At 2PM, the cute little restaurant was busy which we love to see. Our server was friendly and super helpful, assisting us with selecting what it is we wanted to eat. In pursuit of eating a vegetable, I went for the Caesar salad and was thoroughly satisfied with my meal. Oh and also, their mimosa deal is a STEAL. Great spot for brunch!

This location was a pleasant surprise for brunch. The location is surrounded by on street parking and lot parking on weekends. It can get busy no reservations necessary food was tasty. Portions were good. Options varied. The Location can get a bit loud as the dining room fills out. I would suggest arriving early to avoid waiting and to avoid the large groups. They do have a nice small patio at the side of the restaurant, which is great for outdoor dining, but further away from servers as it got busier the service became slower and we found ourselves trying to flag down our server overall, I would definitely recommend this location and will be back again

The food is okay but limited options for me - mushroom toast gets very soggy but flavours are good, omelettes don’t come with toast on the side and the mushroom and spinach benedict I had recently had mustard slathered on the muffin which did not go well with the other flavours in my opinion. I’ve always liked their fries and salad though! They make the plate look beautiful! Check pics! The servers are friendly but forget to bring coffee refills after having asked for it. I understand if it is once in a while but have experienced this here on numerous occasions. The service is generally slow so great for relaxing weekend brunches. I also find the music to be quite loud to have a conversation with someone across the table. Mimosas for $4 are good!

What a friendly environment! We went for brunch and we greeted by an atmosphere that felt like home. Friends gathering, and many regulars coming through to smiles and greetings. The brunch was spectacular! The full English and the breakfast poutine were sure highlights. Definitely returning for food again!

British Pub environment, faint smell of last night's beers, but to our surprise the brunch was excellent! Our server was friendly and you cannot go wrong with 5$ mimosas. Tasty mocktails too! Will definitely come back to sample other items. Our impulse adventure turned out to be quite satisfactory.

Fantastic Brunch & Cocktails – A Perfect Combination! We stopped by for a late brunch, and it turned out to be an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern rustic touch. The food was beautifully presented and, most importantly, absolutely delicious. I had Eggs Benedict with a fresh side salad, and everything was cooked to perfection—the eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise sauce was rich and velvety, and the combination with tender meat on an English muffin made it a standout dish. My friend went for the omelet, which was also packed with flavor and paired well with a light and refreshing salad. After brunch, we decided to try their cocktails, and they were a pleasant surprise! The drinks were well-crafted, beautifully garnished, and had a great balance of flavors. The cocktail with cinnamon and citrus had a wonderful aromatic touch, while the herbal-infused drink was refreshing and smooth. Definitely a great way to extend our brunch experience. I joined a company dinner during the holidays, and had their holiday dinner special (appetizer, main course, and dessert). I loved the cozy vibes this place gives. It is the perfect place to have dinner with family or friends. The food was delicious and filled me up on a cold winter day.

New favourite bar in Etobicoke. The happy hour value is the best I have ever seen by far in this economy ! First time having a scotch egg and we are now obsessed with them, crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside, the Caesar salad was exceptional as well. Highly recommend

Omg! I was so surprised by the place! Went there for a quick bit with my girl and it didn't disappoint. Kitchen on Sixth gives a very cozy vibe. A lot of families were there eating dinner. We were caught between the chicken waffle and the Sunday roast so we decided to share to get the best of both worlds. I would definitely recommend the chicken waffle over the Sunday roast. The flavors with the blueberry !! Wow! The service was amazing too! I'm definitely going back again! Especially for the chicken waffle

We dined with friends. We enjoyed the happy hour pricing on appetizers and tried several including beef carpaccio, scotch egg, tacos, and calamari. The house red wine was excellent and at $6 a glass very good value. Our server was friendly and efficient and service was excellent. This is a friendly restaurant with a good ambiance. A good place for a social gathering or an intimate meal.

This was pleasant accidental walk in find of classic brunch food. All the classics with a mimosa $5 special! The menu didn't have anything particularly unique but it did classic well. I really liked the strawberry French toast I had and my partner had the fish and chips, he liked his-"Not too greasy and fresh" The restaurant is smaller but we easily got tables on a Saturday morning. I would come back if I was in the area.

came here for a anniversary recently, after years of driving by this place/checking out the menu online came here on a Wednesday, and was a bit of a odd visit. (first day of the week they are open) was given the menu, an asked if some item ordered can be altered "that item isn't in the meal" it's in print, on your menu "let me double check" thankfully the item was not included in the item i was personally trying to avoid, but then the sandwich was absolutely smothered in fried onions that absolutely rubbed the inside of my mouth for a couple of days after the fact. the omelet with the veggie sausage substitution was from the beyond meat brand which dominated the flavor of the meal for me. my partner, thankfully enjoyed everything. the service was nice, friendly, and a touch on the pushy side, as we were told to "come on Sunday, our busiest day" multiple times decent atmosphere, visually, but the music was a touch too loud and the playlist was all over the map for a selection of tunes, you could tell it wasn't a radio station, but someone's playlist. they have one of my favorite bottles of whisky, unfortunately, I don't drink in public anymore was decent, would go back, but not for a bit.

I love a good eggs benedict, and this spot truly satisfied the craving. The salmon and lemon curd upgrade was the best choice I could have made cause the tinge of sweet with this savory meal was one of the best things I've tasted. Even the fries were perfectly seasoned that I didn't even need to eat it with ketchup. This spot is definitely worth visiting!

Came by for a quick meal. We sat at the patio, it was fairly quiet for a weekend. Their outdoor patio is very nice. We got the fish and chips. The seasoned chips were absolutely delicious. The service was great. I'll definitely be back to try their dinner menu

I stopped in to sit on the shaded patio and have a cup of coffee. The interior is really nice and has great atmosphere and the patio was quiet and peaceful despite being street side. I had a coffee with an espresso shot, three eggs and bangers and they were quite possibly the best bangers I've ever had. They were short stubby and just delicious. I would return simply to have those again. Service was prompt and friendly and overall it was an excellent experience. I will definitely return Despite the experience being really good, the bill was less than $20. Great food, great service and great value.

Really good food with really great staff. Grumpy old guys like me, like the noise level really quiet, but no real problems here. People out on the town, having fun and enjoying each other's company shouldn't be a bad thing. I travelled from the East End to meet friends and was pleased (very pleased) that I found this place. High reviews on the web are justifiable. Thanks for making the evening a memorable one. Chicken curry, fish and chips, fried sole all outstanding. Starters of beet/pear salad, samosas and calamari, all memorable. Damn those fries were good. Deserts also outstanding.

We came here as we wanted to have an English breakfast and not too many places offer it in Toronto especially on weekdays. I got the half English breakfast and my partner got the full English breakfast. For the full English breakfast, then ran out of white pudding so they subbed it for another black pudding. We also ordered a side of chicken and waffles which came with one piece of waffle along with one piece of chicken. I was debating on if I wanted that or the English breakfast as a main, so I'm happy they had an option to have it as a side. We both enjoyed the English breakfast and the fries were really good!

So glad I checked this place out. Patrons are physically distanced from each other and there's a bottle of hand sanitizer on each table! I came for a late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the Yorkie dish. It was tasty and filled me up without overfilling me. The Americano that I had was also very good. I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

I love Kitchen on Sixth. It is such a cute little vibe in there. the decor is really nice and the few waitresses we have had always are really sweet and attentive. I have been here a handful of times and I get the grilled cheese every time! it's too darn good!! i also love their espresso martinis!

I was looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion, and I noticed this joint down on Lakeshore. The menu looked promising and the reviews were fantastic, so it was an easy decision. We arrived around 7:00 on a Saturday and the place wasn't super busy. We were shown to a nice table for two and I began perusing the menu, although I knew exactly what I wanted to start with. When I was a kid, I used to love eating Marks & Spencer's frozen Scotch Egg and I was certainly heartbroken when that British franchise closed all their Canadian stores. So when I saw a Scotch Egg ("Classic pork, soft boiled egg, panko crusted, mustard remoulade") on Kitchen On Sixth's menu, I knew I had to try it. It arrived a short time later and certainly looked perfect. It's actually even better than I had hoped. The sausage outer layer is perfect and not dry at all, while the egg interior is just as good. (That egg is cooked so well it's almost ridiculous.) This may have been the best Scotch Egg I've ever eaten. For my main, I went with the Lamb Saddle ("Fingerling potato, brussels sprouts, bubble & squeak, mint jelly, jus"). The presentation was terrific, and the dish tasted just as good as it looked. The meat was perfectly cooked, while the various accompanying components complemented the dish really well. The highlight is that meat, though, which was super tender and flavorful. It was kind of a mind-blower. The service was friendly and efficient, too. I think Kitchen On Sixth might just end up being our new go-to for a night out.

So so so good. Fell in love with this local gem pre-covid. Prior to pandemic, I loved to come here for brunch on the weekend. Great service, atmosphere and food. During covid times, I've ordered take out a few times. Each time, food is hot and fresh, great portions and flavours! My last experience was for my family's Christmas dinner :) We ordered 2 Christmas dinners (one turkey roulade, and one roast beef) which came with ALL the fixings, plus we added a full order of the amazing pear and beet salad, a side of maple glazed bangers (so tasty!), and a banoffee pie (the perfect way to cap off the meal). And to bring us into the new year, we grabbed frozen pies to stock up in our freezer: 4 mini meat pies and a large fisherman pie (which we've since tried and LOVED). This unsuspecting spot has had me craving their food on a few occasions now. Not only is the food presentation on point and their mimosas are $4!!, everything is delicious. They even offer some authentic British dishes like black and white pudding. Service has been very hospitable. Definitely recommend.

The egg Benny with smoke Simon was really yummy but I personally didn't like the lemon custard, it gave a sweet and sour taste which I preferred if it was just the smoke Simon and their home made hollandaise sauce. Their soup of the day (leek soup) was my favourite! I would that that next time as my main!

Just happened to be driving through New Toronto at lunchtime so thought we'd give this place a try. Was seated with a menu promptly and our coffees came right away. The menu wasn't huge but it looked interesting. We both ended up ordering the huevos rancheros because that's my jam. Any time it's on the menu, I gotta try it. I ordered mine with veggie sausage, hubby with regular sausage. I have to say I was a little disappointed. It was just very dry. I know! How the heck is huevos rancheros dry?! So they do something to the corn tortillas that involves salsa but all it does is dry the tortilla out. There was then a minuscule bit of guacamole on the tortilla. Then the veggie sausage was crumbled on top and so so dry. Then the awesome sunny side up eggs. (Good thing or I would have sent the whole thing back) on top of the eggs I had, no kidding, 5 tiny little pieces of tomato that was supposed to be pico de gallo. I had to ask for more quac and pico to brighten this up a bit. Waitress was very apologetic and brought a bit of each. I had salad with mine. Nice light with a fresh dressing. Hubby has some amazing fries with his. I really think they should rethink the huevos rancheros. Can be the most amazing dish! Especially with REAL guacamole, and a gorgeous tomatillo sauce loaded on top. A bit of chedder under the eggs. And stop whatever you're doing to the tortillas. Just warm them a bit on the grill. Yum. Call me if you change it up!

The half English breakfast with Bangers was tasty and filling. The coffee was strong and flavorful - my wife had the same but with baked beans. Good food. My son had the huevos rancheros, authentic in flavor and ample in quantity. Will go back there anytime

The staff at Kitchen on Sixth impressed the hell out of me before I even walked in the door. I phoned during the day to make a dinner reservation and asked for a quiet table, mentioning that one member of our group had hearing challenges. Right away the person I was speaking with said she would leave a note for the evening shift telling them not to have the music too loud. Incredibly thoughtful! Our dinner was excellent -- the staff was friendly and professional and the food very good. I will support Kitchen on Sixth as much as I can!

Ordered the nachos and got toastidos instead. There version I guess.‍‍ Not much on menu.

We were extremely impressed with the food here. Classic British food with a hint of North American twist. We tried the Scotch Egg and Samosa starters, both of which were delicious, and portioned just right. The sauce that accompanies the samosa is wonderful, it's a pity they don't jar it and sell it to take home. There's a small selection of draught beers, including a rotation of guest craft beers, as well as signature cocktails and a small wine list. Staff are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We definitly enjoyed our meal here and certainly will be back soon.

One of the best restaurants in Etobicoke. The menu has many delicious options. The fries are seasoned in a unique way that makes them stand out from the many other places that serve fries. The chicken waffle is the best I've had in Toronto.

Great full English. Service was great. We sit at the bar, since it was really busy. It's not often to see a place in Canada to have black pudding.

I went yesterday to this cute cozy place for brunch by myself! They have a nice patio outside but I stayed indoor because the weather was extremely hot! I had the vegetarian Benny which was so tasty and delicious. I also got the cucumber cooler drink which was so refreshing! Service was good and the host was so friendly.

Awesome little brunch spot, perfect for kids, super warm and friendly service, and really great, simple menu with really tasty food. This is the kind of place where, when you wake up one morning, have a bunch of errands to run, decide you want to go somewhere on the fly for a quick brunch that's actually a little nicer than Sunset Grille, IT was totally what you were thinking of. Mind reader of the year award goes to: this place. Yay, good food! Yay, new awesome neighborhood find!

I've been to Kitchen on Sixth's original location before they moved last year. The new restaurant is bigger, the vibe is casual, and the food is great, especially given the price. Food options are limited to less than 10 items on the menu - I've tried the Posh Mushrooms, the Eggs Benedict, and the Breakfast Poutine. All are pretty savoury and the food is very filling. One of my other favourites is the drinks - all affordably priced (unlike brunch spots), you can get some great specialty ones for $3.50. I recommend giving the Strawberry Tea Lemonade a try. Prepared with David's Tea, and some sparkling Lemonade, it's a great drink along with your meal. Service is friendly and quick. The waitress brought out the drinks and food in a timely manner and everything was delicious. Again, I'd definitely recommend trying this resto if you're in the area.

We were in for Sunday brunch today around 9:30 and it filled up quickly. We tried several items on the menu, including the Pork Belly Benedict, Breakfast Poutine, and Ulster Fry and we added sides, crepes and chicken n waffle. All was good, especially liked the spiced up cut fries and the crepes. The pork belly and bangers were my favourite parts of the meal.

Arrived saturday morning around 11am, it was suuuper bumping! Right after us a long line of 6-8people formed as the venue was packed. I got the chicken and waffles and was pleasantly surprised that the waffle was sweet/dense (not fluffy) and the chicken being lightly crisp but juicy in the inside. Maple syrup and blueberry compote also went well together. The eggs on the beny were cooked to perfection but the star of the show was the FRIES. Amazing fries! Thick-cut with different types of seasoning dried to perfection. I'm definitely going to try the breakfast poutine next time.

Excellent brunch place! We came here after a morning of hockey (kiddo is in hockey now). I was famished! I had the chicken and waffles. It's excellent but the portion size is huge. It was delicious. I will come back. Next time, I'm going to ask hubby to order something smaller, since he had to finish my dish anyway! A delicious find!

Finally made my way down to Kitchen on Sixth for breakfast and am so happy to have discovered it. This place may compete with Heuvos Gourmet as my favourite breakfast spot on Lake Shore. We came right at opening and the server was friendly, seating us quickly. We ordered coffees to begin and almond milk was quickly brought over. My husband went with the Full English breakfast ($14), whereas I went for the Pork Belly Benedict ($15). You're offered the option of salad/chips/mix with both choices - we both chose chips and this is probably the best choice I made all weekend. The chips on their own are fantastic. They are deliciously crisp, generously portioned, and seasoned with an interesting spice mix. My benedict was slightly adventurous - it had apple butter underneath the pork belly which cut down the saltiness from the pork belly. The eggs were cooked perfectly with runny yolk and the hollandaise was decadent without being too thick. Overall it was flavourful without making you feel like you ate too much afterwards. My husband also enjoyed the variety in the Full Breakfast, with all of its accompaniments. Frankly I'd come back just for the chips on their own! On top of this, the server was friendly and personable, without being too intrusive, managing all of the incoming patrons deftly. Make sure you take some time to come down here & support a great local business.

As if south Etobicoke didn't have enough bangin' breakfast spots already, now we've got a new location for Kitchen On Sixth (located between 8th and 9th on Lakeshore) with more room and an amazing menu to help feed the weekend brunch gangs! What I like about this place is that they do traditional English fare, and for breakfast this means all the classics you could hope for like bangers, black or white pudding, beans, toast and bacon that reminded me of the rashers I had when last visiting Ireland. The menu is also incredibly thoughtful at breakfast, my wife (a vegetarian) was able to get an eggs benedict which I believe was called Eggs with benefits and had portabello mushroom caps and perfectly cooked eggs. The menu is big but for my money I knew I was having either a full or half english breakfast hands down... so I went with the full. Huge portion and all for only $14?! My wife and I go out for breakfast/brunch fairly regularly and we seldom walk out for less than $40-50 all in. Our meal taxes in was less than $30 with coffees, and with tip ended up just over $30. Incredible. I hope that KoS continues to provide large value breakfasts at reasonable prices. If so they'll kill it in the neighbourhood and always be busy. I'm sold and cannot wait to come back again this weekend! Eatcrest Out

Amazing scotch egg! I haven't had a good one for a long time and this really did the trick. It reminded me of a summer a long time ago, I was working at a beachfront resort in Scotland when I overheard this woman, a regular named Dahlia. She leans back in the pool chair, adjusts her straw, and crosses her feet, then motions to Schmidty for some more shade, spinning her finger in the air. "I was working then," she says to a semi-circle of friends, "Working in a factory--can you believe it? Gawd, it was terrible. Well--mostly terrible. Daddy said it would make me appreciate a hard day's work. And I wanted to tell him that I would appreciate he not interfere in my business. I was nineteen. I had other prospects for the summer. Besides, it's not like I needed the money. Anyway--so there I was making sure the labels went on straight at the cannery when out of nowhere this thick steak of a man comes and replaces the girl at the station beside me. He smelled like cedar and cigarettes. Hey, he said to me with this sexy chin dip. Hey, I said back. Christ, he was handsome. So, we do this Hey thing back and forth for a few weeks and I'm beginning to think he's as thick as he looks, But finally one afternoon when the shift ended. He caught up to me in the parking lot and said, Hey, I think you're pretty. Gawd, I know I'm pretty, I said back. Haven't you got anything else to say? I swear he had to think about it for a whole minute. Want to go out on Saturday night? he said in this low goofy voice. I felt sorry for him really, so I did. And then I did it again and again. The why's and how's? Well, you can imagine, can't you? But Jesus, it was a painfully long courtship. He couldn't take a hint if you stuck it between his eyes. I would've given up if he weren't so goddamn good-looking. Ten years later--we're still married. Sh sh sh, never mind here he comes now--Hey love!"

A misleading 5 stars - Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Took awhile for them to greet us (which was the case for everyone that came in after us). There is a waiting spot with card games and comfortable couches. The decor and atmosphere is nice. There were 2 servers on the floor and one working the bar. The place had a couple of empty tables and manageable for the three on floor. Do you want competent or friendly? Well, you can only choose one here when it comes to service. Sarah (I believe was her name as she wore one of those name necklaces) was ours. She was rude and it looked like it would hurt her if she smiled. But she got our order right and cleaned our table promptly. She never checked in on us to see how our food was. Her responses were short and had a very rude tone. The other server, we did not get her name but was in training and was bubbly and friendly but would forget her customers orders or to seat customers when they were waiting for a seat. The food was 3.5 stars. We ordered the half English and smoked salmon Benedict with a side of salted caramel crepe. Would we be back? Unlikely.

Comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Staffs super friendly. I would love to go back again. Totally recommend for a good brunch place.

Great little gem in Long Branch. Busy but good. Service is slow but food was 5 stars. Forgot the rum in my drink but can't knock a star for that. Pork belly Benedict was deep fried crispy goodness - highly recommend!!

Tonight was our first time trying this place. Since Covid we've not eaten out much at all and most of the meals we've had were just OK...but this place is out of this world! We ordered the Veggie Wellington, a pear and beet salad, and a BBQ blueberry Brie burger with fries. I could truly bathe in the onion gravy on the Wellington as it's that damn good. The fries...well, they are simply spectacular and the seasoning on them is delicious. Our order was quickly prepared and arrived piping hot. The burger came with two well seasoned patties. I strongly recommend eating here and we will definitely be return customers.

The staff is always great and interact with each other well- which speaks about the quality of the place in itself! The food is also so good. Plus, they offer amazing frozen pies for a decent price, so you can make them at home. yummm

Best brunch on Lakeshore! It was our first time visiting and the food was better than we had expected. Everything was fresh and flavourful. The French fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chicken n waffles had a delicious unique spin on it with blueberries. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming, and our (blonde) waitress was super informative and friendly. They have lots of craft beers which is always nice. My only feedback is I wish the eggs Benedict had a little more Hollandaise sauce- it was so good!

Went with friend and my spouse for lunch. One toilet for the customers was inconvenient. Ordered grilled cheese with pea meal and fries. The plate was dinner plate sized with half covered in over salted and soggy fries. Sandwich was a messy, greasy and the melted cheese was clotted. A cloth napkin wasn't enough to get the grease off my hands. I ended up eating the other half with a fork and knife. Won't be going back.

This is a great spot. The breakfast is on point, and the first proper British fry up I've had since moving her nearly 3 years ago - proper British beans & black/white pudding. Delicious! My girlfriend had the strawberry French toast which was also very tasty, a generous portion too! If you wanted a sweet option this is definitely one to go for. The staff are great, cool layout, will definitely be back to try the Sunday roast!

Great local restaurant that does a lot for the community. From donating pies for a local charity auction, hosting a Christmas market to hosting comedy nights, Kitchen on Sixth is a real gem for the area and great English style pub food too!

I got the grilled cheese with parm fries. It was really good! However the bread was a little too sweet for my liking. I loved the crispy onions on the sandwich. The parm fries were delicious and my favourite part of the meal. Overall I recommend this place, they have an interesting menu with something for everyone (including vegetarians).

Dined for brunch and the food was absolutely delicious! Other than not having air conditioning and not immediately receiving any cutlery this is the place to be. The food and the kind service will quickly make you forgive. A must try

I am so happy to see this little restaurant grow and secure this great spot. We loved going to their old location however it was a bit small. Now with any expansion there is going to be a learning curve for new staff, but the food is unbelievable and you won't be disappointed. We went and had the breakfast poutine and the French Toast, both were full of flavour, cooked to perfection and reminded me of my grandmothers cooking. Now I haven't been able to try out their Sunday Roast Dinner yet, but the owner told me she makes the Yorkshire pudding fresh that day, and toast is cooked to a nice juicy medium. Just the thought of it was makin my mouth water. They have their liquor license now and have many offerings every night of the week and we can't wait to return and enjoy that taste of home cooking. It's nice to have a bit of home in the area.

FANTASTIC!! Was tired of loud and rushing atmosphere of a local eatery. Kitchen On Sixth satisfied my need for quiet contemplation. The food was Stellar and the owner very welcoming. Great future for this soon to be Hot Spot. Watch out world. Bonnie :)

It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed our breakfast on their patio, which had been temporarily extended per the rules. Plenty of bicycle riders stopped by for a meal as this restaurant is close to the lakefront trail. I ordered the Beny with Benefits served on Portobello mushrooms, very interesting and tasty alternative. Fries were seasoned to perfection. The wife loved her mushroom toast with a fig vinaigrette. Service was fast. A couple of their tent / umbrellas were not functioning on a sunny day, I am confident that was temporary. We would be visiting again for sure.

Very good Restaurant, great value. Fish and chip was great and would def come back. I would love to come back for dinner. Great pub type food, fresh ingredients.
