absolutely beautiful place, just didn't love how most of the menu was fried

Firstly we didn’t actually eat here much to our regret but visited it for drinks every day of our 4 day stay in a fantastic Airbnb next door. Reef is a gem - brilliant host who can’t do enough for you - I’m sure you were glad to see the back of us loud Irish people Reef but sorry to say we will be back some day lol. The cafe itself has an amazing vibe and electric buzz to it situated right beside the beautiful Canal St Martin. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

3rd visit. 1st visit was by accident, the cocktail (mezcal with chipotle liquer and lime) was superb. 2nd visit was for the same cocktail and a snack, it was great. 3rd visit was for a full meal and holy cow it was absolutely delicious and exceeded expectations. The calamari was the best cooked calamari I've ever eaten. The meatball was delicious, the salads were simply the best. The music is always fun, the wine by the glass and the beer are top notch. The toilet is on on main floor which is a bonus. Absolutely live this place. It takes us 50 minutes from home to get here and its so worth the time.

Service, food and atmosphere were perfect. Our host Reef was super informative about gluten free items and the menu. They didn’t have a dessert that was gluten free but by the end of the dinner the chef had whipped up a flourless chocolate cake which was divine. Truly incredible service and care. 10/10

Top 5 restaurant in Paris. Great location, incredible food, cozy and beautiful atmosphere — all for a very reasonable price. Visited multiple times for coffee in the morning and a group dinner in the evening. Highly recommend the natural wine on tap and latkes.

Great new cafe au canal. Tasty food and the natural wine was to die for. Love the ambiance. Can’t wait to come back.

A very nice place! Really good drinks, even nonalcoholic, great food and there is a Hemingway like man working there who is the definition of a host, in German and English.
