I arrived on Christmas Eve and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The area is mainly filled with second-hand and vintage shops, and overall the prices tend to be on the higher side. It’s interesting to walk around and browse, but it’s probably better for window-shopping than for finding real bargains.

Amsterdam is full of canals, bridges, and boats. In an ideal scenario even the cars could be transformed in smal floating boats. The features that make these streets so beautiful, it's the fact that they preserve the time back in ages like 1700-1800. In this case a nice scenario for many nice moments grown up. For instance, it could be a nice walk during the sunset, or a night walk when all the buildings are reflected inside the water

Stunning canal paths, architecture and scenery. It's wonderful to see how tidy and clean the area is now that it is a world heritage site. There are plenty of shops, cafés, museums and restaurants to explore also

A lovely canal walk, we did a round the routes for about 3 hours. The bridges and the wonky houses are just what I was looking to see again. I love all the styled and colourful bikes they put inside. It was nice to see boats passing by. We were looking to ride a boat for the light show around the canal but after 3hrs of walking, my sister doesnt even want to leave the hotel anymore. Haha Maybe next time!

Fun set of boutiques and mid range luxury shops spanning 3 parallel streets - 9 blocks would be an accurate description as well! Great for purchasing gifts for others (and certainly for yourself). Nice variety, but don’t expect any inexpensive souvenir shops over here. Lovely place to spend an afternoon!

If you’re visiting Amsterdam, take some time to explore the Nine Streets. The canals in this area are beautiful, and there are plenty of lovely shops and great places to eat, where you can try famous Dutch fries or a stroopwafel.

The 9 streets in Amsterdam is a fantastic city experience. Luckily the sun came out for us and we were able to take in the beauty of the canal and the quaint side streets, shops, and lively atmosphere. Got to look at a good mix of vintage and designer stores. It does get busy and packed. We queued up to get hot chocolate from Pluck. I’d say it might be instagrammable, but it’s a bit overrated and not worth the wait. Lol
