"Wicks Park, Marrickville by The Laser Co. Garage-chic décor, fast service and exceptional double roasters 'flight path' coffee. Come here for a buzzy weekend brunch, or to read the paper mid week accompanied by some of Marrickville’s best coffee."

I’ve been coming to this spot since its Double Roasters days over ten years ago! And it’s still one of Marrickville’s most consistent cafes. The coffee remains absolutely on point. My go-to is the long black, which they serve with a side of sparkling water. A small, but classy touch that really cleanses the palate between sips. For lunch, I went simple with bacon and eggs and as always, it hit the spot. Their menu has plenty of more indulgent options too, like the croque monsieur which I’ve had before and would happily recommend if you’re after something heartier. The space itself has that signature Marrickville warehouse conversion charm: light, open, and buzzing with a trendy cafe feel. On a sunny day though, it’s hard to resist sitting outside. The fresh air and relaxed atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a slow and easy brunch. Wicks Park Cafe is still one of the Inner West’s best long-standing cafes. Great coffee, honest food, and a vibe that never goes out of style.

I have been to this cafe several times now and each time it has been exceptional. Great food, fantastic, efficient service, friendly staff, great coffee & great value. The coffee is strong & well made. Babycino comes with a big fluffy marshmallow. Food is fresh, beautifully presented & made well. Loves the Nutella French toast which is decadent but not overly so. Big breakfast has a taste of everything especially if you don't know what you want & such a good hearty meal. The bowls/salads are not at all boring or bland & os healthy & tasty. Eggs are well made both poached or scrambled. I love the potato rosti & paired with summery squash, zucchini & asparagus, makes this such a spring/summer dish. All thumbs up.

Food was decent with reasonable prices, coffee wasn't to our taste though. Chicken schnitzel burger was tender and juicy. Chips were really good, hot and crispy. The alleyway beside it has outdoor seating. Planes passing by overhead is quite annoying though, extremely loud and makes it almost impossible to talk.

The inner west old warehouse turned delicious coffee and breakfast hipster place has done it again with Wicks Park Cafe. The piccolo has a very smooth flavor. The Croque Monsieur is basically a ham and cheese toasty on cheese steroids! Smashingly delicious!!! Every bit of flavour mouthgasms you. The big breakfast is all fresh all delish! Get the poached eggs for some stunning yolkporn! The nutella french toast is a banana bread french toast, thick cut, soft, sweet and pure crack! The service is quick, friendly and the barista shimmies while making coffee. Be ready for a day sprawled out on the couch in food coma. Or be boring like the date on the table next to us and share one dish! Actually, don't... you'll regret it!

What a suburban gem!! Double Roasters coffee, delicious cafe food and kids menu and beautiful staff. Loved it. There’s a disabled bathroom and although there isn’t a change table, there’s a table which you can use (make sure you have a change mat). Park on the side streets and you won’t regret the wonderful meal you’ll have

Such a great cafe! Incredible service, plenty of space, covid aware and awesome coffee and food. I give this cafe 5/5 Melbourne’s- get it? Cafe capital of Aus- until March but still works. What I loved was the vibe, the quality, the service and being reasonably priced. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Kid friendly too

Excellent food choices, friendly and efficient staff. Inside or outside dining with way more tables than implied by the street view. Definitely worth a visit.

Overall food was really good, food order was missed, but they did rectify that immediantly and food was very promptly served. Overall staff were all very friendly and attentive. Plus point for having the balls to display 100s of toilet rolls in the bathroom in this crisis 👍

Yelp
Great long blacks, delicious food, friendly service and comfortable warehouse feels. This was my second time here, had to bring my partner to try it too! We had brekky on a Sunday, I can't believe how many orders they were preparing for uber eats. Aside from the frantic ness of all that, we got all of our orders in good time and it was all very tasty. Would definitely come back. They have a good balance between simple and interesting items, will definitely be coming back to try more :)

Yelp
I have to say .... In short ...... the coffee is one of the best in the Inner West ...... the food is well thought out .... prepared and presented. The old ...and the new .... a good selection without going overboard ....... I highly recommend this cafe to anyone wanting high quality with a fair price attached. Highly recommended if you are planning other activities nearby ..... a great starting point ...... from here one can explore many other hidden gems in the MARRICKVILLE area.

Yelp
To my amazement, they have not served one bad coffee yet. Reasonable fast, let you pay a single coffee with your credit card, even AMEX, without pointing out some company policies they just made up to annoy you. Tables are spaced very comfortable, not as some overcrowded places in the area. Romantic little backyard, in a Newtown-hipster sort of way. The kale salad can be a good sized meal, but I think the healthy part is washed out with lots of cream cheese and dressing. But then again, how else can you eat kale? Top place. Can't wait to get my next take away coffee there.

Yelp
I have been here three times. The first two times I had to get water for my table myself even though they said they would bring it out to us. The second time the place smelt vaguely and persistantly like poop and our server forgot about us and the third time I had the yogurt and 'seasonal' fruit option which was overpriced for the cheap fruits they give you and insubstantial. Most of their dishes are great and so is the coffee but I chose other local cafes over this busy one everytime now.
