I had severe diarrhoea afterwards. The soup didn’t seem fresh, and I suspect it wasn’t refrigerated properly.
Update in response to the owner: My friend also became sick afterward, even though she ordered completely different dishes. This makes it unlikely that the issue was due to a “sensitive stomach,” as suggested.
As for the hygiene concerns: the chili oil and other condiments ALL were left out at room temperature. With Bali’s heat and an open-air second floor, this isn’t a safe way to store them. Proper storage would help prevent contamination and similar issues for future customers.
