Alpine Steakhouse and Butcher Shop

We didn't have a reservation but we were lucky to get a table, no wait. Get a boot, tables are too tight, I was almost rubbing my elbows with the other party. The food was good, but I was expecting bigger portions. The bread and butter was definitely the highlight of the meal. We ordered a second round. This place is also a butcher shop, with plenty of variety including seafood.

Thank you Alpine Butcher! This was the first year I ordered provisions for Thanksgiving from Alpine. Like many others, we had family traveling a long way to be together for Thanksgiving and while the main reason for the holiday is for us all to be together and share how grateful we are, I still wanted to create a memorable feast! That we did with the help of great protein from Alpine. The brined turkey went on the smoker and came off 3 1/2 later perfect! We also ordered (2) two inch thick porter house steaks, I smoked them as well with just some corse black pepper and reverse seared them. They were delicious! Great flavor from great quality meat. I have been ordering meats from Alpine occasionally recently, they are now my go to butcher. You earned our business with your quality products and knowledgeable and friendly service.

Delicious German-inspired menu with amazing sides and quality food. A little pricey, but well worth it! Their butcher shop area is impressive, and the meats all looked incredibly fresh even at the very end of the day.

Locally owned, we always have a good meal here. The menu offers a diverse selection of items to choose from. If you do not see, they will make it. If you want a steak, well, you have come to the right place. German / Austrian food is always excellent. Server-wait staff have been there a while, which helps. Go try it out! In season can be a little wait; they do reservations.

This was our first visit to Alpine. It will be our last. For the size of portions and 1 included side it was very pricey. My Cowboys steak came out over cooked. Returned it and came out under cooked. Took it home and finished it myself. By the time I got it everyone else was done eating. The Cowboy was a third fat for 70.00 The crab cakes were not authentic, and very small. My wife had the Filet Mignon, always her favorite but she was not impressed. The baked potato was great. For the money we get a better meal at Ruth Chris or Chart House in a much nicer setting. Our waitress was Chloe and she was great, very concerned about my steak, she kept apologizing, I told her it wasn’t her fault. I left her a good tip. Our bill was 200.00 with drinks plus tip. Too much money for a 2 star restaurant.

Busy place with low-key old timey music. Great food (especially their house-made sausage). Even the sautéed veggies were great! I’d say this may be one of the best restaurants in town (especially value-wise). It is a bit loud though, but not too bad.

This was not my first rodeo at Alpina Steakhouse, and once more I was reassured that I am dealing with professional. The display alone is enough to make any meat lover's heart race — pristine cuts, perfectly marbled steaks, and a sense of pride in every piece behind the glass. I was planning a special dinner and had some very specific ideas in mind. the staff stepped in with enthusiasm, expert advice, and an uncanny ability to understand exactly what I was going for. They weren’t just selling me meat — they were helping me craft a perfect meal. They listened, made suggestions I hadn’t thought of, and even tailored the cuts to suit my needs. That level of attention and genuine interest in what I wanted is rare, and I appreciated every second of it. This isn’t just a butcher shop — it’s a destination for anyone who respects real quality and craftsmanship.

12/1/25. We ate here twice to be sure we had it right this last visit . Some things have changed here as usual change is ever present and I always order the same dish as it was stellar the last two times in a week the filet mignon was tough Chewy and not their usual this was 2 times in a row days apart in a week the Stroganoff sauce was the same the meat not so good guys . Still great service still gonna eat here gonna ask for something diff I think lol . Still a great eatery I hope they fix the sign …. 4/10/25 another stellar meal at alpine our waitstaff TRISTA ! Awesome personally friendly attentive , we had the prime rib delicious ! Ceasar salad is real dressing made there as well . We keep going back …. lol thank you Trista ! Thank you ALPINE ! We enjoy your food fare immensely ! 4/8/25 Have eaten here now a few times the meal I had tonight was simply put “fantastic” , I ordered the stroganoff ! So simple yet so delicious . The mushroom onion gravy was an explosion of flavor the meat was 14 day dry aged filet mignon chunks that were so tender . My wife ordered a blackened grilled shrimp Ceasar salad it was her second Ceasar there two days ago we had lunch there I had a burger it was also impressive . Everything I have ever had here so far has been stellar . I also had the New Orleans bread pudding for desert . Also delicious . I am convinced this is a diamond of a find For lunch or dinner . I give it a solid five stars . Find this place order and sit back and be amazed . I always level with people and this is the real deal . The filet the steaks even the Ceasar salad it’s real Ceasar dressing ! Someone really knows what they are doing in this kitchen . If they are on a wait …. Do yourself a favor go ahead and wait it’s so worth it . I am just wondering what the next meal I try is going to be …..

My dad and went drove an hour to get the turducken. It was worth the trip. Great food. Good service. Casual environment. We saw that they sell prime steaks in the restaurant and in the meat market, so we decided to go back and have another lunch. The plan was for me to have a steak, and if it was a lot better than the choice steaks we get from the grocery store, we'd make a monthly trip for lunch and to stock up on steaks. We won't be going back. Never again. My dad had schnitzel. It was average to below average. I had the boneless ribeye. It was a joke. I don't how the hell that made it onto a plate and onto my table, but it did. I've had better steaks at 3am at an all night breakfast place. I do not want to make any accusations, but if someone told me any or all of the following, I'd believe them: The "chef's" culinary experience consists of fast food and hospitals. The meat is actually select. The meat was leftover from the night before and was reheated in the microwave. The steak was cooked entirely in the microwave. The steak was actually fake (ribeyes and tenderloin are the cuts most likely to be created using scraps from other cuts of meat). As an added bonus, it came to $160, including tip. (I don't send food back to the kitchen. I've know many kitchen employees and I've heard too many stories to be that dumb. So I just pay my bill, and tip appropriately, then write an honest review here). My dad and I not going back monthly, as was our plan, will cost them a lot more than I spent. Hopefully this review costs them a lot too. They deserve all the pain that follows a sharp downturn in business because it's obvious they don't care.

We love the combo of market and a unique take on steakhouse cuisine. This restaurant has deep roots back to Karl Ehmer days, and offers house made dishes like the famous Turducken, sausages, goulash and more. And of course, steak and seafood! It's a casual atmosphere with a back bar and market to the left, along with retail wine sales. The staff is on point and service is excellent. Corkage $20... Experience- excellent!

Saw this place on TV; years ago. Finally drive down from Orlando to try the place. I sure like the place. Maybe the food is a solid 4-star place; but I give 5 stars for the dark haired/younger/ slender build waitress and her service. Good thing this place has her - as she is quite proficient and does great at anticipating the customer need, without having to ask. And on this day, she handled a number of tables; without making you feel (she) was that busy. Ok, on to the food comments: - French onion soup: Excellent and very well balanced. - turducken: A great rendition of the turkducken itself. The stuffing within the dish was very good tasting. The cook on the turkey, duck and chicken was spot on. Now, do I wish they had a better gravy to top the dish; yes. But hey, they nailed the protein aspect of the dish. Weiner schnitzel: Another great dish. (2) veal cutlets come to the table and they look great. Great crust on the veal. The lemon caper sauce was light tasting and wish I had more of it on the plate! Red cabbage: I'm (not) your best judge as this stuff was way tart from the vinegar. I'm not the big tart fan. Being here for lunch, didn't get to try the BBQ or a steak....but I think they are probably quite good. I saw the steak in the butcher case...they had great color and marbling. I again, sure like this place and I'm glad we finally made it Alpine!

First time visit for me to this local gem! It has a butchers counter and a dining area for those confused. Stopped in at lunch time for a quick bite and ordered based on recommendation. The food came out very quickly and the server was extremely kind and attentive. Food was amazing and I couldn't ask for anything more for the taste. If you haven't been you should definitely try and if you do ask for their house mustard. It's a stone ground honey mustard that is amazing!

This is the first time we've eaten at the restaurant. We've stopped to pick up gulf shrimp (amazing) and beef to grill a few times. So we finally decided to eat there. I ordered the beef stroganoff because I really like it and don't see it on many menus. It definitely shouldn't be on this menu. It was horrible. Overcooked meat, minimal sauce and cheap noodles. All for $31. When they asked how the food was I explained. They didn't dispute it and the manager came to ask about it (politely and listening). I ate enough that I told them to leave it on the bill but they should take this off the menu. Every other dish looked amazing so don't mess up with this. Well, they took it off the bill anyway. Bottom line is this is a great restaurant but don't order the beef stroganoff. I did appreciate how they handled the situation so will go back and order something different. The prime rib looked great.

Called two weeks ago for a business Christmas dinner. Didn't have reservation, no issue they found us a table anyway. Service was slow, never got the bread and butter. It was a party of 6, 4 ordered delmonico one turducken and another filet. All of the delmonico people said steak had gristle and was very fatty. Turducken said it wasn't enough food. My filet was cooked perfectly. No seasoning on it but I sprinkled s &p and it was fine. Bernaise sauce was horrible. Had to have been microwaved. Sides were ok. I had a salad and 5 of us had French onion soup. Wasn't bad. I don't care if you have been in that location for 5 months or 53 years. It's needs an update seats are abused. And I would prefer for the wine list to be on paper and my menu to be hard bound. Not the other way around. The prices of the steak warrant a better experience. Drink refills were even slow. To have an up charge for salad is ridiculous. Plates are huge which make the portions look small. Our bill was $600. Will not go back. Our executive team wasn't impressed.

As a regular customer, I can confidently say that Alpine is the go-to place for all things beef. Great butcher cabinet selection. Their ribeyes and burgers are fantastic, and I also love their artichoke-stuffed mushrooms - absolutely delicious! Nice wine selection. While the roast beef is good, the sandwich doesn't have enough meat on there. Small critique after dozens of visits. Alpine appreciates their customers and cares about this product - it shows!

Ordered a NY strip. It was done to perfection. Service was somewhat lacking, but they were very busy. Never got our bread. Husband had to ask for a tea refill. Overall, good food, meh service.

Wow! This restaurant and butcher shop is amazing. We went with my parents, delightful people, and everyone was able to find something that they really wanted. The restaurant is amazing with how everything is set up, it's very unique. You can get many steaks and starters to take home and cook, and they had a great selection of starters to take on a picnic. The prices are fair and the staff are excellent!

In house butcher and family owned. This truly is one of the best steak houses in Sarasota without any of the unnecessary extra fluff that you might see in a stereotypical, over priced steak house. You will receive a top quality meal with amazing prices and excellent service every time. There is no shortage of love for food at this restaurant and it shows. You feel like family when you are here and you will leave so satisfied and dreaming about the meal you just had.

The aroma greets you and if the sign didn't tip you off, this is definitely not your average chophouse /market! The food is mouthwatering and the service was soo good! They came out of the kitchen, made sure we were getting the cut and temp correctly, even came around the bar to make certain we had wine while we waited! The patrons are happy because this is a destination that treats you so well! Guests interact with one another at the bar, having dinner- it was a blast!!

Food was good, nice atmosphere and fine service. 2nd time here did not disappoint. Will like go again.

I was in town from California on a visit. My Dad and I were on our way to another steakhouse. We were driving and I saw the Alpine smoker and sign and told my Dad that we should just stop in and eat there. It was busy so we had about a 30 min wait. Gave me time to browse the chop shop. Wonderful assortment of all of my favorites. Including Japanese Waygu ($$$$), German sausages and don't forget a nice choice of seafood. We were seated, decided on a few starters and were not disappointed. Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail was great, sauce had a great bite of horseradish (just how I make mine). The House Smoked bacon was delicious. Keep in mind, this is not traditional crispy bacon, it leans towards the texture of pork belly and was perfect. As our mains we both had the Delmonico Ribeye. I had the cucumber salad, which brought back many Midwestern summer picnic memories. My Dad had the home made potato chips. Wonderfully crispy and seasoned very nice. The steaks were cooked just right and hit the spot. I will definitely be back on my next visit. Much appreciated. Keep up the great work.

Great place to buy your favorite meat to go from the butcher shop or order off the menu! Nice bar with a wide assortment of wine and beer! Home of the Turducken!

Service was ok and food was NOT EVEN AVERAGE. Veal schnitzel was just a little piece of chewy meat. not bigger than 4" and 1.5" wide. Super thin. My husband had a steak for dinner and was super disappointing. Not cooked right. Not charged enough etc At least I had a glass of prisoner ( $20) Glad we went so we can take it off the list!!

We tried this place for the first time. We tried the poached shrimp with cocktail sauce (sauce was perfect) , also the charbroiled oysters. We ordered a top sirloin steak and it was delicious. Their wine selection is very extensive. Our server was friendly and took care of us really well. They also have a meat market with side selections also. We will definitely come back again.

Such a solid diner with fine cuts of meat and unique touches throughout the restaurant like cowhide on the booth seats and a deer antler chandelier! We stopped in on a complete whim and to our surprise, found this hip diner/butchers shop. We split a burger and fries with individual side salads. The burger was so good, perfectly juicy with grilled onions. The house salad has mushrooms and peppers which was a welcomed surprise to add dimension to the house salad. Only thing is the side salad was poorly presented with huge chunks of vegetable that needed to be cut up but cutting up the salad was difficult because it was on a too small bowl and also because we had a butter knife to work with. Regardless, we loved this restaurant and I think it's one of the best places to get a burger from in town.

My husband had the french dip that had very little meat in it. I ordered a burger medium, it came out extremely rare. My husband was done with his lunch before my now over done burger came out. No apologies or check back after food served.

Took my wife here the other day. We both got the beef on weck as we haven't seen it on a menu outside of Buffalo. It was excellent, with just enough horseradish. I got a side of chips which were fried to order. My wife got cole slaw which she reported was light and vinegary. The service was attentive.

Alpine Steakhouse has been on my list of Diners, Drive Ins and Dives to visit for some time, but for whatever reason when we are in Sarasota, we get busy and haven't been here before. When our favorite pizza place had no indoor dining, we were searching for an alternative and then I knew just where to go ! We had such delicious food and a great service! We enjoyed two specials that were on the menu that nice, the Korean BBQ Ribs as an appetizer and the Tenderloin Tips dinner, as well as the Shrimp Dinner and a garden salad. We had super fast service, warm bread and butter, delicious flavors! We will definitely be back!

Not much to look at from outside, but don't let that stop you! The inside is very casual, soft drinks served in plastic cups.... but the important part is the filet mignon is outstanding! The twice baked potato and asparagus were perfect! I've had plenty of steaks at many upscale restaurants, and this place is on par with the quality of their meats.

My wife and I really liked this place. We went on burger day and both got burgers. I ordered medium and it was rare, my wife ordered medium-well and it was medium at best. They happily fixed that, but next time I'll give a detailed description of "level of pink" for the meat. Burgers were great quality and flavor, probably the best I had in Sarasota. Salad was also really good. Definitely on my Sarasota go-to list now.

Alpine Steakhouse is always consistent and delicious. High quality products that never miss. Plus, the butcher shop is excellent. Always look forward to going there.

Well, it did not disappoint. Had the burger, medium rare, with the steak fries, and it was excellent. I will definitely be back. It will be my go to place for burgers in Sarasota! Generous portions, great service, great price, overall excellent. I also had the cucumber salad, which was very good. Andrea our server was excellent as well. Definitely give Alpine steakhouse a try.

This review is solely for the butcher section. They have a nice selection of meat and everything looked super fresh. They were super friendly and helpful too so I purchased quite a few items. So far everything has been delicious. Can't wait to try more.

Hadn't been back in a few trips so I stopped in for another visit to this TripleD great for a bite to eat. Grabbed a Turducken Sandwich on this trip as I'd had the big Turducken Meal on the last visit. It was amazing....these folks know how to do it!! Waitress was very nice...Great folks all around!

Best steak & burger place in SRQ. Matt, his Dad, Andrea, Chloe... all fantastic. I eat at Alpine about twice a week. The bar is great.

After driving by this place at least once a week for months we finally decided to pop in. It was a good decision! Had no idea what to expect. Apparently this spot is locally "famous" but we hadn't heard of it. What caught our attention was that it was also a butcher shop! More on that later.. Got off to a slow start as we had a good 7-8 minutes of standing at the entrance before someone came to seat us, but as they were decently busy we didn't fault them for it. Our server turned up immediately and took our drink orders. By the time she came back with the drinks we were ready to order. The décor reminds me of an old school mess hall building in the way its laid out. Both tables and booths. You can also sit at the bar. The ambience is pretty laid back and family friendly. Food came out decently fast. It looked, smelled, and tasted great! Wife had the Philly cheese steak and I had the home made kielbasa sandwich. Both were fantastic. Note - if you have pork allergies or just don't eat it, be aware that the German potato salad does have pork in it, even though it's not mentioned on the menu. Speaking of home made kielbasa, did I mention there is a whole butcher shop INSIDE the restaurant? Of course I HAD to check it out immediately following the meal. They have some amazing looking cuts of meat, along with some baked goods, and prepared entrees. The steaks though.. don't leave without looking at the steaks! DON'T DO IT.

I have been to 63 places on Diners Drive Ins And Dives. This was middle of the pack. Not bad by any means...just not awesome. Food wasn't really hot either, more warm. I ordered the Turducken because I always wanted to try one, it tasted good. Thought it would have been a little bigger. Wife got the sampler platter. Seemed expensive for what you got. Ribs were not fall of the bone type. Brisket was good (again, not hot). Bread pudding for dessert was good. Overall, not bad...just wouldn't be my first choice.

I visited for the first time yesterday; got a strip steak and chicken noodle soup to go. Both exceptional. Steak is pricey at $40.00/lb. but that's likely what you need to pay for a Prime cut these days. I'll definitely return for dining in.

A Steakhouse that can't cook a steak to the right temperature. Ordered the NY strip and received it twice cooked medium well instead of medium. Avoid this place.

Enjoyed the food , a local friend told us if we were in the mood for a burger or other meat this was the place to go. Friendly and efficient staff took good care of us and the ambience was hip with clean lines and a bit of flare with the cowhide booths, red white and chrome accents. The meat counter, to die! I am of Bavarian decent and spoiled for excellent European meat markets by growing up in Pittsburgh, PA. This place is legit.

My fiancé is from Texas and he's been wanting to try Alpine. We entered into a beautiful and really fresh take on Texas decor. We didn't have a reservation and they were so warm and friendly immediately! They gave us a lay of the land so to speak and were so knowledgeable about their cuts of meat which made ordering a breeze! We started with an on special app of there's Brisket with chimichurri... it was INCREDIBLE! I then ordered a porterhouse with truffle fries... literal tears came to my eyes. I normally love a good steak sauce, but it would have been an insult to the meat and it's preparation! My fiancé got a Texas plate of sausage, ribs, brisket, and some of the largest hand cut potato wedges I've ever seen! If all of this wasn't enough, when I asked for a box for the rest of my steak (massive portions) our server Dutch asked if I was saving it for steak and eggs. When I said "I'd have to stop at Walmart but I'm considering it!" He wordlessly goes into the back and comes back out with a dozen home grown eggs HE GETS FROM HIS OWN CHICKENS! Free of charge. We were BLOWN away! Especially in a time where the art of service has gone by the wayside. Plain and simple, if you're in Sarasota and you're feeling a good steak... don't walk to Alpine Steakhouse... RUN!

High quality meats to purchase and take home. But you may want to ask about the price before you get to the register. I bought an already made rack of baby back ribs and a few other things. When I got home and took everything out, I was surprised to see the ribs were $35.00. Now, I have to say, they were really meaty and they were extremely tasty, so my overall review is you get high quality meats! It was a serious rack of ribs! Would I buy them again, absolutely yes! I wanted to purchase fresh Polish sausage but they only have smoked, he said call them ahead of time and he'll save some fresh before they smoke them. They smoke meats on premise.

The food was amazing! The server was so pleasant and helpful with her suggestions. I got the Roast Beef on Wreck with fries and my husband got the Reuben with German Potato Salad. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back

One of the few places you might be able to get calves liver which my husband loves. I had a burger with bacon and it was good also. The bacon was almost like pork belly- really delish. Restaurant fills up early and if you want a specific time or booth you must book a reservation,

We decided to go last night to the Alpine Steakhouse in Sarasota in celebration of my husband's birthday. Based on their advertising, we understood that all of their beef was Prime and our server also told us before ordering all the meat was Prime. I ordered their bone-in strip steak and hubby ordered the Delmonico both medium rare. When our meals arrived both steaks were very overcooked and our server graciously returned them to the kitchen to have another order made. This time my steak was utterly raw and had to be set back again for further cooking, but hubby's was cooked perfectly but his rib eye was substituted with a strip steak. In the past when ordering a prime-cut steak it would always be favorable, tender and easy to cut, both steaks were tough and very chewy. It was very obvious that our server, who was wonderful, knew we were extremely disappointed with our meals. Our bill was $150.00 which included two $6.00 glasses of wine and two $6.00 salads plus steaks costing nearly $60.00 each. To be honest, the steaks at Texas Roadhouse were far more superior than those we were served. One other thing, there house salad had large pieces of tomato, pepper and onion and there knives were so dull it was a challenge to cut them into smaller bite size pieces however the rolls were warm and flavorful. Sorry to say we will not be returning.

Went to restaurant Saturday June 17, ordered the grilled chicken dinner. Chicken came out under cooked and like rubber. Sent it back, again not hot and rubbery! The issue is no one addressed this with me and took care of it! I sent an email to restaurant with no response! Very poor food and service. Wont be back.

This was a meat market as well as a sit-down restaurant. Besides different types of meats, there was a wide variety of other options including their famous turducken. The service was friendly, and the food came out quickly. For an appetizer, 2 specials were ordered. The stone crab claws ($16) and blue crab stuffed mushrooms ($10) were ordered. There were 3 claws with a mustard sauce. These were fresh and not fishy at all. The mushrooms had fresh crab, old bay, and a béarnaise sauce. There were 4 present. The old bay was not tasted, but the crab and béarnaise sauce was pleasant even though there was little too much of the sauce. For an entrée, I split the turducken ($19.99) and a 12 oz. NY strip (Around $29.99). The turducken consisted of a boneless chicken stuffed inside a boneless duck stuffed inside a boneless turkey. There were 3 different stuffings. There was a cornbread stuffing with sage sausage, onions, and celery. The spinach stuffing had onions, bell peppers, celery, parmesan cheese, and garlic. There was also an Andouille sausage with roasted red bell peppers. It also came with a side of mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. It was alright. Everything could definitely not be tasted, but the turkey and cornbread stuffing stood out the most. The turkey portion was very tender. The NY strip was a center cut and cooked to a perfect medium temperature. The cut of meat was seasoned nicely, not overdone at all. There was also a side of vegetables which consisted of bell peppers and squash that particular evening. They were solid, no complaints there. I also tried the BBQ ribs, which were great. The BBQ sauce was not too overpowering and the rib meat came right off the bone, very appetizing. Will I go back? Yes.

Best butcher around. The steaks, pork chops, short ribs, sausages, chicken and seafood options are great. They will hand cut to your liking on any meat. A little pricey - but well worth it for the quality and service. We catered a party from Alpine and had the pulled pork and pulled chicken - which got rave reviews from guest. Oh and the Ahi Tuna platter was amazing- fresh and beautifully displayed. Dining in is easy and casual- great value and great staff. Friendliest group around. Home of the turduckin too!

Food is awesome and awesomely priced. Better than the more famous steak houses in town. Those restaurants win on ambiance and service, but for pure carnivore experience... Alpine does a great job.

A relaxing lunch We received a very nice welcome when we arrived and appreciated the help we received getting situated. The family owned Alpine Steakhouse is both a restaurant and a meat market, our visit was for a late lunch. I looked over the menu and decided on their Signature Steakburger, resisting the pull to try their famous TurDucKen. I suspect either choice would have been excellent. I learned the TurDucKen is still quite popular, even years after it rose to national acclaim. My burger tasted great. It was messy to eat, stacked too high to easily manage. I learned long ago to cut my burgers in half, so if one half comes apart I have a second half to try again. I peeked inside and saw onion rings, mayo, and slices of tomatoes. I never stood a chance - lol. The burger comes with a side, several choices, I went with their German potato salad. I loved it. Our server was very nice. Our visit seemed long but thinking back, that may have been mostly our fault. Aside from the food taking a bit more than 15 minutes to arrive, I can't point to anything that was too delayed. I think we just ate slow. I'm calling it a relaxing lunch.

Excellent food and service in a casual atmosphere. Fabulous crab cakes to start -- I thoroughly enjoyed the calves liver (which is hard to find and even harder to find when cooked perfectly). Weiner Schnitzel was delicious. The service was impeccable -- oh and the desserts were to die for (Creme Brulee and New Orleans Bread Pudding)!

had lunch here on Saturday. Johnna waited on us and she was very nice and attentive. We started with the shrimp cocktail, although I would have liked it a little colder, it has a good taste and was accompanied by a very good cocktail sauce. My wife went with a burger and I had the pastrami both sandwiches were very good. my wife had the regular fries and I had the steak fries. Both were served hot and tasty...next time we are there, we will bring a cooler to bring home some the nice looking meat they had in the butcher shop, including Turducken.
