Prior Thornbury

Tried Prior recently and was pleasantly surprised! There’s plenty of seating space which made it easy to settle in without feeling cramped. The food was good - fresh, well-balanced, and nicely plated. The coffee hit the mark too. What stood out most though was the staff - super friendly and welcoming from the get-go. That kind of service always lifts the whole experience. Overall, a solid cafe option.

Love the interior as well as their outdoor seating here! And the food tasted just as good as it looks. On the day we had: - Salted caramel crumpet - Black tahini salmon - Cold brew The crumpet is definitely one of the best I’ve had. Not too sweet and all the texture and flavour combination just a match in heaven. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The crunch from kale and creaminess from the pumpkin hummus, so good! Love their cold brew too. Definitely a must visit brunch place that I highly recommended!

Chilli scramble is 🤌 as is the coffee. The space was a little on the cold side give the front door was open the whole time, but if you can sit near the fire place you’ll be right.

So cute! The curbside seating is lovely for getting a nice bit of morning sun. The outdoor seating is also dog friendly, which is handy. The menu is fresh and contains classics with a funky twist. I had the avocado and feta and it was delicious! The portion size is perfect and the balance of sweet, salty and creamy is just right. The server we had was super friendly and the service was quick despite being busy.

Food and coffee is usually good, but everytime there’s a male barista they’re always rude or just serve the men in the line. And the thing is they choose to come out to be rude. The women have always been friendly and great if I didn’t have to deal with the baristas I’d keep coming

The best thing in this place is the interior design; it is so aesthatically pleasing. The food doesn't taste bad. The fish itself was well cooked. The burnt butter sauce in the egg benedict was good. However, the portions were relatively small compared the prices. Drinks were ok.

Impressive place. The cafe has a lovely modern open design and is very spacious with a nice little outdoor area as well. It’s all done in soft neutral colours which work well. They have lovely staff here. They were up and about, efficient and most polite this morning. I had a mango berry smoothie which was excellent alongside the Bircher muesli. The muesli was extremely good with terrific texture and flavour. The coffee was great too. We had a terrific time. I have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone.

Came here for lunch on a Thursday and loved it! The vibe and colours are so warm and calm. Love the brick flooring and open space. We had the barramundi and chilli eggs on toast which were both delicious. Service was super friendly and will make sure to come back in future.
