"The Budapest Design Terminal, a Bauhaus-style building dating to 1948 on the Buda side of the Danube, was once a derelict bus terminal. These days the space, renovated in the early 2010s, is a hot spot for cow-orking, "incubation," networking, shops, galleries, and even a monthly public market for arts and crafts called WAMP. This is the place to find unique Hungarian-made jewelry, fashion, design objects, furniture, and more, smack in the middle of the Hungarian capital's nascent fashion district near Elizabeth Square. From here, it's easy to stroll and find new Hungarian-made togs you won't find elsewhere."

Great place to grab a lunch or a dinner. We came here twice while visiting Budapest. The stuff speaks great English, food is very tasty and the overall atmosphere is super. I most definitely recommend to anyone looking for a decent place to dine and don't want to get ripped off by tourist diners.

Really overrated expensive restaurant in the middle of Budapest. This building was a bus terminal before that, right now reused the space for restaurants, pubs, common spaces. The old retro design with the basic symbols of a bus terminal remained the same, and appear on the napkins and other elements. I have participated a private event on the second floor, I just drank a coffee there. Everything was professional.

I haven't tried this place actually, I just simply like to know that this was a real bus terminal before and now it has been renovated into a cool bar and restraunt. Since I like its modern architecture and it has been preserved in a nice way, I am rating 5 stars =)

The Design Terminal building has a restaurant with a great terrace in the busy Erzsebet square right next to the park.
