Yelp
Awesome food and even better music. 10/10 will go back next time we are in Maui, which can't be soon enough. Salad was fresh and massive and goat cheese special was legit! Great service. One of the best meals we had on the island

Yelp
First off the vibe is so welcoming and good just walking up. This is the SECOND time in 3 days I've come here... I willingly commuted from Kahana where I live to Point Break. If I'm this in love with the allergy friendly style pizza & homemade Paninis --imagine your REG style pizza They were even patient enough to help with my allergies. they took it very seriously I've had a thyroid disease for the last 10 years now, so believe me when I say this is one of the best gluten-free crusts, homemade fennel sausage, and the fact that they're dairy free cheese is nothing that I've had before. So many Vegan/Vegetarian options! Even if it IS something I've had before, it hits different.. all I know is if you were not told it was gluten-free, bet you wouldn't notice the crust. It's that good. They don't rush, yet bakes in about 10-12 minutes!! happy hour exists, Kama'aina for our local community & a lot of ALOHA. I appreciate you guys!

Yelp
FOOD IS AMAZING Seriously delicious. The focaccia with honey and butter will change you. The pizza and paninis are great. But this Kook ruined it for me. I saw some weirdo walking around outside Tante's with a huge water gun, shooting at baby chickens. He walked all the way down to the Pacific Whale Foundation to shoot at more chickens. It was so awkward and made me feel so uncomfortable how he was going out of his way to harass wildlife, let alone the babies. I was disgusted and was wondering where he came from/where he belonged, and then I see him walk into Point Break as one of the workers. Well not 5 minutes later two baby birds make it to their patio. So I guess this didn't work other than killing the vibe for me, and making me question what kind of person enjoys using a water gun on wild baby chicks. :(

Yelp
the food and drink phenomenal. the service from the gentleman was great but I did care for the blonde lady at the counter I notice how her demeanor grreat to certain individuals. I notice that she was was not accom towards me just because I was local. the fact the she could not even give me my check at the bar made come around the pay but people in the diningroom no problem . her attitude was c cocky , I noticed when I was putting in the tip seemed like she was trying to see how much I would tip. the guy that had assisted was a lot more welcoming his service was great

Yelp
This was some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. I ordered the Charlie's angel pizza and it was phenomenal. Everything from the way they cooked the pizza, to the toppings on it made it all come together, being super delicious. The service was super quick too, a large family of around 9 ordered right before my family and we still got our food within 10-15 minutes. Only downside of this place is that they charge extra for ranch. Other than that, this place is definitely worth going to.

Yelp
Love the pizza here. The crust is super thin and the sauce just perfectly balanced. We have gone a few times recently and I think it may be the best on the island. Coming from a former New Yorker, that's a compliment. They have lots of toppings to choose from. Why not five stars? I think the panini is lacking. I got some kind of Italian one that as all bread and very little meat. I was glad my partner ordered pizza so we could share 1/2 of each. The pizza stood out and the panini was lacking. You can see limited views of Maalea harbor from the outside seating. It is so nice to have this place as an option because it is delish and affordable and much needed in that complex of shops.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places to eat. We love their pizza and their salads! It seems that the word is out about Point Break. It gets a good flow of customers which makes us happy because we want this place to stay around! Aside from the great food we love the friendly faces and quick service.

Yelp
Anytime I see "pizza by the slice" posted outside there is a 100% chance I'm giving it a try. It was the perfect quick bite after our snorkeling tour. Very very impressed with the slices. They do slices only for cheese, pepperoni, and Hawaiian. Both slices were very good; crisp, light, beautiful char and very flavorful. Service was quick, out in a couple of minutes. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Great crust and tasty ingredients. So many people said to go there. It's really exceptional.

Yelp
One of the few restaurants in the Ma'alaea Harbor, but this is a great place to get your pizza and pasta lunch or dinner! The pizzas are 14 inches and might be great for at least 2 people, but for each person that would be too much (luckily they do have take-out boxes if you can't finish it all). My girlfriend and I also tried their cheese bread and it was so delicious! The service was great overall and there is enough seating both inside and on the lanai.

Yelp
I live for this spot. Love the food. Love the staff. Love the location. I visit on date nights, lunch breaks, late desert stop. Everything's a must experience.
google avatar

Janelle K.

Yelp
This is the best pizza I have had while living on Maui. The crust is really nice and chewy and the toppings are tasty. Service here is also very friendly and I love the location. Last time I went my friend also got the gluten free pizza and she said it's the best gluten free pizza she has ever had!
google avatar

Courtenay O.

Yelp
Young lady who greeted us was friendly and efficient. She took our order, and when the pizzas were done we got a slice of pepperoni and slice of Hawaiian. We sat inside, listening to rock music and staying cool. It was warm outside and windy. It was comfortable inside, and the pizza was outstanding! We'll be in the area tomorrow, and we'll be coming back for more!

Justin M.

Yelp
This place was amazing! We did the road to Hāna and back and stopped in on our way back to Lāhainā. Service was great and the pizza was even better! Cheesy focaccia was amazing!

Yelp
Friendly fast service, FANTASTIC pizza! Lived here 20 years and never thought any pizza matched my home NY pizza! NY pizza needs to be folded over to eat... so did Point Break... loved that!! Felt like a little taste of childhood Salad was also fantastic- house made delicious dressing and the small size was very ample. Really fresh ingredients- incredibly impressed!!! (and that is hard to do! Haha) Ordered the pizza well done - they did perfect. Loved the chili oil available at the condiment station ... can't wait to return... YUMMY!! Restaurant seating was really cute, there's a nice big six seater table for families. Real nice wooden tables each one has a Lazy Susan for the pizza in the middle, what a great idea over those precarious U-shaped standard pizza holders that you always feel like are gonna topple over ! Great job guys! Doing things this great, you have a bright future !

Yelp
Wow wow wow. 5 stars in my book. Probably one of my top spots to eat at in Maui. This review is long overdue. Not only is their food incredible their service is too. Thank you to Kendall she was such a sweetheart. She was kind, helpful and really made our experience a great one. Point Break gets really busy they are located near the aquarium marina area. Their pizzas, salads, and panini were so good. We loved it so much we ended up coming back the next day. We couldn't get enough. The first time we came we got their panini, salad and pizza. I really loved the hot honey pepperoni pizza it had a nice kick as well as the right amount of sweetness. Their salads were incredibly fresh and probably one of the best salads I had. My favorite was the arugula with artichokes, goat cheese, radish and some other ingredients. The salad dressing that came with it complimented the salad perfectly. I couldn't get enough!! We also ordered the portabella panini and I'm not a mushroom fan but this panini was so good. The 2nd day we ended up getting the garlic pizza and whoaa was this pizza so good. The fresh roasted garlic gloves, the arugula, the crust. Just melts in your mouth. We had a wonderful dining experience both times. I highly recommend and would come back here in a heartbeat when I come back to Maui. Must visit here. It's casual, great people working here and the best pizza, salads and paninis around.

Yelp
Nice location right by the harbor and super friendly staff. It's a great spot for takeout or a casual dine-in meal if you're in the mood for pizza. Even as a New Yorker/Jersey girl, I have to say -- the pizza here is pretty solid!

M K.

Yelp
Any pizza joint with a 72 hour fermentation of their crust is worth a try. They also make their own fennel sausage. Nice spot for pizza, particularly with a local flair. ! They are almost always quick and the staff is helpful. My guests look forward to a Break Point pizza when they visit. The crust is wonderful! One friend looks forward to the lilikoi lemonade. Indoor and outdoor seating options available, both are great. We get to-go most often, and stop for Hula Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches 'to-go' for after-pizza treats.

Yelp
This has to be one of the top two pizzas I've ever tried. I am so mad that I don't live in Maui and I won't be able to have this pizza every week. The crust was so good and the overall pizza was so flavorful. You come in and order yourself and then you take a seat at your own table. The pizzas didn't take long at all. We came here right before we left the island and I'm very disappointed because I won't be having it for a very long time. If I had this on the first day of my vacation, I probably would've visited at least one more time.

Yelp
Very good pizza and beer in the mall by marina. Reasonably priced. My friend and I enjoyed our pizza.
google avatar

Lynda H.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch in January, wanting to try their pizza. We had a lovely view outside from our table, which made the short wait enjoyable. We started off with the cheesy focaccia. Their house made focaccia topped with garlic oil and mozzarella was exceptional. For the pizza we ordered one of the build your own - mushrooms and pepperoni topped with arugula. As we finished our starter, our pizza came. The pizza has a thin bottom crust with a thick edge. The problem with this one was that the bottom was soggy. The pizza tasted great otherwise and the reason for the okay score. The service was fast. If we come back we would try the paninis, but not the pizza.
google avatar

Terri L.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing, the crust was off da hook amazing. A nice location at Maalea harbor with a slight view.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty good! If you're in the area, a great stop for pizza and paninis. I loved my cao bella veggie panini it was phenomenal. The workers were kind and friendly.

Yelp
Great wood fire pizza, chewy Italian high protein flour like 000, charred just enough. I was simple and had olives and mushrooms all done very well, my son had Boss Hoss meat lovers w plenty of good toppings. I love the red sauce taste like it should, little tangy not burning my mouth, a bit of oregano and just enough on the pizza, Bravo!
google avatar

Wells L.

Yelp
Ate here a few times while in Maui. Super solid spot with friendly service. The interior has lots of wood and comfy seating. Ambiance doesn't quite match the exterior plaza but is nicer. You order at the counter then they'll bring the food out to you. We got a "transplant" pizza and a pepperoni and roasted garlic pizza. The pizza crust is a great Neapolitan style crust, thin in the middle and chewy crust. The transplant pizza was a bit of a let down as the amount of toppings and the pork being a bit dry lead to a overall less than stellar experience. The much simpler pepperoni and garlic was a hit though. All in all, a solid spot that I wouldn't mind coming back to.
google avatar

Jameson K.

Yelp
It is very good Italian thin crust pizza. The employees are all very friendly and professional. The music playlist is fantastic and makes for a great environment. Prices are very fair for the area.

Fatima A.

Yelp
Best pizza I've had in a long time!! This was hands down the best meal we had in Maui. I ordered the White Cap, and it was amazing- the flavor and texture were perfect. Definitely will be coming back here anytime we visit Maui again. Highly recommend!

Lorelei V.

Yelp
Carbonara Everything about this pizza was perfect--especially the dough. I ate this with the Hale Insalata that came with the panini my son ordered--more on this in a second! Arugula on a pizza may seem strange to some, but it adds an element of freshness to the baked goodness. I'm a sucker for arugula. Cuban on Vacation Panini with a side of Hale Insalata -the sandwich itself was full of flavor, but the Hale Insalata has me drooling over here. I paired it with the crust from the carbonara and it was amazing I loved the interior it had a very modern feel to it. The service was excellent, friendly and patient when it came to indecisive people. If we're ever in Maui again, this is definitely one of our stops.

Yelp
Pizza by the slice So good !! My son and I got a margarita pizza and pepperoni and it was spectacular . Just what we needed while picking up a few souvenirs in the shops . Grab a bit , you won't regret it . It nice inside to catch a break and sit it out and eat

Lisa M.

Yelp
Best pizza we had in Maui- and we ate it numerous times. Random tip- the signed will tell you to pay to park- after 5:30 you don't need too. Recommend the pizza here!
google avatar

Candy K.

Yelp
Delicious. We built our own pizza, pepperoni & sausage. Crust was so good, cheese was so good, price was good and service was good. This will be a stop on every trip to Maui.
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
Had a couple of Hawaiian take out slices from Point Break. They are NY style and each slice looks lick a quarter of a 12" pizza - plenty big & foldable! They look to be cooked in a wood-fired oven, but I a not sure on that. The pineapple was fresh & flavorful and the ham was juicy. The prior evening we ordered a "Da point grilled cheese" and an Upcountry Club (paninis). Both were hot and good. Solid food for the $.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Great gluten free pizza. Thin but not a crunchy cracker texture like most gf pizza. It was soft and chewy, and not burnt. A pleasant surprise!
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
Great food, great service, friendly staff! The view outside ain't bad either! We came to ma'alaia for a show, not thinking about a mother's day crowd. The other restaurants nearby were reservations only, so despite our diet ended up here. More than pleasantly suprised by the experience here! I know it's a little out of the way, but it's totally worth the trip.

Yelp
Just had it. Amazing ingredients. Delicious paninis. The grilled cheese for kids is da bomb. I ate half of my kid's.
google avatar

Tori B.

Yelp
We finished up at the aquarium and were hungry. We were going to head home, but ended up in a downpour, which brought us in here. Wow! This was a great find. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Truly, a brick oven pizza with a perfect crust. It is counter service, but the guy across the counter was amazing. Funny, helpful, and really made my day. Inside and outside seating. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Diana N.

Yelp
I have been here twice and it's been great both times. The pizza is super fresh and the paninis are great. The pizza is thin and baked in a pizza oven and has great flavor. Make sure to get the spicy red sauce for a kick of flavor. The grilled cheese is really good as it comes with the spicy red sauce to dip in and the bacon jam brings a unique sweetness to it. My absolute favorite thing here is the warm honey focaccia. The bread is made in house and it's just so yummy! I am also a big fan of their margarita pizza. So simple but so delish! Would definitely recommend checking it out :)

Yelp
awsome place to stop on your way to or from the airport. Get a drink and a great pie!
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
After returning from the Pacific Whale Foundations sunset cruise, we stopped by for a drink and a snack. Ended up getting way more than we bargained for! Certainly the best pizza I've ever had on Maui. Super friendly staff, great drinks and awesome music. Would highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for an authentic pizza experience on the island
google avatar

Paulina L.

Yelp
Very delicious thin crust pizza. The 2 pizzas we ordered came out very quick. We ordered Charlie's Angel and a slice of pepperoni. Lemonade and Arnold Palmer's were excellent.
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
Best pizza I've had on island. Closest thing to my NY pizza back home. Incomparable in difference. This is where I'll be going to get my good pizza for sure. Clean & Family friendly

Mike B.

Yelp
Outstanding pizza, fast service for take out and easy assess on the way from the airport. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Randy E.

Yelp
I've eaten here about three times in the past few months, and the pizza is very good. It's thin style crust, which is not my favorite as I like pan pizzas, but I have to say its near perfect, with an amazing chew to it that most people will love. All the toppings are well done and the flavors amazing. Beers on tap are also excellent. Love the Kohola Pilsner. Check it out, you will like it!

Jeremy M.

Yelp
Great food, awesome service and staff. Ingredients are fresh, always cleaning food stations, washing hands, great vibe from all, definitely a must go to restaurant.

Yelp
This is a new pizza place at Maalea harbor shops that serves pizza, paninis and a few salads as well. I tried the margherita pizza, hale insalata, and up-country club panini. The food was freshly made and came out promptly. I enjoyed the pizza the most. The dough had a delightful, airy, chewy texture and wonderful flavor. I don't usually eat pizza crust, but this one I couldn't stop eating and dipping in olive oil. The pizza was significantly more enjoyable than the panini, which is okay.

Yelp
Ah, molto bene! **Pizza Review:** The garlic and shrimp pizza? Un vero capolavoro! The flavors dance on your palate like a symphony. It's a culinary masterpiece that'll leave you longing for more. **Salad Assessment:** Ah, the spinach and blue cheese salad, una delizia! The freshness of the spinach combined with the tanginess of the blue cheese creates a harmony of taste that's simply divine. **Dessert Delight:** Eh, che bontà! The 'cannoli' dessert? It's like a sweet dream straight from Sicilia. You'll be enchanted by its creamy richness and delicate pastry. **Beverage Recommendation:** Ecco la limonata! House-made lemonade, refreshing as a breeze from the Amalfi coast. It's the perfect accompaniment to your Italian feast. **Restaurant Review:** Ah, benvenuti al ristorante! A place where simplicity meets perfection. Ordering at the counter, it's like stepping into a pizzeria in Napoli. The scent of fresh dough and tomatoes fills the air, tantalizing your senses from the moment you enter. As you approach the counter, you're greeted with smiles as bright as the Tuscan sun. The staff, jovial and passionate about their craft, are always eager to share their recommendations, guiding you through a culinary journey fit for a gourmand. The atmosphere, ah, it's like a cozy trattoria in the heart of Roma. Relaxed and comfortable, you're invited to savor each moment, embracing the essence of la dolce vita. Help yourself to silverware, napkins, and condiments, for here, it's not just a meal, it's an experience. And when the food arrives, oh, it's a celebration of freshness and flavor. Each bite, a testament to the artistry of Italian cuisine. From the crispy crust of the pizza to the vibrant salads, ogni boccone is a symphony of taste. In this haven of culinary delight, time slows down, and you find yourself immersed in the joy of good food and good company. So, gather your friends, your family, and indulge in the magic of this Italian gem. Benvenuti al paradiso della pizza! Buon appetito!

Yelp
Came in later evening from the ferry starving! The menu outside looked so fresh with salad options compared to Tantes. You get menu from front counter. Seat yourself, get your own water, plates & utensils. You go back to counter to order & pay ahead. The chair legs slide outwards when you sit in them making you fell the chair is broken but nope that's how they are designed. Was annoying the whole meal feeling like the chair leg is going to fall off. We ordered: warm Honey focaccia- the parts not burnt were nice. The focaccia texture was perfect in center. Waitress did notice the Burt parts & rest not eaten after we already had salad & pizza just put out. Offered to refire the dish. We declined. Was kept on bill. Strawberry fields salad was basic but good. Margherita pizza- I had such high hopes for a nice thin CRISPY crust like I had before when their oven was originally put in from Italy by previous owner. Was so sad when I pulled first slice off pan the cheese slid off and the pizza was a wet floppy mess. The crust was more firm but still didn't have that crispness, had a chew to it. The basil looked wilted, darker than usual. Not that nice green freshness. The taste of the sauce was very nice, but on the thin side. Sunshine tea- a good Arnold Palmer

Yelp
Visited with Hubbs n another couple and managed to score a table for 4 on a busy Sunday at 5pm, just after the Oceanarium closed. Seating is tight and uncomfortable, and they don't have a liquor license to BYO, so eat pizza then go next door to Tante's for a drink (which is what we did). The menu is all pizzas, panini n salads, and they had a print out of specials on the door when you walked in, but not on the menu. We ordered the veggie pizza and our friends ordered the white garlic one. Theirs was definitely the better of the two, and the waft of garlic was droolworthy. However ours was also tasty with plenty of artichoke on the toppings. The base is thin and not greasy and they are made in a pizza oven, which you see on entry. The house salad was impressive, but the croutons could crack a tooth. We found the restaurant a little too noisy with so many hard surfaces amplifying the sound of a particularly gifted child with lungs like an opera singer. But overall it is a great place to grab a quick bite of pizza when you are in the Maalea area.
