TLDR; one of the only spots in Tokyo that felt like worth the wait. Let me start by saying that we got the the shop 30 minutes after it opened and waited in line for 50 minutes before we got to the front of the line. Honestly there were moments where I was ready to leave, but I’m glad we stayed. The coffee here is really an experience, I love that you can pick your own beans. The result is truly worth the time - the latte was silky smooth and absolutely luxurious to the point where we ordered seconds. The seating space is small but definitely worth spending time in. I saw a lot of folks taking their coffee to go, but we definitely enjoyed hanging out in the shop.

Hands down, the best coffee I’ve ever had. I make coffee everyday and am a huge fan of tea, they do an amazing job infusing the fragrance from the tea with their beans, very nicely balanced. My partner and I ordered a latte and was very impressed that we immediately wanted to try the pour over version afterwards. The after taste is beautiful, very floral and not bitter at all! As for the service, they were all very sweet and kind - always down to answer any questions we had. We were lucky to line up for only 20 minutes since we went on a rainy day but usually we see a pretty long line every time we pass by so I’d say beaware of how long the lineup can be - still definitely worth it though! I ended up buying the beans (I got the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Idido since I LOVE jasmine) and immediately regretted not buying more. I just made a latte after returning home from Japan and it was as good as it tasted when I had it there. If it weren’t for the expensive shipping fees I would have definitely started buying most of my coffee beans from here!

We randomly found this specialty coffee spot near our lunch place and decided to try it. There was a short wait of about 20 minutes, which built up the anticipation.Once inside, the staff were fantastic. They patiently introduced us to their different coffee beans. We ended up ordering a latte, and I chose a bean with a fruity aroma.Although I'm not usually a big coffee lover, their coffee was so good that it will definitely make me want to come back next time. The coffee is a bit pricey compared to chain franchises, but you are absolutely paying for the quality. It's worth every penny.

The process here is fun: queuing up (for an hour), then smelling through jars of beans that range from standard to wild fermentation profiles (lots of banana and lychee aromas). I went with the El Vergel (Colombia). It was brewed well, clean and smooth with the promised apricot and raisin notes, but it lacked the depth or "spark" I look for in a world-class shop. It felt technically correct but didn't leave a lasting impression. Given the massive line and the reputation, I walked away feeling it was slightly overhyped.

I went there at about 10, but had to queue for 1 hour. Once I got in, the staffs were friendly and informative about the coffee beans. They use Origami dripper with Paragon Dripper stand. Ordered 3 different types of coffee with distinct taste note, but getting some woody taste note from some cups which is not so ideal. Bought Colombia Gesha home!

We waited in line for over an hour, and it was SO worth it. This is a personalized experience. The staff asks you questions about what kind of coffee you like, and then makes recommendations based on that. They have about 10 jars of beans, labeled with country of origin and flavor notes. You can open each jar and smell it before making a decision. Prices range from ~ 1500¥ to 4000¥. After smelling a few varieties, I landed on the one recommended by the barista. She was right! This is the first coffee I've ever tasted that didn't need any milk or sugar. I'm sad there's nothing like it back home.

Serious coffee place. They prepare only 3 methods: drip, latte (cow's milk only, not alternatives) and espresso. Keeping it simple highlights the coffee itself. Staff is very knowledgeable but also explain the differences effectively. And they did so for us in English too. Prices can range up to ¥6000 for a cup. I asked for coffee with floral notes and the staff got me Idido Ethiopia Yirgacheffe which had strong jasmine tea flavors. Blown away. Thank you again!
