Hotel Coronation

Wonderful historic hotel in a great Sydney location. Travis on reception was helpful and accurate with our booking. Room was clean & comfortable. Sofa bed already made up for our arrival…wow! Stored out bags until departure and all staff so helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much :)

We stayed for a 2 night stop over in Sydney. Great location, walking distance to Circular Quay, Hyde Park and the Botanical Gardens. Our room was clean with good facilities including a mini fridge. The hotel’s restaurant was excellent and competitively priced. The stand out feature of our stay was the hotel manager, Travis who couldn’t have been more helpful, he even took the bother to take our luggage out to the Uber pick up point when we left for the airport.

Great location & great place to stay. You get 10% off you food bill as a hotel guest. Travis went out of his way for us & we very much appreciated your time & effort. Would love to return if we come back. Many thanks.

This review is about the pub on the ground floor only: Forget ordering a glass of wine there. Last week: Large glass of Merlot was $13.50 This week $22 bucks. There is no way they should charge this much for an average Merlot they buy at wholesale prices. This is not The Shangri-La Hotel and it is not The Ivy either, it is NOT a top bar at all. I feel sorry and embarrassed for the staff that work there Total rip off - Don't buy drink there

Travis was fabulous. They restocked our toiletries every day. Room is small, but that’s fine! Location is so ideal to explore the city.

Not a place for date night, but for a few beers with mates in the sports bar, is certainly OK. Great service. More blue collar crowd but whether in chinos or shorts, casually acceptable. Broad tap beer range. Perfect place to meet from Town Hall train or light rail stops, or Metro Gadigal, plus bus network along Park St. Plenty of nearby Plan B's.

Refurbished rooms. Comfortable soft beds. Great service for helping us arrange a large group booking. Some loud noise from the church next door but can't do much about that.

Nice enough little bar. A few decent choices on the pump, friendly staff. Big screen for sports. Not a whole lot of seating space.
