Seventeen Saloon Hotel

For the budget price, I can't really complain. The room was nice, large and clean. The only issue I had was the fire escape outside my room not being sealed, so the wind came through my room, and it made an eerie whistling noise and made my door hard to open. The place was 'spooky', kind of a Stephen King vibe. Still good for the price, but a strange atmosphere I would not want to return to.

I think this hotel has a lot of potential. The staff were nice but it does have some deficits. The bathroom sink was not very well designed and as a result there was constantly water on the bathroom floor...this was quite the annoyance. I found the beds rather uncomfortable, which seems to be the norm at each hotel I visited while in Vietnam. But this is all in comparison to my much softer bed at home. I did like the character of the hotel and it had some nice views of the river, the bridges; and the city. It is located across the street from a park that welcomes vendors of street food and various activities in the evening. Despite the bathroom situation I would recommend it as a lower budget option.

The hotel is located on the River. Rooms are a nice size. I had a\c problems with the first room and quickly changed to another. It also had a\c problems but was quickly fixed., Upkeep should be more of a priority. Housekeeping are very pleasant. The hotel is not much directed towards foreigners. Front desk English is very rudimentary and the breakfast buffet is 95% Asian. I'm starting to think that the bigger a hotel gets in Vietnam, the more Asian it's breakfast becomes. One great exception, the Indochine Palace in Hue.

Antique American West theme 🏨. Comfortable plush beds. Fixtures appear to be higher quality be deteriorated in some cases. One working elevator for about 12 floors. Breakfast buffet is Satisfactory, try the noodle soups.

We went to the Seventeen Salloon with expectations of having a lively and exciting time after reading reviews! Well let me tell you the truth about this Bar, it is so loud inside that you can’t order a drink without yelling yourself hoarse! The drinks are so over priced it is ridiculous, there were 5 of us in the Bar! They handed me a cold wet wipe which was very nice, then they charged me for the wet wipes! I drink Diet Coke in my drinks, they didn’t have any, they suggested Orange Juice in my Rum, how ridiculous! I suggest if you want a good time in DaNang avoid this bar at all costs!

Staff here are very friendly and room is comfortable and clean. Good variety of food for breakfast. Also, the hotel is within reasonable distance from major atrractions.

Nice Bar with live music, sexy waitresses and good atmosphere. More between a bar and club, good place to check out. Drinks are a bit more upscale than elsewhere.

Not a bad experience, but it also could be better. The laundry service is surprisingly good. Not a central location but convenient to take Uber to anywhere.
