I went here for a friend's birthday and really enjoyed the place. They have big booths and high ceilings. We're a pretty jovial, perhaps even raucous crowd and this place was built for reverie. The only complaint comes from one of my friends, but I do agree: they don't give you full egg yolks. Neither with the yukhoe nor the sukiyaki. My friend's problem is that you don't get enough egg yolk; he thinks they're only giving half the yolk. My problem is that I enjoy the aesthetic experience of breaking the yolk, piercing the membrane and watching it ooze. It's kind of erotic--don't take that the creepy way: I don't mean it sexually...it's just that there's a sensory pleasure in the experience. We ordered the standard yakiniku dinner and it was fantastic. The meat was high quality. All of the sides and salads and appetizers were great. Especially the sashimi thing. They do a fantastic job transitioning you between fatty and lean beef. The tongue was outstanding. And the strip cut they give for skukiyaki was exceptionally flavorful. I chose curry rice as my finishing course and had ice cream for dessert. Both were good. This place is not cheap, but also not nearly as expensive as some of the other yakiniku places around. The place has a very modern feel, with minimalist fixtures and design. Service was perfect.

Great restaurant, everything was tasty. We ordered the basic, but it was good value for everything we got. The beef was so melt in your mouth flavorful and even the dessert was great. I would come back again.

Our local friend recommended this place and it was such a lively surprise. The food is yummy and filling. Come hungry because you will be served various meat and veggie dishes. Our favorite was the seasonal soup and marinated meat. The staff is exceptionally friendly and we will visit again soon.

We arrived without a reservation and our server Misaki and the rest of the restaurant staff were kind enough to fit us in between other reservations. Service was excellent and one of the chefs came out to check in with us too. The set course meal offered a pretty big portion and variety for a very reasonable price. Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area.
