Sandbanks Estate Winery

We went PEC a week ago weekend we picked Sandbanks winery because it’s popular in PEC. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual. Dog friendly too. We picked 3 of each wine for tasting and had some food truck food. I liked their wine. Light and easy to drink but not so much to my husband. Caramelized onion grilled cheese was yummy.

I finally had the opportunity after so many years of travelling to PEC to visit this winery. I. Owns myself as to why I waited so long! 😂 I very much enjoyed the ambiance of the showroom and the two roses I had were great!! The ladies I chatted with were so pleasant and friendly. I walked out with a box full of wine and I hope to return again soon. 😎👍

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming! 🍷 All of their wines — red, rosé, and white — were absolutely delicious. My favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc, which was just amazing! It’s definitely one of their best whites. Don’t miss out on trying their signature wines during the tasting — every single one is worth it!

There's a food truck that opens from from Thursday to Monday. No restaurant on site. The winery do offer wine tasting with food pairings. Very relaxed atmosphere, we enjoyed our wine tasting in a covered cabana. There are lots of outdoor cabanas that are spaced out adequately for wine tasting. It's a very cozy experience, didn't feel crowded at all. Also a wine tour is available.

Jacques was an amazing tour host! Loved learning about the history of winery and his fun way to walk us through the winemaking process. Highly recommend. Oh, and the wines were delicious!

I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary to try the 3 wines for $10, and it was the perfect plan. The weather and the setting were beautiful, and the wines were very good. The only thing I would change is that there was not much explanation. We were seated in a more isolated area, and I noticed that other people had different chairs and wine flights, while we were served one glass at a time. I wasn’t sure if there were different packages or what options were available. Still, it is a great plan to do with family, and even more so if you are a wine lover.

A great spot for a wine tasting. Likely the busiest of the area, they offer a wide selection of wines, including the rarely seen Marsanne varietal (at least in this region). Our group walked away with a number of those bottles as it was a winery exclusive. The Big Red was also a favourite. The staff was excellent and offered a outdoor semi-private area for our group of 10. Well done!
