Monsterella Pizza

Wow! We were just blown away by our experience at Monsterella tonight. It looked really busy when we parked, but we were able to be seated at a set of bar seats right away. The waitress was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for dessert. The pizza came out amazingly quickly. The crust was delicious and all the flavors came together nicely. The chili oil is homemade, and we were told the intensity can vary. Highly suggest trying a drop out! Sitting at the bar gave us a nice view of the whole restaurant, which I think really added to the first time experience. They checked back in for dessert orders once we were done with the pizza, and the dessert came out promptly too. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly. Excited to make it a regular local stop 😊

Wow, is this the best pizza restaurant in Perth? Indeed! The pizza dough and crust is out of this world! Thin, full of flavour, done just right. You must try it! We tried the carbonara too - the aroma of the truffle and the olive oil cream, simply exquisite. The tiramisu, is also a must try, though a tad more alcohol would be nice, but this is a personal preference. Highly recommended place, thumbs up!

Absolutely wonderful tasting food. The carbonara is definitely worth the try with a side of wood fire pizza. My wife and I call it our once in a Blue Moon treat to attend this restaurant and order our specials. The staff are extremely friendly and are not shy to have a laugh with you. The pictures themselves do it justice aswell. Looking at them and its just so mouth watering

Lovely food, and super friendly helpful staff! There wasn’t a long wait for food which was great. We had the Vege pizza and the Spaghetti Aglio - both delicious. Followed by chocolate ice cream sandwich, and a strawberry sorbet. Feedback: please can the team look into if their cheeses are vegetarian suitable, because some cheeses contain animal rennet making them non-suitable… those that contain non-animal rennet would be suitable. It would be suuuuper helpful if there was some clarity on this to be sure that vegetarian seeming dishes on the menu are fully vegetarian :) much appreciated!

Really enjoyed the pizzas here! We ordered takeaway and they were so quick. The Milliano was my favourite.

Vego, GF options. Warm inside. Some tables outside. A little noisy to eat here. Liked the true Italian flavour. Music could be less base. Millano, Hunter have more meat. Parking: drive with friends. BYO

Truffle Carbonara was absolutely delicious! Hand made pasta with love. Well cooked broccolini with nice seasoning. Also, the front staff lady who was wearing glasses was super friendly, all the staffs are very high standards for customer service. Thank you all chefs for sure! =)

Tried the truffle carbonara and was genuinely impressed — the pasta was cooked to perfection, and the truffle flavour was rich and aromatic without being overpowering. We also ordered the Al pizza which was a perfect balance between sweet and savoury. Highly recommend this spot!

Oh boy, pizza doesn't get much better than this. Authentic thin bases with super creative toppings with combinations that never disappoint. Be sure to make a booking as this place is always heaving.

I got takeaway from here a few months back... think this could be the best authentic Italian pizza in Perth!

Try hard decor reminiscent of New York pizza shops a la 33 Havemeyer St, Brooklyn (The Mecca), but ultimately fails more like a pizza shop in BroadMeadows. The interior smelt like a rugby changing room after a particular grueling match on a record breaking hot day in England. You have to go up to the counter to order and pay (why?), which is just as well when you see the puny size of the pizza's, you would be demanding your money back. Pizza has the highest profit margin for a food product in restaurants, Monsteralla takes this to a new level. The small pizza was the SMALLEST PUNIEST pizza I have ever seen, Io non credo. Ned Kelly would have been a regular customer, reprobates stick together. Also tried the Spaghetti and Meatballs, imagine a fresh pasta drowned in a tin of Cambell's tomato soup, 4 PUNY meatballs the size of IKEA's KottBollar (meatballs), balanced on top. I will leave this restaurant to the lost and unwashed of Wembley, its kinda save to live in ignorance.

Monsterella's is the best new Italian place around! It mainly just does woodfire pizzas, pastas and salads, as well as a few starters but everything I've tried from there is delicious. I believe the family who owned it lived in Italia for a number of months and have really perfected the art of simple, Italian meals. And the best things about this place..... is that they do gluten free pasta and pizza and it is delicious!!! You honestly cannot taste the difference, I was even worried they got my order wrong the first time but they assured me it was gluten free and I didnt have a stomachache afterwards yay! I have eaten at so many places that try gluten free stuff and it just is never the same and I am so happy one place has finally nailed it. I've tried a variety of meals from there including the pastas, a number of the different pizzas, and two of the salads and everything I've eaten there has been delicious. All the ingredients are super fresh- the special salad I had last time had tomatoes fresh from their garden that day! It is a super popular place now so you do have to book in advance on busy evenings- usually wednesday - sunday if you are going in a larger group and it is BYO but they also do take away as well. Definitely have to try this place out if you haven't already.

I thought we'd reached 'peak' woodfired pizza in Perth, boy was I wrong - Monsterella takes it to a new level. The dough is amazing, the toppings are creative and the flavours are just insane.

Fantastic traditional Italian pizzas and family house made pasta. Thin wood fired crust just delicious. Small range of delicious pasta-the truffle papardelle carbonara and spaghetti with meatballs were just delicious. We ordered delivery and it came as promised in 30 minutes. Great Friday night meal!

This place is the best. Pizza are amazing and the Carbonara Truffle pasta to keep for yourself.
