Phê La - Hồ Tùng Mậu

🧋I stopped by Phê La for their Oolong tea, and it was good. The tea was smooth, fragrant, and had a natural flavor that was just right. I tried it iced, and it was refreshing without being too sweet (30% sugar). The place has a cozy, simple setup, great for hanging out with friends or getting some work done. The rooftop is a must if you’re looking to spend some quality time with a nice view. The staff were friendly and quick to serve. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and enjoy good tea.

Canadian traveller here. We arrived at 7:30am and it was not busy at all. Hidden across the street from the mall, this cafe is perfect if you need to cool down. Plenty of seating and clean inside. They have outlets on the 2nd floor if you need to recharge. There are three floors, outdoor front seating (with ceiling fan) and roof top seating. They serve desserts, coffee, and tea. We ordered the Hawaii Mousse cake and I recommend. It has a taste of flan cake, orange, and not overly sweet. I recommend the Roasted Rice Milk tea as well.

Highly recommend when you want to have an original taste of coffee or tea in Vietnam! Friendly atmosphere

Apr 2025: first cafe visit of HCMC and I think I picked the wrong drink. Everyone had tall cups but mine came in a hot takeaway cup. Ambience was good and seems popular with local teens. May 2025: second visit - they didn’t exactly have the drink I wanted but I ordered another one (rice roasted tea) and it was good.

This place is nicely decorated and located in busy area. The drink is a bit too sweet, and staffs needs better training. Overall, they need more staffs and do cleaning, especially level 1 area.

Stumbled upon this coffee shop and got the truffle coffee because I like to try new things. It was so good! They gave me iced but I think it would be better hot because the truffle is in the foam. Sipping through the straw from the bottom of the cup I thought the coffee was meh until I tasted the delicious truffle foam! Omnomnom!

I and my husband were there a couple weeks ago. It was packed around noon time. Loud noises, small tables putting too close. Drinks size cups are quite tiny comparing to the prices. Their eggs coffee and tea were good, but the oolong boba was too mushy (not as good as everyone was crazy about it, or maybe it's just my taste different) . Black coffee was ok, nothing special. Employees are very friendly and helpful. One of them spoke too fast, I couldn't hear him well. Overall 7/10
