If you find yourself winding along the cliffs of Praiano wondering where to have your “wow” dinner, Kasai is it. From start to finish, this place hits every note — service, presentation, and food that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about pasta. We started with the scallop appetizer, which was so perfectly seared it could have earned a standing ovation. Then came two pasta dishes — both excellent, though mine was a bit over-eagerly al dente. (I’m all for a little bite, but this one was training for the Ironman.) Still, flavor was spot-on. The lamb main, though, stole the show — tender, rich, and cooked with the kind of precision that makes you want to stand up and applaud the kitchen. Add in the warm service, the cozy romantic setting, and the unbeatable Amalfi charm, and you’ve got one of those meals that justifies every euro. If you only have one dinner in Praiano, make it this one. 5/5 — would happily eat here every night until they roll me back down the hill.

One of the greatest food experiences we had in Italy! We chose dinner here for my wife’s birthday and glad we did. You will find no better view and the staff are incredible. The food was as amazing as all the reviews say. Kasai was kind enough to let me bring in some desserts for my wife’s birthday and even arranged them on a plate for us. We had the crunchy scallop dish for an appetizer, the black truffle pasta, spaghetti with red squid and we shared the amazing lamb dish everyone’s raved about. If your on the coast stop in Praiano for this experience. Thank you Kasai! ❤️❤️❤️

We were recommended to come here by our Airbnb host and we’re so glad we did! We ordered the lobster pasta and the tempura cod. Both dishes were delicious and very filling. Staff was very accommodating. Outdoor seating has a beautiful view of the coast and the inside is very cozy and charming as well.

This was the most beautiful and delicious meal we had during our stay in Italy. The gnocchi, octopus, and chocolate dessert were unbelievable. The view on the patio is absolutely gorgeous. I only wish I was in town for longer to try to truffle pasta and fish tartare. If you are in Praiano you must visit Kasai - it’s worth the short walk up the hill!

We had the best meal here, unfortunately it was raining so we could not sit outside , but the food and service was outstanding, we shared a party dish and they where kind to split it in 3 small portions, main course we had the lamb what was so tender and tasty, perfectly done and finished with a tiramisu: fantastic !!!

What stunning views and excellent food. It gets very busy and we can see why. We were very lucky to get a table. Definitely a very special place for dinner. Thoroughly recommend. Worth booking!

Great atmosphere, food, service. Excellent wine list too! For dinner we had a lobster pasta dish and sea bass - both superb.

One of the best meals we had in Italy—hands down a top 3 restaurant on our entire trip. Kasai is a gem along the Amalfi Coast and absolutely worth the trip. Beautiful views, warm and welcoming service, and food that honestly blew us away. We ended up coming here three times during our stay. The first visit was for lunch, and even with a limited menu, they served up incredible dishes. That lunch alone convinced us to come back for dinner—and we’re so glad we did. The octopus salad with sweet vinegar over a perfect bed of greens? 9/10. The breaded scallop on potato purée? 9.5/10. And the breaded cod with sweet vinegar is a must-try. Their octopus spaghetti was beautifully balanced and full of flavor. Everything we tried felt thoughtful, fresh, and skillfully prepared. Don't forget their desserts! Great way to end the meal. The team treated us like family from the start—we were affectionately known as the Jack Daniel’s table by the end! Sunset seating is stunning, but bring mosquito repellent or ask the staff—they’ve got you covered. Huge thanks to the Kasai team. With food and service like this, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Michelin recommendation in their future.
