Café d’Auteur - Specialty Coffee shop & roaster

I surprised why this place still doesn’t have Michelin star. Is it more like coffee boutique, than ordinary 3rd wave speciality coffee cafe. They have more than 10 types of grain in 4 different categories. Even the simplest one worse attention. And collection tier is breathtaking. Every time I am visiting Paris, I try to get into this place. Bravo Cafe D’Auteur Team.

A lovely coffee shop with an impressive selection of coffees from around the world. I tried a latte and it was excellent, with super friendly staff. That said, given the variety of options (and the price point), it would be helpful if the staff could provide clearer guidance on the different coffees. Having them more knowledgeable about the products would really add value for customers looking for the perfect cup—especially if you’re paying €25 for a latte, it’s nice to know which coffee pairs best. Overall, though, I definitely recommend this place!

Very interesting coffee selection and very skillfuly baristas. We had two flat whites of the daily special and they were delicious. Be prepared for quite steep prices, depending on the coffee you go for - they stock some extremely rare varities where an expresso could be above 20€. I do appreciate the wider price range and allowing customer to choose both the coffee and the drink format they want to go for. Also coffees are served with a glass of water and theu have nice and well cleaned toilets, which is always a plus!

Cute cafe with great service and great selections on their menu. They have a very wide range of coffee variety. I really recommend if you are someone who appreciates coffee. We did not know much but we still enjoyed our time there. Think they have a space in the back as well for people who want to come in with their laptops and such(only allowed on weekdays if I am not mistaken).

A nice little spot for specialty coffee in Paris! ☕ The coffee is great, and the place has a cozy vibe, making it perfect for a relaxing break. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm. The only downside is that it’s a bit on the pricey side for a coffee, but overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Specialty coffee was ok. Tried siphon and v60. Still good ,but not the best . Nice service and interior . We enjoyed it

Very expensive, but at the same time extremely delicious coffee! There was a large selection of coffee beans with their detailed descriptions. The most expensive one went up to $20 for an espresso, which seems a little crazy to me. But we settled for coffee at a quarter of the price and were very satisfied. Actually, I have to say, I don't think I've had better coffee in Paris. The attention in the form of a small cinnamon cookie will also please. So this place is for real coffee lovers, but definitely worth it!

The staff here are incredibly friendly and give excellent advice on what to order. If you’re feeling a bit confused about the specialty coffee, prices, or different options, don’t hesitate to ask—they’ll do an amazing job explaining everything. The coffee is fantastic, and the hot chocolate is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the hot chocolate, and for coffee, let the staff recommend something based on your preferences. A 10/10 experience!
