or a sundae so I could try more flavors of ice cream. They also had 3 vegan ice creams.

Easily the best ice cream in Utah. i like that there is plenty of seating with warm lighting to sit and enjoy with family and friends. They have a wide variety of unique flavors that are all top top notch. Im glad they put one in Draper, we previously drove out to Saratoga Springs to get some. Soo good!

This is definitely one of the better locations. It's also a bit brighter. I love the back corner table here since it has a fireplace on the table. It gives very cozy vibes. The only thing i can see making this place an absolute 5 star is more consistency with the ice cream texture. Some of the times I've come here, the ice cream was a bit "dry" as in it didn't stay together very well and would fall apart rather than just scoop through like it's cream instead of ice. Still love all of the flavors and options they have at all of their locations.

Walking into Brooker's Founding Flavors felt like stepping into a fun little history scene--the workers were all dressed as Founding Fathers, which instantly made me smile. They were so patient with me while I tried (yes...) five different flavors before deciding. Jeff was especially great; he had a genuine smile the whole time and handed me each sample like he was excited for me to try it. I'm originally from Louisiana, so the John Jay's Louisiana Purchase Pralines & Cream immediately caught my eye, and it truly tasted like home. The French brown butter vanilla, New Orleans pralines, and butterscotch swirl were absolutely perfect together. I also loved The Tory Apathy--cheesecake ice cream with black raspberry swirls. Both flavors were bold and explosive without being overwhelming, and that really stood out to me. I normally stick to chocolate or coffee ice cream, but these two completely won me over. The texture is a little more on the icy, compact side, but the flavor payoff makes up for it. Overall, such a fun, delicious, memorable stop!

Love everything just blown away at how many bright as the sun lights they have on I latest went to get my sunglasses out of the car and worked them in - turn off SOME of the gross overly bright lights please it looks like a 712 or stadium bathroom

First of all, IF you haven't been here and been in Utah majority of your adult life run, don't walk. Me and my boyfriend went lastnight because we live literally right behind bookers. And i was mad at myself for JUST finding out how good it is. Try the federalists sundae. Service was great. Sundae was perfect. Thank me later.

I am very picky with my ice cream, and this place delivers in every way! My husband and I are convinced this is the best chocolate ice cream. He specifically loves SUPER chocolatey things and dark chocolate, so he loves the give me chocolate or give me death. I personally lean towards vanilla based ice creams, and really like the ooey gooey butter cake, the honey comb crunch, and the shoe leather of valley forge ones. The shoe leather one is perfectly coconut-y and so yummy. We love this place!

Great ice cream, nice building. Kind staff. Would come back. We got both cookies and cream and strawberry.

Generous portions, exceptional service and patriotic atmosphere. We love taking the whole family here.
