Amazingly friendly service in this busy touristy area. They even serve matcha as free drinks. the udon and rice we ordered are absolutely delicious, and the tempura is a must to order dish. They know how to make ordinary-looking food super delicious.

Traditional restaurant with probably the best Kitsune udon I have had. The broth is tasty and the flavour deep. The tofu is well prepared and the portions are great. The atmosphere is calm and friendly. The staff are very attentive and friendly. You pay by the entrance after receiving the bill at the table. For the tatami dining area, please take of your shoes. The provided slippers are to be used when needing to go to the toilet and should not be used to walk onto the tatami mats. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back. There is also an option for normal chairs and table seating if that is preferred, which does not have tatami mats.

This was my first experience at a traditional udon restaurant (non chain). The flavor of the broth was very good. I also had the mixed tempura. Overall I enjoyed my meal and would comeback.

Delicious food, well presented. The soba noodles were cooked the japanese equivalent of “al dente”, the dipping soup was well seasoned and a touch of wasabi added to the flavours rather than overpowering them. The smoked duck starter we got was an excellent blend of flavours, pairing surprisingly well with the dijon mustard and the soy-sauce marinated leeks added a bit of umami.

We went there for dinner and ordered their recommended dishes. The udon had a nice chewy texture, and the sauce was flavorful — overall, a satisfying meal. The later you go, the longer the line-up tends to be, so it’s best to visit a bit earlier if you can.

We enjoyed the oyakodon so much!! The udon was great too The lady was so warm and polite too I went there to put down my name on the waiting list and only waited for a while for our turn We will be back!

They had menus in various languages. Staffs are friendly. Udons broth flavourful best for cold weather!

Outstanding in every regard. Literally, worth a trip to Osaka just for this. Delicious food, delicate and generous service, nice decor, and amazing value. Simply sublime.
