McDonald's Sandvika Storsenter

Best place to rest while on the road. Well known for its food they also have veggies. Parking is huge and free a special caravan parking too. Stayed the night, beside dinner had breakfast too.

Good food and friendly service crew

The food quality can be inconsistent, especially with burgers containing cabbage. These burgers tend to fall apart, making them messy to eat. However, the staff is generally quick to correct any order mistakes, like when I was given a single cheeseburger instead of a double. Anyway good place 👍

A little small on space. Easier to become full and without tables to sit down.

Not bad, as long as you don't get burgers that have cabbage in them (they just fall apart). Once, when ordering a double cheeseburger, they brought a regular cheeseburger, wrapped in double packaging, but when contacting the employees, they quickly changed it to the correct one. There is a small children's playground inside the cafe

DO NOT GO HERE - if you can avoid it. There are fine McDonald's in Asker and Liertoppen No customer service at all. If google would allow no, or negative stars that would be more appropriate. On three occasions they've messed up my order. -Two times when I tried to get it corrected I got told that it was me who made the mistake. So if I wanted something else I had pay for it. -One time I ordered to go, and didn't notice the error until we got back in the car, so maybe they would have sorted it out if I went back but I didn't. One time there was a wait for one item. They said they would bring it to our table. -That's fine. Then they forget us or don't bother. When I went back after the rest of the table was almost done eating, to ask what was taking so long. I was told that I had to come collect my meal and that they've never said they would bring it to us. I've had plenty of McFlurry in other McDs. This place managed to even mess that up. They hardly added any topping (see picture, there is a tint of chocolate but that's it). When I went back to ask why there was so little I was told they had actually added more than they should. So if I wanted more, I had to pay more. Seems like all other McD restaurants I've been in makes it the way I like it. But according to this place they're wrong and the Sandvika one is the only one doing it right. Worth noting that two of the times my kids were next to me when I ordered, and there is no way they would have let me get their order wrong at McD :). And we're not talking massive changes to the meal. One was the infamous "no pickle" on the burger, that I ended up just picking out of my sons burger. and one was a Big Mac without any saus, that came with it. I just ended up eating the BigMac and get a new hamburger for my son. The third was a McFlurry with the wrong topping. I don't think I have too high expectations, but this place manages to disappoint most of the time.

Here we go again. The initial turnover was great. Unfortunatly they seem to be going back to old patterns. We have noticed an increase in frequently recieving cold burgers, fries and now they seem to be having problems with their milkshakes aswell. The last 4 times we have ordered milkshakes they been complete liquid, not a single inch of them where frozen. Check your order before you leave, or the only one who would really appreciate the fries.. is your dog.

Clean fast food restaurant located in the mall and at a short walking distance from the Sandvika train station....
