Terraza Dos Equis

The actual service is pretty bad. The venue is good and the music is good. I went on a friday night and i noticed you need reservations first then they let me go up. Once i got to the rooftop i understood why i needed a reservation. Everyone has a table and is sitting with their freinds as in this is not a singles club. You need to bring your group of people. This was a friday night maybe its different saturday but i doubt it

Total rip off and scam. The bill will surprise you. They decide and force a high tip amount and add taxes as extra which is actually not allowed in mexico.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Nice city view, place allows visitors to dance and drink something.

Cool spot atop a nondescript building just south of el Zócalo. We only stayed for one round, but the service was friendly and attentive. Pro-tip: wear your dancing shoes! The only negative, and it's a big one for me, is that even if you sit inside (not out on the terraced area wear the dance floor is) you'll still get bombarded by cigarette smoke from all the smokers out on the terrace. Major bummer as it seems like a cool spot to hang out and dance with your friends and/or partner.

The worst club in the city. Pretentious posers who pay for overpriced drinks. The redeeming quality being that the music is so insufferably loud that you can’t even pretend to hear what the clown next to you might be saying.

The extra terrace charges for food and drinks were absolutely beyond a joke, and I would go so far as to say that staff were quite stand off-ish and borderline aggressive when I questioned on why the bill was essentially double the listed menu price. Avoid this place.

quick notes from my checking it out for a min: - very standard bar decor, not much character - security checks bags and pats down. took my disposable water bottle. - would come back IF in neighborhood 😉 🍻 - (Terraza XX sign is indoors, and there's no "world's most interesting man" ... in general in #MEX 🇲🇽 no one seems to know that US ad campaign 😔 🇺🇸)

Good place for having a drink with friends. Nonetheless, if it's only two of you, they'll put you with another couple in a single table. That could be uncomfortable for some people.
