Our experience at this restaurant was spectacular! Although we had to wait around 30-40 minutes in the queue, it was absolutely worth it. The food was simply AMAZING - honestly, the pasta and meatballs were the best we had on our holiday! We’re so happy we decided to come here. The chefs and servers were all so wonderful, making the whole dining experience even more special. We had the best time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento!

It was our first restaurant we ate in Sorrento. This place was fantastic! The pizza, soup, and bruschetta were mouthwatering—bursting with flavor and just right. The local wine was divine, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, and the adorable dog roaming around was the icing on the cake. Such a delightful experience!

Love, love, love this place!! My family went for our last proper meal in Sorrento and if we were here another day, we would’ve gone back in a heart beat! We got an array of dishes: 2 kinds of soup, gnocchi and pizza and all were EXQUISITE. Everything was made fresh to order and was pipping hot! Raphael was so kind and provided amazing service, loved every minute of being there! 10/10 recommend!!

We ate couple times in this restaurant during our stay in Sorrento. Food is incredible, always fresh. Staff and the chef are very attentive and helpful. We had bolognese, meatballs were our favorite, carbonara pizza. I would definitely come back here.

We waited for an hour and a half to get in and while waiting people said that “it’s worth the wait”, but IT IS NOT. The food is fine. But not more to wort even a 30 min waiting time. The pizza was simply not good. The lasagna was really good, on the other hand. The garlic bread was average. The meatballs were ok. If there’s no line it might worth giving it a try, but I wouldn’t even wait 10 min to get in.

5/5 - The food is exceptional and the service is wonderful. Family business. Lasagna and caprese salad were both phenomenal. There is always a wait line outside because all their food is delicious. Pizza Margherita and dessert also incredible

We tried Cannelloni al forno (highly recommended) and the Bolognese Pasta (this one is good but a different flavor compared to others, you can also try it), both were really tasty and fresh. The service takes some time, but it's expected since the food is prepared after the order. That's how you know the food is fresh. The staff was very gentile. Price was ok (not the cheapest but neither expensive), for the quality it's really good.

Azz! Is a small restaurant just off the main drag through the town of Sorrento, Italy. We’d heard a lot of positive things about the place, so we decided to go and check the place out for dinner. When we got there, we realized how small it was, and there was already a small line outside, waiting to be seated. It’s rare that I’d line up for food, but I was on holiday and was keeping my initial chances of food in Sorrento high for quality. After a 15mins wait, myself and my two sons were seated. We browsed the menu, which was small but had decent variety. As we looked through the choices of food, a small dog was mulling around the restaurant. It had a sign on it, which said not to feed it (still not sure if it was the owners dog, or some rando off the street). My boys loved trying to get its attention as it passed near our table. In the menu, it pointed out that everything is cooked fresh, so there’ll be a longer wait than most places. Please look elsewhere if you want something quick. I’d take that as a good sign. I ordered the Pappardelle ai Funghi Porchini, basically a very wide, thin pasta with a mushroom sauce. One of my boys ordered the Margherita pizza, the other a simple grilled chicken breast and side potatoes. I was surprised at the punch of the mushroom flavour of the sauce, and the pasta was cooked just right. I was very tasty. The son who ordered the Pizza, really enjoyed his, too. Coming to the end days of our trip, he recalled this as being the best pizza he had ever tasted 😊 We enjoyed Azz! so much, that we returned again a few days later. It was the only restaurant that we visited twice during our stay in Sorrento. The second time I tried the Penne all’Arrabbiata…which was tomatoey and spicy sauce with penne pasta. Another simple, but very tasty dish. I’d suggest getting there early in the day, say 3 or 4 for dinner, as it can get busy from 6pm onwards. Well worth a visit, and merits it’s good scores and reviews.
