Wow, full service, down-to-earth, reasonable and fast! Thanks to Village Cycle and Adam for your fantastic service! I've been a customer since early 2000 and am always impressed
Updated 5/11/20 - Again, I was blown away by Village Cycle's service, especially during this pandemic. I'd also like to commend the staff at Village Cycle, I watched them navigate some horrendous behaviors from customers during this time.
To all the shoppers out there, I am grateful you are trying to keep the economy going, but our world has changed quickly, and as shoppers, we need to fulfill the responsibilities in public to keep everyone safe so that we can continue to have stores open like Village Cycle. I witnessed customers with no masks trying to cut in line and customers walk to the entrance, unhook the rope and walk in, even though there are signs with clear directions on how to keep everyone safe. We are not in a position to safely browse and shop in stores anymore. Please let that sink in. When customers are met with this response, they immediately go into a rage, quickly become Karen, ask for a manager, and threaten with bad reviews. Wow! The best was watching entitled customers try to talk down the prices. Do you think your money is more valued than someone else's? Like many tangible items, production on bikes has halted during this pandemic. If you can't fork over the cost of the bike available, there's probably 3 other people right behind you who can. Please stop wasting everyone else's time. I also witnessed a lot of large families showing up to purchase one bike. Really?!?! Come on people, use your common sense!
Know what you need, get in, get out as quickly as possible. That should be everyone's motto. And please, stop being difficult and entitled, the poor staff of Village Cycle are doing the best they can, but none of you are helping during this time. Know what you need, put on a mask, follow directions, get in line, wait your turn, and then thank them for working. It's that simple.
