After Kit Dwight and I finished our Medical Monday Doctor Appointments in Tinton Falls, we did a little shopping and and then stopped for Lunch at the newest restaurant at this location... Over the years, it was Gertrude Browns, then Charlie Brown's, next it was Moose's, it became the second location for Woody's and now the Local House Kitchen and Bar... Both of us started with a bowl of French Onion Soup... It was very delicious but it was in the smallest Crock we have ever seen. For the $9.00, it could of been in the larger Crocks that this Favorite Comfort food usually came in. Kit, chose to try the Chicago Hotdog with French fries. The hotdog was a Nathan's foot long on a challah bun,with pickles, relish, diced onions, peppers, yellow mustard and celery salt.. Her first bite came with a surprise, the peppers were whole jalapenos... Which unlike me, she doesn't like them because of the hotness. It might be a good idea to note that in the ingredients, so she could of had them removed. She pulled out a total of 7 between each bite and did enjoy the rest of it!!! I chose The House Clucker, a Buttermilk Fried Chicken Breast with Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles and a House Ranch Dressing on a very large Potato Roll... I found the chicken fried perfectly, moist and delicious!!! The French Fries were seasoned and tasty

Chicken strips are memorable the Guinness is a good pour, the Kane Head high a good addition. They could find a few more quality craft beer options to add. Food very good makes me want to go back but bar service needs professional help. Bartender fails to make eye contact walks by me twice. People next to me ordered one round and were ignored for 15 minutes. Bar staff needs to prioritize customers over stacking inventory. It’s the difference between being a great place or just status quo.

I was heading home from the doctors and was really hungry and saw this place on my way home. I decided to stop in and try it. Holy moly this place is incredible. The staff is super friendly. The food was incredible. The smash burger is an absolute MUST. Best I’ve ever had. EVERYONE here is so attentive and great at making recommendations. The corn dip was also amazing but the smash burger stole the show. It’s also gorgeous inside. The bathrooms are immaculate.

We came in for my first time today. Rob and Mel were the best. Fantastic service and so kind. The ruby red crush was excellent. Loved the cheese pizza and wings. Absolutely will be back.

We had the best time at dinner. Doug was the best- attentive, friendly, & informative. He gave excellent recommendations based on our tastes and made our dining experience thoroughly enjoyable. We'll definitely be back.

Actually went twice -Saturday Feb.7th with my grandson and Wed. the 11th. with my granddaughter. Glad I made a reservation for Saturday because it was very busy. Both times ordered the sliders - they were delicious. My 10 year old granddaughter told her mom they were so good she inhaled them! Nacho’s on Sat. were also great as well as the Buffalo pizza. Matthew was our server and he was polite, friendly and professional. Wed. Corie served us. My granddaughter said she seemed very nice, enthusiastic and very positive. When a ten year old notices the service and compliments the waitress- you know you are somewhere special. Thank you as well for Steve checking on us (both nights) and everyone else it seemed. Congratulations on the vibe, service and continued success! Great team!

Had a fantastic first-time visit here with my parents; the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed and the food was truly phenomenal. Our server, Doug, was the highlight of the evening. His exceptional personality and top-tier customer service made the experience memorable, and we will definitely be returning when he is on shift. The pretzel bites and orange crush shrimp were incredibly tasty starters, but the white pizza and boardwalk fries stole the show, with the fries being some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend dining here for anyone looking for great flavors and a welcoming staff!

Stopped in for happy hour when visiting the area from out of town. It was pretty good. We had a hot honey pepperoni pizza for $12 which we enjoyed. We also got a steak and cheese to go. That was nothing to write home about bc the bread was a bit hard. The bartender was friendly and attentive and our overall time was fine. Not sure I would return if we find ourselves in the area again but it was certainly a decent place overall.
