Stopped here because of other reviews, I’m glad I did! Wahhh I’m a burger nerd and I constantly am trying burgers everywhere I go. This burger jumped right to #2 on my list. It was absolutely delicious! Fries were great too! Staff was friendly, 80’s rock was playing the place is a whole vibe. I honestly might stop back by again before I leave. Great work guys! 5+ stars

This is an excellent neighborhood Burger/ sandwich place. The food is great. The service is prompt, friendly and polite. The atmosphere is calm and it looks like a diner. They play old Rock and Roll music from the 1960s. It is a fun place to visit and get a good meal. We are tourists from the US and we liked it so much we came back another day for another dinner.

Their hamburgers are so good!! We came around 18:30 and half an hour later it was packed and there was a line to enter and order. But the service is good, the food as well and the restaurant has nice decorations and atmosphere. The music is not too loud. Great experience!

2024-March. Party of 7, Thursday @ 7:35 PM. There were parking spaces at the front but only a couple were open. There was no line at the counter and we seated ourselves. The ambiance is ok.. tea lights in the ceiling and the background music is low enough to be able to have a good conversation. The facility is clean. 2 restroom stalls at the back. We ordered at the counter and our order came out in a few minutes. Our chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and coffee shakes were soooo good 😋 The burgers are delicious as well! So far, these are the best burgers we have consumed here in Iceland since we got here.. Give it a try if you're missing some good-tasting burgers, fries, and shakes! Bon Appétit 😋! First sit down restaurant we went to in Reykjavik and it ruined the food experience everywhere else for the entire week. The steak burger was the tastiest thing I've ever eaten in 40 of the lower 48 states. At every place we ate the rest of the week, the food was compared against that burger. I regret not being able to go back a second, third, or even fourth time, because I seriously could eat one of the steak burgers for every meal the rest of my life. Go here, have the steak burger. It WILL change your life.

Tommi's is a bit of an institution in Reykjavik, well worth looking at the history. There are plenty of locations to choose from all doing a simple menu that still has a good variety of burgers. We went for the steak burger, fries and sweet potato fries. All the food tasted amazing and there is a large section of toppings and sauces you can help yourself to so it becomes your burger. Highly recommended.

Delicious burgers! No complaints! The front desk staff were very polite and friendly. We both tried the Classic burger (120g, $14 alone) and split the fries/drink (combo was ~$20CAD) we also tried the vanilla milkshake, it was also great--somehow, not too sweet! Quick service, decent prices for how expensive Iceland is.

Tommi’s Burger Joint delivers solid burgers every time – they never disappoint. But the place could use a bit more passion and energy from the staff to match the food.
