Lobbs

Thoroughly enjoyed my chai latte, I think because it added honey? The steak sandwich was flavourful and my parents enjoyed the salmon bowl. The green chilli egg was a bit spicy but still delicious. My kids enjoyed the ham & tomato sandwich.

Lobbs is a great breakfast spot with warm lighting and a relaxed atmosphere. The food was fantastic we had the eggs Benedict and the chicken toasted sandwich, both full of flavour and perfectly done. Friendly vibe and quality meals. Would definitely come again!

My partner and I dropped by after hearing great feedback on Lobbs, and it exceeded our expectations. The café is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Everything we ordered was on point; the dishes were well presented, delicious, and paired with great coffee. The menu is impressive (worth checking online, or better yet, just go and be pleasantly surprised). I especially loved the salad options; I grabbed two to go and added boiled salmon. They were fresh, tasty, and a healthy choice (wish I remembered to take pics!). The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, even though it was super busy. We’ll definitely be back with the kids next time.

The home of the green chilli scramble. I find it addictive, but sometimes I still cheat with the benedict, pancakes or chicken schnitzel… Plenty of good stuff to choose from, good vibe.

Great coffee. Good environment, nice and relaxing. Did not had the chance to eat here. But will definitely come and try.

Beautiful brunch options - like that there was a mix of indulgent & very healthy choices. The eggs benedict is a standout, as is the broccoli bowl. Unfortunately the food took a very long time to come out even though it was a fairly quiet weekday lunch. (Perhaps it's faster during busy times e.g. weekends as they have more staff?) I wouldn't order meals again unless I was happy to wait 30-40 minutes for food. Matcha latte blend is very sweet - would prefer if it was unsweetened, or very subtly sweetened, then we could adjust to taste if wanted. Had a takeaway soy latte here a 2 years ago it was burnt & undrinkable. Worse than Maccas. Hoping that was a one-off and next time I try it will be good. The space is large & beautiful and it's in an area I frequent often for errands, so I'd go far more often - especially for drinks - if they were up to the Melbourne cafe standards.

Lobbs is a really great spot! The food is consistently good, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need. The atmosphere is also really nice, with a cozy vibe that's perfect for a casual meal or coffee. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
