Busy coffee shop , coffee ☕️ has a good taste especially the espresso and the cortado. The pastries are fresh also. Always a great experience.

Had a disappointing experience at this coffee shop that completely turned me off. I walked in holding my puppy—he was calm, quiet, and tucked in my arms while I was ordering a coffee to go. Nothing disruptive, nothing dramatic. Just a peaceful pup and a quick stop, like I’ve done many times at other nearby cafés, including Happy Goat just a block away. Out of nowhere, a staff member abruptly told me I had to leave—right as I was about to pay for my order and leave anyway. There was no sign on the door stating that dogs weren’t allowed, and the way it was handled felt cold, unwelcoming, and frankly unnecessary. You don’t treat customers like that—especially when they’re being respectful and about to spend money. I only stopped here because I was feeling lazy and didn’t want to walk the extra block to Happy Goat—but after this encounter, I was more than happy to make the walk. When I got there, it was packed full of people, vibrant and welcoming, while Bridgehead was practically empty—for obvious reasons. I understand there are rules, but there’s also a thing called customer service. Next time, just say “please leave your puppy outside” when I walk in—not after I’ve waited, ordered, and am about to pay. I won’t be coming back.

We tried the iced mochas, matcha colada, and orange creamsicle. All the drinks were excellent, especially the matcha colada. Unfortunately, we noticed flies on the snacks, which completely put us off from ordering food. Later, when my wife went back inside she noticed some fruit flies as well.

Exceptional service from the staff member working the cash and food service on Friday, July 18th, 2025, upon opening. While I was journaling and enjoying my breakfast, I was struck by this individual’s composure in the face of several challenging interactions. For instance, one customer was shockingly rude for no apparent reason. I overheard this man say to the cashier, with unexpected hostility, "You're smiling because you don't know / I hope your day improves," before walking out. Despite the uncalled-for verbal abuse, the employee remained poised and continued to offer warm, attentive service to the next guests. On top of that, the flat white and breakfast wrap were delicious. The barista on shift that morning was clearly a pro. My only suggestion would be to consider having a third staff member during opening hours, given the high volume of customers. You can afford it. This might just become my regular morning spot.

My initial experience at this coffee shop was quite remarkable. The service provided was prompt, efficient, and exceptionally amiable. It was evident that one of the employees was new, but the other employee showed great support and assistance during a brief period of increased demand. Witnessing such exemplary teamwork was truly delightful. I opted for the Pumpkin Pie Crush, and it exceeded my expectations. I relished every sip while comfortably seated inside the establishment, taking note of the meticulous upkeep and cleanliness of the premises. Admittedly, the only minor setback I encountered was the slightly elevated price point. However, the stellar service I received more than compensated for this aspect.

Bridgehead Coffee is a great local chain that I believe is only found in the Ottawa area. I really enjoy their iced latte and americano, both are smooth, flavorful, and consistently well made. It’s a nice spot to grab a quality coffee, and I like supporting a local brand that roasts its own beans and focuses on sustainability.

As a broke-ish student always on the hunt for a good study spot: good for a laptop but not if you have a bunch of books. Great lattes and love the fact that their cups are more eco friendly! Also have a good selection of non dairy options but with a cost of course.
