"After helming two restaurants in Los Angeles , native Santa Fe chef John Sedlar returns to his grandmother’s New Mexicancuisineat Eloisa. The whitewashed, minimal, brick-exposed space serves as a temple for savory empanaditas , sopes , tamales, posole, tortillas made with fresh masa, and creative jicama and guacamole tacos with flower petals. To sip, tequila and mezcal cocktails arecrafted by Dede Roybal,a bartending genius. You won’t be disappointed. All dishes are expertly and artistically plated. Afterward, stretch your legs walking around downtown Santa Fe—Eloisa'slocale couldn’t be any more convenient."

All the dishes were fantastic. The flavors are unique yet traditional. The presentation is satisfying. The service is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. I was impressed by everyone's dishes but I recommend the Ruban taco appetizers and of course the tamales. The drinks were good, but a little pricey

Sat at the bar and while the bartender made me a custom tequiladrink, the calamari I ordered was very bland and greasy and the potato vichyssoise soup was luke warm at best. Would probs not return for the prices they think they can charge for the lackluster food. Def skip and find another place for dinner.

What a great restaurant. The food was delicious. Familiar but different. Great service, lovely room and great atmosphere.

The food and service (with a smile) is always fantastic at Eloisa. I've never had a bad experience in their modern and quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Took my team there for our holiday lunch. Nice vibe and enjoyed it not being South West style. The menu was reasonable, though not great for those on plant based diets, and the prices were fair for a higher end restaurant. Everyone certainly felt they were being treated. A couple of small things that a restaurant of that caliber should do better - I ordered seasonal veggies, which would have been great, if the season was summer. Our local Farmers Market has some great root veggies at this time of year, so the chef might want to take a trip. And several of the entrees are served in big dishes and the server was carrying one in each hand with his thumb in the bowl. Some Silver Service training wouldn’t go amiss. The desserts are delicious! All in all, we were very happy with the experience and I would certainly recommend it.

Well 1st if all, the service is amazing!!!! They are very kid friendly and their food is excellent. It’s a beautiful location and the inside is decorated quite nicely. They definitely follow the rule “the customer is always right”, which I admire. I ha the soft shell crab and it was amazing, my brother had the venison and he loved it, my mother had the grouper and also loved it, so I think you will be pleased with what you order for your main course. Now....let’s talk about desert, let’s just say... ITS A MUST HAVE!!!!!! If you order ANYTHING on the desert menu, it will be exquisite. I highly recommend you go to Eloise if you are a local or a tourist, you won’t regret it.
