Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2

The hotel rooms are large, bright, and very comfortable. I loved having a window and city view in the Old Quarter — not easy to find! The service was top-notch. Mimi at the front desk was very professional and friendly, always checking if we needed anything. She truly represents excellent customer service.

This hotel is a great value for money. The room was modern, clean, and well-maintained. The elevator was convenient, and the breakfast had many choices. All staff were kind, but Mimi deserves special mention. She was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay.

⭐️⭐️ 2 out of 5 — Good Location but Needs Major Improvement We stayed here expecting a big hotel based on the photos, but the setup was quite different in person. The lobby is quite small (around 60–80 sqm), and the elevator starts only from the second floor and stops at the sixth, so we still had to take extra stairs to reach our room — not very convenient, especially with luggage. The room itself felt a bit old. Towels were very worn out and definitely need replacement. Breakfast was the most disappointing part — they often ran out of food, and we had to ask several times for refills, which took a while. The staff didn’t seem proactive and were often chatting in the kitchen instead of attending to guests. Plates and glasses were also not properly cleaned. We overheard other guests complaining about the breakfast too. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent — right in the center of the Old Quarter, close to everything. However, neighboring hotels in the same area looked newer and better maintained. Recommendation: If you’re after location, this place is perfect. But if you’re looking for comfort and good service, there are better options nearby.

We stayed in a room with a large balcony, and the city view was amazing. The room was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. Mimi helped us arrange airport transfer and tours, and everything went perfectly. Her attention to detail and friendliness made our stay stress-free.

Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2 is a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Breakfast on the 2nd floor with city view was a great way to start the day. I would like to give special praise to Mimi, who went above and beyond to assist us with tours and transportation. Her hospitality made a big difference.

Great central location in old quarter. Very friendly and helpful staff, they organized all tours and car rides promptly. The breakfast was good although not the best. Overall I recommend the hotel it's good value for the location.
