An excellent unassuming hole in the wall with great music and superb food. A limited but impactful menu we smashed everything and it was soooo gooood! We ate with our 9 years old twins and we ordered a lot of food. We ordered the chili cucumber, the miso brinjal, the fried chicken hamburgers, the legendary duck tataki, and plain chicken burgers (the ones we ordered for the kids were too spicy but so delicious we ate them!!) They also have Kirin Ichiban on tap! It’s a small cosy space so make sure you arrive early and enjoy! ❤️❤️

Boom boom boom. It has been a year that this place was on my want to go list, and I finally visited the restaurant with my mother. I was surprised to see that the place looked like a fast food joint from the open small kitchen to the seats and the tables. But then it all made sense, it is a Japanese fast food restaurant, offering greattt Japanese street food. Everything was great but here is my take on the dishes. The Omelette: Tastebud explosion thanks to the perfectly cooked eggs with amazing textures from the bacon to the japanese fish. Then the mayo and bbq sauce complemented this dish perfectly. Flawless. The iberico pork was tasty as well with a good sauce. The sauce could have had bolder flavours (more garlic more vinegar or acids?) but the taste of the iberico made up for the small shortcomings of the sauce. The mushroom sautee was everything you wanted it to be, earthy, buttery and comforting. The pepper steak was the dish that excited me the least until….until I got to the bottom of the hot stone, where the rice cooked till it got caramelized. That caramelized rice bite I had at the end saved the dish. It was mediocre until that last bite, and that last bite was sufficient to upgrade the dish to Excellent! I am coming back!!

I didn’t expect to find such amazing Japanese cuisine in Paris. I highly recommend this restaurant; the beer, duck meat, noodle salad, and the rice dishes are fantastic. It’s the perfect meal to enjoy after finishing work at the end of the day. Great food and price. Merci pour ce délicieux repas!

The fried chicken was super juicy and crunchy! It was really good! Over all the food was fresh and well cooked but everything lacked seasoning! I think the chef doesn’t like using salt?? The tofu and fish were incredibly bland. The wine selection sucks!!!

When the chef with Michelin star tells you: “Go and try this young Japanese guy with lot of potential” you should listen and do what he tells you. This is hiden gem of Parisian gastronomy. You come in and pass by open kitchen, nice smell is a sign you are at the right place. I am not the expert to show best pics, neither the poet who can write about this place. But you can trust me: I ate so much good food in my life, but this is one of the best places last years I visited. The real reason to come back to Paris again.

Our favorite Japanese restaurant in Paris! We have ordered the chef’s menu (approx 50€ per person for dinner) and it is magnificent: tasteful, generous and changed daily depending on seasonal ingredients. The atmosphere is also very cool with music and an attentive service. Best dinner experience!

One of my favorite restaurants. Everything on the menu was bussing. PS. Make sure you get there at 7pm cuz it's usually hard to get a spot duringthe weekends

As an Izakaya should be! Delicious duck, udon noodles and tofu. The natural wines make a perfect pairing. Right off the canal with fantastic friendly service. They keep it movin, (in out smash grab go!)
