Yanni's Coffee

THE best cookies in NYC. Being an absolute cookie lover and having tried tons over multiple years, these beat all of them. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside with pronounced flavors and a perfect balance of sweetness. Would even go as far as choosing the oatmeal cookie before the chocolate chip one but if you get the chance, try both - you won’t regret it!

I’ve gotten into the habit of stopping by Yanni’s Coffee during my lunch breaks, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a charming, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. The staff is super sweet and always brings great energy. The coffee? Solid. But the real star for me is their chocolate chip walnut cookie—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. And honestly, discovering this right before summer? Not great timing! Haha.

I ordered cappuccino and it was really impressive! I like their music and everyone was chill here.

The best chocolate chip cookies in town!! They come with or without walnuts! The cookies are priced fairly. It's worth the money and time to get into this small shop. Give yourself a treat that won't disappoint. *UPDATE* NOVEMBER 23RD 2023 * The excellence continues at Yanni's Coffee. Busy, dog friendly, and outstanding staff. The only change is a slight price hike on the cookies. With this horrible economy we are all living in, it's to be expected. What more could you ask for. Just go and support this great little shop. They continue to earn it by providing quality coffee and those fabulous cookies we can't do without every time we visit New York. A must.

This was a really nice discovery in NYC! It’s not a huge place but it’s coffee it’s simply amazing. It was a warm day so I had an iced latte and it didn’t disappoint. They also have some nice cookies and pastries you cannot resist. Highly recommend it

The coffee was okay, nothing special. Not a variety of flavors. The cookie was good. The staff were not welcoming or nice. I had a tall asian girl take my order and she showed 0 enthusiasm. She was not interested while answering the questions I had, no smile on her face, she seemed uninterested & unwelcoming. I expect servers to be nice & at least smile. I kept smiling at her and she just seemed disgusted. Will not be returning.

Yanni’s is the only shop in NYC that’ll I go to besides my own willingly. The batch brew is always extracted to perfection rotating beautiful coffees roasted by SEY. Delicious housemade cookies. And all of it is served to you with a smile by an owner and staff who care. I love this place.

We visited Yanni’s Coffee randomly on our way to Chelsea and were appealed by the crowd. The decor is simple and artsy with lots of greens and cozy ambiance. They use coffee from SEY and their pastries are from Balthazar. Both stores were two of my favorites and the best brands in NYC. We got their handmade Chocolate Chip Cookie as an afternoon dessert and it was really good, soft & not too sweet. They also serve Oatmeal & Vegan Chocolate Chip and we would like to try next time.
