Aqua - Restaurant & Bar

Horrible. How did anyone eat here and give this restaurant a good review? We had a reservation for tonight (Sunday) at 8:30 pm. There were only four other couples in here, which gave me the creeps. Why was this place virtually empty at dinner time? I ordered the shrimp cocktail to have as my meal. The fishy smell about knocked me over, but I tried it anyway. I chocked down three of the 15 shrimp. It was torture. AWFUL tasting shrimp! My daughter ate the Francesihna sandwich and she liked it. Even the cheese board was a joke for 12 euro. We’ve been eating really good food the entire time we’ve been here. This place was a huge mistake. Don’t waste your time coming here!

We came here dor dinner and sunset. The view of the ocean was amazing. There's a large dining area outside facing the ocean and you get a magnificent view of the sunset. The cod with potatoes was ok, although the portion was large enough to share. The caipirinhas were excellent, except the served it with too much ice. And for dessert we had the Copa Morango, which was delicious and generous in size. We parked across the street. Overall, we really enjoyed this restaurant and would come back again.

Service was friendly and the setting is beautiful, but food was just ok. The Bacalhau couldn’t convince us. We had much better in Portugal before.

A fantastic spot to dine by the beach! The food was exceptional, with both seafood and meat dishes impressing everyone at our large table. Each dish was cooked to perfection, and the staff was friendly and efficient, handling our big order with ease. The only suggestion I would make is to reduce the sweetness of the sangria a bit, as it was slightly too sugary for everybody’s taste.

Excellent service, good food with wide variety of options and perfect ocean view! Must go, if you are in the area!

We had snacks/lunch here for the first time last weekend. The views are stunning (it's right on the water)! The tropical salad was very tasty and the Pate was delicious as well! Drinks were okay and the service was good!

Very rude. I’ll skip the fact that this café never opens on time - but today was just beyond disappointing. It was around 9:05, and I was trying to see if anyone was inside. A woman was cleaning the windows, clearly pretending not to notice me. I waited by the entrance. When she finally opened the door, I greeted her - no reaction. I said hello again, and she reluctantly replied with a very unfriendly tone. I asked if the place was open, and she rolled her eyes and said, with attitude, “I’m trying to open right now.” Then she started sweeping the floor and literally swept the dirt toward me. I was honestly in shock and eventually, I just left. It’s such a shame, because the café has a beautiful location by the ocean, and the last time I came, breakfast was delicious and the two men working then were very kind and welcoming. But today’s experience was not just poor service - it was plain rude and insulting. I honestly don’t understand how such behavior is acceptable in the 21st century.

Food was tasty and the view couldn't be beat. We tried pastel de nata shots and giggled through them. Staff was lovely. I wish I lived nearby.
