Sgrean discovering good food in Hanoi 😁 Like & Follow me for more. 👍👍👍 The porridge are blended until you cant see any rice bits, more like glue, baby food texture and very salty. Ribs cartilage with tiny bits of meat attached, I need to keep removing the soft bones. Did not manage to try their bbq skewers cos I reached like 5-6pm and not ready yet, maybe its much better, a pity for me. Overall I feel this is not something for typical Sgreans. 打卡,不过不好吃。

This is super delicious pork porridge. The porridge is grinded so smoothly just like baby food. I like it as it is tasty home food. The stall is right opposite the dong xuan market,easy to find. Just 40k for a set of porridge with fried bread.

Known for their signature cartilage porridge, it is an underrated place. Highly recommended especially during the cold month as the soup warms up your belly with tastes you never had before. Can recommend.

Pork ribs are added to rice batter, and then fried dough sticks are soaked in it, making it very delicious. It’s even tastier when paired with barbecue. The staff only speak Vietnamese.

Oh My God!!! IMO the best rice porridge I’ve ever had. The rice porridge is cooked into a paste and the taste is heavenly. The pork skewers and honeyed French loaf goes perfectly. However, do not that you sit on a baby stool and dinner is served higher stool. Not for the faint hearted. Everything adds up to an authentic street food in Hanoi. Love it!!!

editing my reply to answer owner’s sarcasm i was very glad if anything was spoken in vietnamese. it was just a NO and a big headnod learn to accept feedback first before being sarcasstic to people not everyone is trying to pull your business down old post: super rude! went to the counter to order pork skewers. they directed us to go wait close to the skewer lady. we waited for 10 minutes, only to be told off rudely by one of their staff with a “No” i guess he respects any other living creature more than he respected us. hope they start respecting people before they start losing them RESPECT everyone please

Lively place and busy. I am a big fan of the small table and chairs, providing a unique experience. We weren't sure how to order whether we go up or someone comes to us so we were waiting for 15 minutes. Eventually someone came over to us. We ordered two pork congee. This is the most unique texture of congee I have ever heard of. Normally, there is some bits of rice in the congee, but this congee was a completely smooth thick porridge. The congee was incredibly smoky and rich. The congee initially gave a really wholesome feeling and with the pepper added gave the much needed fire. However, I did find the meal a bit too rich for my liking. I think I would struggle to finish that portion size off if I had that meal quite often. I would have liked something to add to cut through the richness of the congee. The bits of pork inside the congee were incredible. They were beautifully cooked and tasty. Also, the pork floss and the congee work really well together if you get the ratio right. I couldn't have the crispy bread to go on top as it contains milk and egg, but my friend told me it is much needed to provide more texture to the meal. Overall, this congee is absolutely worth trying as I have never seen a meal like it, and was only 40K for a portion.
