Sukiyaki kappou Kato

Very polite and sincere waiters and waitress. Food quality is very good, Steak, Sukiyaki, wonderful dinner. Lady shop owner takes care everything including front office and kitchen. She ensures all tidy and clean. She farewell customers with her smiles up to door. Feel warm and respect. Very good experience.

As a tourist, I stumbled upon this place on Google and decided to try it. The sukiyaki was absolutely delicious! The owner personally prepared the meal with such attention to detail. Truly loved both the taste and the overall experience.

We came here to celebrate my grandparents’ 57th wedding anniversary and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff were all extremely nice and hospitable. We really enjoyed the food and everything was served with the highest quality of care. I’d love to come back if I ever get a chance to. I love Kato!

This place is absolutely lovely. It's a family owned and run restaurant with the feel and flavor of a Michelin starred phenomenon. They made me feel at home, like I was with my own family, while serving some of the best steak I have tasted in Sendai. 10/10

The owner family of the restaurant, especially Okami-san (mother of Kato Family) is filled with hospitality and humor. Many celebrities visit this restaurant to have a great meal and conversation with Okami-san. I have been a customer since the 90s and their food has been the best. I strongly recommend this place!

A little far from Sendai station but we were craving sukiyaki. Kato gave us a meal to remember. We ordered the cheapest Sendai beef, but that was already so melt-in-the-mouth delicious, I struggle to imagine how much better the better grades could be. I have never had sukiyaki this good, and we were all sorry that we couldn't go back to Kato to try their lunch. Good reason to return to Sendai!

Had lunch here, not cheap for sure but the overall experience is pretty nice. Old-school vibe, flavor-packed beef, I enjoyed it.
