"NYUAD Art Gallery Just a few short years after its opening, the NYUAD Art Gallery has made its presence known on Abu Dhabi 's growing contemporary-art scene, with its unexpected exhibitions by students, local artists, and international creators like Chinese sculptor Ai Weiwei and Syrian-born Diana al-Hadid ( Phantom Limb) . The gallery hosts plenty of events, too, like an interactive spray-paint-art experience and the Seed, a "live-music, video, dance, and spoken-word performance mash-up." After viewing whatever's currently on display, be sure to stop by the new Blacksmith Coffee Company on campus for an espresso. The gallery space is easily accessible at the front of the NYUAD campus on Saadiyat Island, and admission is free."

I had the pleasure of visiting the New York University Abu Dhabi Art Gallery, and it was such a wonderful experience. Located within the campus premises, the gallery is a beautiful space that showcases diverse exhibitions. During my visit, I was fortunate to attend the Open Campus Day, which added an extra layer of excitement to the experience. The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire visit enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the curator’s tour of the current exhibition. The curator gave a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how the exhibits were curated, which truly enhanced my appreciation of the artwork on display. It was insightful to hear about the thought process and the stories behind the pieces. The exhibitions are constantly changing, so there's always something new to see, and I’m looking forward to returning to catch the next one. The atmosphere is welcoming and educational, and it’s a great spot to explore contemporary art in Abu Dhabi. Highly recommend a visit, especially if you have the chance to join one of the curator-led tours!

Contemporary art gallery representing new ideas and techniques. It hives a platform for different artists and provides diverse experience for the visitors. The staff is extremely passionate and always ready to help, it’s possible to check the details even in Instagram’s Direct of the gallery. The place itself is modern and spacious, good spot for photographers.

NYU Abu Dhabi’s Gallery Space featuring a thought provoking and immersive programme of exhibitions. I have visited several times and they also have a reading room which provides a great space for lectures and book launches.
