"An internationally renowned center for contemporary art, DCA was key to Dundee’s comeback as a cultural hub in northeast Scotland . Set on the harbor, the center features two large-scale gallery spaces, two movie theaters, and a print studio, plus an award-winning learning program and a packed schedule of events, workshops, classes, and activities. Typical exhibitions range from an immersive installation by photographer Margaret Salmon to prints and sculptures by multimedia artist Lorna Macintyre, while films include both Hollywood and art-house pictures."

Very friendly stuff on the entrance. Need to come back one day as part of it was renovated but still worth it to visit...

The gallery hosts a fantastic range of contemporary exhibitions, always fresh and thought-provoking. The staff are friendly and ready to offer recommendations. The space itself is modern, welcoming, and perfect for art lovers of all kinds. Plus, the café is a great spot to relax with a coffee and take in the creative atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We had a brilliant time going to the cinema here! What a lovely space. Friendly and welcoming staff, and we really appreciated that we could take refreshments (cups of tea!) into the cinema with us. We didn't really use the café, but it looked very nice, and the shop is a delight - so many lovely gifts! Would recommend very highly.

Had a lovely lunch here today. We thought the waitress had made a mistake and brought us the full haddock, not the half portion we ordered. But no, this IS the half portion! Such good value and taste. Quick service and clean surroundings.

Expensive but lovely wine and a lovely lunch menu. Id recommend the truffle hash brown bites and a glass of Beronia Rueda Verdejo

Fantastic building full of interesting little details. I’ve been to a few exhibitions in here but was only passing by in the dark on this occasion. I have to say the buildings quality still shines through in the darkness. A quality piece of contemporary architecture that Dundee should be very proud of for many many years to come. I think the Architects (Richard Murphy) have given Dundee a classic building of it time

We went to the cinema and had a coffee prior to going in to see the film. Everyone was very helpful and they also accept CEA cards if you are disabled. We had intended to have a meal but the evening menu had very little variety and nothing that we would have ordered. The lunch time menu seemed to have more variety and looked very tasty. Lesson learned eat before the cinema.

Great experience! It was my first visit to this place. Many things are happening in this beautiful building and I recommend you to plan your trip before giving DCA a visit. Regular movie screenings happen here and you can get those tickets at a very cheap rate. DCA was showing the latest Mission Impossible movie when I visited. An interesting exhibition from Zineb Sedira was also going on one side. I didn't visit the resto downstairs but heard they serve some good food. Do give DCA a visit if you are in Dundee. Moreover, it would be great if DCA is giving more publicity to all the events happening inside.
