Hello Everyone: I really hate to put a bad review to someone, but unfortunately I had a bad experience with this business. I place an order of 5 bottle of wine back on July 19.2025. Till today I have not receive my order yet. I call many times nobody answer my telephone calls ,neither my emails. Finally last Monday I was able to speak to someone that Identify as the business owner, Francisco. He promise to solve the problem and call me back. Today few days passed already and nobody has call me yet. Since to be nice business but they have very poor customer services.

Enormous and great selection from all around the world, excellent costumer service very attentive, fair prices, convenient and great location. Love their loyalty points discounts incentive.

Great shop with an astounding variety of wines, including hard to find bottles from South America, Greece and Georgia, with a spotlight on Spain. Francisco is very hospitable, warm, and knowledgeable. Tastings on Fridays and Saturdays are amazing. Not a budget wine store but not overpriced either. They have tastings on weekends and a rewards program (spend $180 and get a $15 credit). Great to have in the neighborhood.

Great place to buy a variety of wine from different parts of the world. The ambient is relaxing. The place is also well decorated with different wines. You can wine taste Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The staff is always present and very helpful. They help you get the perfect wine based on your preferences and ocassion. Aside from the winery, across from the street you can enjoy their delicious tapas.

Exquisite selection of very unique wines! Sometimes you have to call the number on the front door for them to come down and let you in , which is totally fine 😊. This is truly a neighborhood gem- Francisco and Patrick Remember you and what you like to drink . It’s nice to have such a personable, warm experience.

Amazing wine shop in a neighborhood not terribly known for wine. A small but very carefully curated selection and free tastings on Fridays and Saturdays. The staff is so friendly and helpful too. Will definitely be a regular customer.

Love the idea and I see that some people are enjoying this shop however I also see that others have had problems with them upholding their opening and closing times which was exactly my experience. I arrived around 1:30 with a sign on the door saying that they were opening at 1 instead of 12 on this day. No one was there. I returned near 2 o'clock and still no one was there.

Knowledgeable friendly staff and weekly tastings. For a small shop they offer many unusual varieties not commonly found elsewhere as the owner is a sommelier.

GREAT selection of wine. They have various imported wines you will not find in a regular liquor store. They has a great selection of wine from Georgia. The female cashier who assisted me was very knowledgeable.

Let me start of by saying that Addictive Boutique Winery is a true hidden gem in Jackson Heights!! Patrick and Francisco are always on hand to answer any wine questions you might have and assist in choosing wines that fit you preference and budget. These guys are very friendly and have phenomenal customer service. Every time I walk in I'm treated like family! Unlike other places this wine store actually feels like one. It's filled with many, many different wines local and around the world anywhere from cheap, mid-price and high end! It is also beautifully decorated with a table in the middle that's used when they do wine tastings usually Friday and Saturday which I hear are awesome! You can find wines from local wineries as well as international wines; from what I found out they carry South American wines from Chile, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay; European wines from Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Georgia, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia, and Greece and also South African wines. Now that's what I call a wine store! Also they carry vegan wines! As I'm writing this review I'm enjoying a Alta Pavina Pago La Pavina 2009 wine I just purchased at their store and it's amazing! If you like wine you will definitely love this place! They also have a reward program you can enroll in! Don't forget to check out their Addictive Wine and Tapas Bar which Is located right across the street, you will thank me later! Enjoy!

Had walked by it so many times because it was near the house. We had gone around 8pm with a couple of people. Super friendly staff. Tried so many wines and bought a lot of them too. Check them out if you a wine type of person. Prices are great also.

Wow. This wine store just north of 87th street and Northern Boulevard inJackson Heights is beautiful and welcoming. Very well appointed and unexpected (for me!) in this neighborhood. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Selection of wines fantastic. Great addition to the neighborhood!! And they have a Tapas bar across the street!!!

This is a hidden gem in Queens and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it! It's a super cute wine shop- not your average liquor store. The music, atmosphere and decor have you feeling like you're in another country. They have wine tastings on the weekend with a very fine selection of wine from all over the world. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Just stopping in there to pick up a bottle of wine is such an enjoyable experience.

Most amazing wine shop in Jackson Heights! This Shop is a great addition to the Jackson Heights Community. It is beautifully decorated and laid out by region. There are hundreds of choices in the store. The Staff is Extremely helpful as well. Addictive Boutique Winery has a very upscale feel to it. However, they are really friendly and will help you with whatever you need. They have tastings! On a recent visit I was fortunate to be able to taste an amazing blend called Tony's Red. It was fantastic! I am also informed that they have been working with local restaurants to create pairing menus, matching their wines to local cuisines. I am very excited to have such a great business in the area. If you are looking for wine in Jackson Heights, Corona or East Elmhurst, this place is worth a visit! The address of this shop falls victim to the "East Elmhurst" search penalty. Many local businesses are on the other side of an imaginary line drawn on a map which, despite there not being any change when you are walking through the neighborhood, says that you are in another neighborhood depending on what side of the street you are on. Such being the case, searches in Jackson Heights often don't find these businesses. However, if you ask someone on the street where they are, 90 percent of them will think they are still in Jackson Heights. Either way, the Northern Boulevard side of the neighborhood continues to grow and evolve with this great addition!

Came here with some friends and keep telling everyone I meet in the area to try this place. I will be returning, just not on a Monday:)

I rarely write reviews but after visiting this place, I felt like I had to. Moved to JH recently and sooo happy to have found this gem of a place. The guys who work here are so nice and know their wines. I can go in, give them a price range (I'm cheap so usually under $20) and know that it's a great wine (or 6) that I'm going home with. I LOVE this place. Not sure what the previous reviewer Jissel is talking about. Sweetheart if you want to complain about someone else's grammatical errors please check yourself first

This place has the best wine tasting events in town. Whether a wine connoisseur or just plain wino - this is the place in the hood. Not to deter from my favorite wine shop - table wine. Come to the tastings -- there's huuuuge variety of wine and usually a great spread - it feels like you walked into a small dinner party in the mediterranean, instead of wine tasting. It's usually better curated and way closer than trekking it to the hamptons to get your full dose of vinos. It's a must. People are super friendly and you can't leave without feeling like you have to buy a bottle or four on your way out.

This place sucks! This place charged me $40 for a glass of wine and a VERY SMALL appetizer. This place is the worse place I ever been to. I would never go to this place again. The food, service and drinks sucks. A bottle of wine contains like 4% alcohol and there was nothing special about the food. Over charging me for basic food is the reason why this is last place is would ever go to again. I AM RESPONDING TO THE COMMENT THAT THE OWNER JUST POSTED: First off your many grammatical errors replicate the way you run your business. Please learn how to write correctly before posting comments. Next, we specifically told you to split the bill a certain way. You're inability to follow directions correctly also shows how you should not own a business. Also, the TOTAL of the ENTIRE bill was exorbitantly high. The so called 'food' and 'drink' you served us was not worth what you charged us because it was basic and NOT restaurant quality. Anyone with a palate would agree with what I just stated.

Once again, Yelp led us to a good spot! We came here to pick up a few bottles and were totally charmed. It's a nicely decorated wine store and well organized. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Plenty of delicious under $20 bottles to chose from, perfect for entertaining. Addictive has a rewards program and they offer two tastings per week, so definitely worth signing up on their mailing list. Also, across the street is their Addictive Wine Bar and Tapas, that often does prefix of wine & tapas at a relatively affordable price. Highly recommend!

A few days ago I walked by and entered to because this spot caught my attention. I spoke to Rosemary and her friendliness is the reason I returned tonight. I came for the wine tasting and am so happy I did. The selection was delicious and Carlos was very knowledgeable with the selection for the night. I enjoyed myself and spoke to many others at the tasting. This little gem has become a favorite . I plan to return over and over!

I think it's overhyped. Wine selection is not as expected (in the tasting house). Staff were very friendly though!

This is a cute boutique wine shoppe with lots of wines you wouldn't find at at your local spirits store. The Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and have excellent recommendations. Some of their bottles can be on the pricier side but they definitely have something for everyone so don't be shy to ask.

My brother randomly asked me if I wanted to go to a wine tasting and me being the grinch as of lately I said no way! lol Guess what? We ended up at the wine tasting... I was expecting some hole in the wall liquor store in need of business but to my surprise it was actually a beautiful boutique type of place with a pretty neat seat up.. They have a perfectly placed tasting set up arranged for about a dozen people at a time or so with standing space around the table so they can actually cater to about double that or so. They have a table when you first walk in with a wide variety of wine. I in particularly feel in love with a specific semi sweet wine that was refered to me by one the owners and have been back about 5 times with in the week. It is well staffed by the actual owners and they're very Into what they do and are very hospitable... I was very impressed by this place over all.. The part I almost left out was the reason I actually went and how I was convinced. My daughters grand parents are from Peru and brought a bottle of wine back and we drank it when they were away etc. They returned and haven't noticed so I was trying to replace it before they did. My brother had explained to me that they carry a huge variety of imported wines and that if anyone was able to get it or carried it that it would be them. To my surprise they were able to obtain it and stock it regularly. I had no clue what it was even called, I said it's red and sort of sweet and they knew exactly what it was and gave me a day to come back and had it ready for me. I have become a regular and highly recommend it to all!

Why have I never ever stepped in here before?!! What an amazing wine shop. Met the owner on my first visit and he made me feel As if we were friends. Very polite and even shook my hand. There is also a beautiful young lady, I think she is dominican, so sweet and she KNOWS HER WINES. I know nothing but she made some wonderful suggestions and pointed me in the right direction. Prices are great. They have wine tasting every weekend from 6:30-9pm. Every time I go in they remind me but I haven't been able to go yet. I will soon. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. Excellent customer service. Keep it up guys! :)

This is the best wine store. I use to live in Queens but I live in Manhattan now. I make special trips just to buy wine from the owners, very nice guys. There is always something new!

Fantastic, interesting selection with lovely service and a beautiful location. A great addition to the neighborhood; they offer tastings and live music events. I picked up a nice South African red, strong with a clean taste. Love this place!

Have to add that the owners are terrific and friendly and have the best customer service now that I've been coming here for over a year. And they have a 'buy so much, get a bottle free' plan. I always forget and they remind me I'm due for a bottle! Great place.

Stumbled by on my way from grocery store, the store front caught my eye. Small and cozy. Felt like I was walking into a midtown lounge. Much attention to detail!! I'm far from being a wine expert but the gentleman who helped me was very nice and he knows his stuff. Brought my brother in law a wonder french wine and grabbed my favorite, a riesling. Very happy. Feeling lkke K foind some treasure! I wish I was social enough for the wine tastings on the weekends, sounds like a lot of fun. Great idea. To the store: Bon Chance and thank you for bringing a little upscale for us at Jackson Heights minus the attitude. Loved the service and wine enough to join YELP and leave a comment. :)

Boutique is definitely not a misnomer. They have an interesting collection from all around the world, and a bunch of bottles and rarities that will catch your attention. For getting some entrance fee for a party, you probably won't have trouble picking up something. I'm giving these guys a 1-star tough love reduction though because of the non-focus on NY based wines and no ciders - maybe they are more focusing on the S.Americans of the neighborhood. If Table Wine didn't exist, this would probably be the best for miles - but Table Wine could possibly be my favorite wine store ever so it's no competition at all.

This is truly a neighborhood gem! The owner is so helpful and sweet. The environment is very charming and they have a huge selection with great prices! Definitely recommend stopping by for a bottle of wine. I actually learned about they're weekend wine tastings today and can't wait to attend one!

What a happy surprise to discover this boutique wine shop in my neighborhood! I was cooking a tasty Italian pasta dish and craved a light red wine to go with it. Yelp pointed me here, and Patrick took the time to suggest several reds to accompany my meal. This is definitely my new "go-to" place. Can't wait to try the wine bar across the street as well.

The owners are amazing, and I have not experienced a bad moment while I shopped at the store in the past. The owners and their wine selection are impressive, giving the neighborhood. However my husband had the worst experience just last night (3/4/16) when he was looking for a wine priced under $15. The shop girl basically laughed and told him he wouldn't get anything at that price while shopping at Addictive Winery. Strange. I recalled buying wine there for that price when they first open. The bottom line is this: Whoever that salesperson was, she needs to check her attitude. Not only was she unhelpful, she told my husband that his accent was funny (he's English). If that's not discrimination, I don't know what is. Needless to say, he walked out without buying anything.

Best boutique wine shop in Queens, hands down. Where do I begin? The two owners are extremely helpful in selecting wines to your taste and your budget. They're friendly, informative and passionate about their business and their customers - for that I will always come back! Their wines are moderately priced, the location is perfect (right in between Jackson Heights and East Elhmhurst I think haha) and they have WINE TASTING every weekend. Yes, you heard correct, you can taste the wines of a particular region or vineyard every weekend and its paired with cheese and crackers so hello..? Could it get any better? It does. They're teaming up with local restaurants to host dinner & wine pairings every other month or so, so you get to explore cuisine around the area, which is just as extensive as their wine selection. Boom. I will definitely be coming back, probably every week to pick up a new bottle and taste new ones too! Cheers to Francisco & Patrick!

This place is an absolute gem! Foremost, they have an extremely diverse and exciting selection of wines from all over the world. I've never seen most of these wines at other stores, so shopping at Addictive is a huge breath of fresh air! The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable! Francisco, Patrick, Nancy, and the rest of the staff take the time to listen to what I'm interested in. They always seem to find something that exceeds my expectations in quality and price! In a nutshell, this is not your corner liquor store! Shopping at Addictive is an EXPERIENCE! Also, they have free wine tastings on the weekend which are so much fun. Great way to learn about new wines in a relaxed, fun, atmosphere!

This is the best wine store in queens, hands down and bat none. Best wine tastings, excellent selection, knowledgeable staff, and they treat customers like we are all special people. That always recommend something great, and if you live in the area the Thursday wine tastings are a must.

Great selection! Good value! But the most important thing, Amazing experience! I just move to Jackson Heights. It is great to have Addictive close to us. Beautiful store and friendly folks. They do tasting all the time, wine dinners and classes for $15. I just got Addictive to them!!!

This place is a little more expensive. But queens people are way nice, therefore I come here whenever I'm close by, gosh I'm such a lush

We wandered in here after dinner around the corner at La Cabana... having lived in the SF Bay area for over 20 years, was somewhat skeptical about a wine bar/shoppe in this neighborhood, I mean we just cracked open a bottle of 2009 Arrowood Cabernet Sauvingnon (which we brought with us) to La Cabana. Anyhoo, was very pleasantly surprised. Great vibe, welcoming, warm, cool surroundings... love their home made wine bottle wine light fixtures. Owners Patrick and Francesco are passionate about their wines and we ended up chatting quite a bit. If I had moved back in the hood now, I'd be here everyday. Well worth the visit.

This is the go-to wine store in Jackson Heights. The owners are lovely people, the wine tastings are fun. The selection is a nice mix of cheap, mid-range, and special occasion pricing and quality. Most importantly, I've never gotten a corked or disappointing bottle from them - unlike the other wine store in JH.

This place is beautifully designed, large, and has an excellent selection and very nice owners. The atmosphere at the tastings makes you feel like you are at a friend's place for drinks. Love this place and so happy they decided to open in Jackson Heights/Elmhurst.

I was surprised at the variety of the collections of wine, I picked out a nice Chardonnay for my dinner tonight & another bottle of red for later on.

I love how they take care off you like a friend. They always remember my name . I feel special everytime I walk in the place. Plus they open a coffee shop across the winery by the same owner. Omg Omg best coffee in the world. I could still smell the coffee from my house. I love this place.

Completely disagree with Jissel's review below. Her comment concerning the owner's grammatical errors in his response is laudable when she herself misuses "your" with you're." A quick look into her profile reveals that she has nothing better to do than to use her magical yelp fingers to leave small business owners negative reviews when they cannot or do not comply with every single demand no matter how unreasonable. I've been here multiple times and I cannot recommend this place enough and it upsets me when people overreact. Food and drinks are amazing here!

One of the best places in JH, great selection, quality and service. Not a liquor store truly a boutique, if your are looking for good wine this is the spot !

I call myself a wine enthusiast. Always look for good wine with great price. Pass by one day and been attracted by the wine which is special and unique. Love this store and friendly staff, Patrick.

My wife found this shop and we've been attending wine classes/tastings here regularly. It's a beautiful shop, very warm and inviting. The owners are super nice, friendly people and very willing to help you with your selections. It's also great that you get to meet other wine enthusiasts in your community when attending the classes.
