L'Alimentari

I’d give it a solid 10/10. Very cute place with warm interiors, very intimate and perfect for when you’re craving really good Italian. We had the zucchini mozzarella, the rigatoni Gorgonzola & the pappardelle. Everything was perfectly flavoured, our entire experience was wholesome and I’d definitely recommend visiting it!!

A gorgeous surprise on a night out in Paris. The waiter/owner (didn't get his name) was accommodating and placed a table outside for us. Warm enough for this even though it was mid-November (thanks Climate Change). The meal was simple yet exquisite. I was tempted to lick my plate but took a picture instead as I pretend to be civilized. Suggested wine paring was delicious and complemented the meal beautifully. Of course we had to end the evening with the home-made Tiramisu. Was to-die for. I've added L'Alimentari to my list of must-visit places in this gorgeous city. Only issue was that they only took cash, meaning we had to go find a cashpoint...but a small issue that didn't mar the experience.

Delicious, authentic Italian food. Each dish is made by the owner, and truly with love. A very pleasant, traditional atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to go back! Sadly we had a really disappointing meal here. While the ambience was initially very pleasant, the pasta was uncooked to the point of inedible (white inside and chewy). When I gently pointed this out to the waiter he dismissed this and demanded it was ‘Al dente’. It was not. The cook then came out of the kitchen with the supermarket packet of pasta and showed us that the cooking time and he insisted he cooked it for 1 minute more. It was an unfortunate dining experience.

Intimate dining. Beautifully decorated space. Delicious food, pasta cooked to perfection and good size portions. Wide range of wines and cocktails. Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful little restaurant, with perfectly prepared pasta and top notch service - very cozy dining room, nice house wine, and perfectly prepared al dente pasta with crispy guanciale in the carbonara. Really a gem.
